This is the first occasion I have purchased anything from the Electric Showroom there communication was first class delivery on the date they stated, it came well parked and as for the Ring Door Bell that works fine.

Good prices and products, only thing that stopped them getting full five stars was it wasn't dispatched next day like the website said if ordered before a certain time. Will buy from them again.

Excellent service and delivery timescales.

Needed two new lights for shower, goods delivered quickly and are of very good quality and look nice now they are installed.

I was a bit worried having read other reviews but the price they had ring doorbells at was worth it! The order and Royal Mail 48 hour tracked post was brilliant. Arrived on stated day. No concerns.

I ordered this on Tuesday evening, and was a little nervous after seeing the reviews but it was a considerable saving compared to elsewhere. It was sent 48 hour Royal Mail and it arrived first thing on Friday morning. It is the genuine article so will see how it is when it's wired in next week.

I purchased a Ring Doorbell wifi extender for £39.99. However I actually received a Ring Pro doorbell cost £163.00 Being honest I contacted the Company to inform them of their error. They asked me to send it back and they provided very very quickly a returns label (far quicker than the order was received) They did not thank me at all. I asked them whether they might like to offer me a discount off my purchase as I had saved the Company £120. They offered me 50% off which I accepted. Several days later they contacted me and told me they were not offering me any discount as I had opened the box and therefore the item could not be re-sold. I informed them that I didn't know what was in the box until I opened it and discovered their error. So for my honesty I received no thanks and a recinded 50% discount. How bad is that? I should have kept the whole thing and never said a word to them. I will never use them again. Their Customer Service is non existent.

I read the bad reviews and was a bit reluctant to order. I needed a small order of electrical fittings and will say they arrived quickly with no problems at all.
The prices are good and free postage with a small order which is great.
Recommend them and will use again.

Disappointed I ordered a smoke alarm and was doing a bit of research on the products on their website. I admit I ordered wrong product but emailed them twice within 10 minutes of ordering. Never received product until 5 days later and still incorrect. won't be using them again as if you do have any issues they clearly are only looking at their sales not interested in customer satisfaction.

"Order in 1 hr to get this item tomorrow"... wrong.

After calling and emailing several times, I received an email saying "it should be with you by the end of the week" 7 days after the order!

Go figure. Or not. Just stay away.

I usually phone a new supplier first to see what their customer service is like before placing an order, but because I wasn't placing a very large order, I didn't bother doing so with The Electrical Showroom. Big mistake. Ten days on and still no sign of my order, not even a dispatch email. Calls to the number advertised on their web site are not answered. Calls to RM Electrical, of which The Electrical Showroom appears to be a trading name (they even share the same address), are not entertained and you'll simply be advised to phone The Electrical Showroom who, of course, won't pick up the phone. Judging by the other negative reviews, I'm not sure how a company can continue to trade like this.
Update 4/9/20 After managing to find an email address for someone at the parent company I finally managed to find out that despite being advertised as in stock, the goods were not in stock and nobody had contacted me to say as much. Thankfully I did manage to get a credit note and have been refunded the full value of my order. Upgraded from one star to two as they refunded me, but it was far too much effort to get to this stage.

This company will ship goods to you but has not After sales service. Phones are not answered, emails not responded to. You are on your own if you have any warranty type issue with your purchase.

I wanted to replace the switches and sockets in our lounge and the Electrical Showroom was the only place that I could get all them with polished chrome finish. Delivery was very quick and the new switches look so good my wife wants to replace all the others in the house so another order as been placed with the Electrical Showroom. I have had an issue with one switch but they didn't hesitate to replace it, I would highly recommend them.

I was a bit cautious of ordering from this company due to the reviews. I decided to call the office and spoke with a guy called Chris before i placed the order. Chris was very helpful and informed me which items where in stock and which had a longer lead time. I made my order online after and called Chris again after a 3 hours and he informed me that the items where all in the box and ready to be shipped to my address. All items arrived the following day with no problems.

Had to call to make sure they received my order as I had no confirmation .
Phone was answered and the guy was very helpful and confirmed order had been placed .
Ordered on Sunday and will be here on Friday .
I was recommended by my son who had the same item with no wait or problems whatsoever .
The ring alarm system is the cheapest I’ve seen from this site

Shocking, only delivered one item, other item didnt arrive and now wont pick up phone or respond to email - AVOID !

AVOID - not sure what i happening but phone never gets answered - item never turned up 7 days after email notification stating it had been shipped. Waiting for refund.

item return back but refund not received. never respond to email or phone. Avoid from this company.
