Great company with great customer…
Great company with great customer service. Application process was very quick and easy and I was offered a credit limit of £2000 despite my not so perfect credit history. The app is intuitive and easy to use and you can easily see your balance and future payments without any hidden costs. The concept of having a cross between a credit card and loan is a great idea and works for me perfectly.

Rubbish company, not worth the time or effort. HONEST and GENUINE applicant here, and REFUSED on ILLEGAL grounds. corrupt law breakers
i have had an account with them for a long time. I wanted to close my account. I followed all their steps to do so on theur website. I hsve been trying to close my account for 2 weeks, sent them 10 emails & they ignore my requests & wont close my account which is in credit.

Conservative on credit limit increase and APR has gone double!
I have been a loyal customer of Elfin for the past two years and have consistently made all of my payments on time. Despite this, I am disappointed to learn that my annual percentage rate (APR) has increased from 7% to 14%. I would like to request a credit limit increase, as I have not missed a single payment in the past two years.

Thank you for your email. We understand you are disappointed with the interest being increased on your account and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. However, please note that the new rate we are offering you is what the platform has been offering to new borrowers with a similar credit profile for the past 10 months. It is also significantly cheaper than the average credit card APRs in the UK, despite the increase.
As stated in the email we sent you on the topic, you can opt out of the rate increase by emailing us, and then pay off your remaining balance at your current interest rate. You can also request a credit limit increase in your app if you go to the 'More' tab which is at the bottom of the main screen. Eligibility will also depend on your financial circumstances at the time of the request.
Don't hesitate if you need further assistance.
