Ed thank you - amazing service
After DPD completely messed up a order from Ellis Brigham.
I went to raise a complaint as I needed the ski boots I ordered before going to the alps for Easter and DPD wouldn't help.
I spoke to Ed in customer service who was absolutely amazing .
He arranged for the order that was still with DPD ( awful company) to be returned to HQ. Got a pair of boots from a store to be returned to HQ to then be sent to me . This all happened in 24 hrs .
He sent me the links , gave clear instructions to enable me to re-order . Everything worked thanks to Ed .
He showed commitment and amazing customer service , thank you , thank you Ed ..... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️service 👍
Aviemore Store- Helpful Staff
The guys at the Aviemore shop were very helpful and although they couldn’t fix my old bindings with burst toe straps, they did try and provided alternative options.
Ended up purchasing new Union Force bindings. Quality and price beyond what I needed as an occasional boarder with limited experience 😂 but due to availability that’s what was available in my size. The chap downstairs also provided a list of ski/board rental options for the kids the day before.

Top service once again from the Bristol team, sorted me out with most my gear over the years! Great product knowledge and advice.
8 days later, order still not even dispatched.
Not even received my order yet but bored of waiting. Placed an order on a sunday evening thinking it would be dispatched and delivered sometime later in the week but now 8 days later it's still not even been shipped when I contacted customer services a couple of days ago I was told it was originally not dispatched (3 working days from order date) because it was apparently coming from a different warehouse - something not advertised on the website.
Since I needed it by the end of the week as a gift, that window has passed and so I've asked for it to be shipped direct to the recipient but it's still not dispatched more than a week from placing the order.
For a company charging premium prices on their products, this is weak and I won't be shopping there again when there's absolutely no excuse to be charging customers delivery fees and not shipping at a minimum the next working day.
Wasn't even offered a refund on my shipping for the delay.
Great Customer Service
Popped in to get my son fitted for a ski helmet and goggles. We were served by the very helpful and knowledgeable Hazel, who took the time to get the right fit and also advised on some extra things. Would highly recommend this store if you want good customer service.

Top end price, bottom end charmless service.
I bought skis and I feel that both the price and service at Ellis Brigham are terrible. I believe that I was overcharged for the skis in a way I thought sneaky at best. I thought the price quoted was for skis and bindings but it was just for skis. This was because other stores were quoting, for skis AND bindings, the price that I paid at Ellis Brigham just for for skis.
It turns out Ellis Brigham charges full retail prices which, in this case, was over 20% higher then I could have got elsewhere. Ok, that is fine, but with top end pricing you expect great service and the service I got was charmless and indifferent.
With the exception of the person who discussed the skis with me (and I am trying to recall the precise price she quoted and how it was quoted) everyone else was pretty unhelpful. Their telephone manner when I called was terrible and in the store they were totally charmless. I felt they wanted to do the absolute minimum even when the store was not busy. A fair number of people working in the ski department knew nothing about skiing. In fact, even before I realised I had overpaid, when I checked again on the internet, I intended to write a bad review based on the service alone.
A very small but very illustrative example: I struggled briefly to put the new ski set - for which I had paid nearly eight hundred pounds - in the ski bag when I was leaving. No one offered to help.

First ski boots for a mature learner
I’d never bought ski boots before and as an older skier having only just learned I was unsure of how to go about it with so many makes and options available. The boot fitter (Freddy) was very thorough in measuring and selecting the boots I eventually bought, adjusting them and explaining what I should feel and expect as the linings adjusted to my feet. Excellent service and after sales follow up should I need it.

Legendary customer service by Ben
The customer service provided by Ben was outstanding. Over the course of two saturdays he got both me and my partner fitted for snow boots and ordered them in for us. He did all of this whilst managing a stream of other customers. Despite a heavy workload of customers he was calm and attentive. He was very knowledgeable and also advised my partner on suitable snowboards for his riding style. He is a valuable member of the Bristol TSA - and 100% the reason why we purchased all our gear from there. Also, the other staff members were incredibly friendly.

Arrived early for my appointment for new ski boots fitting at Castleford - no problem, got straight down to it with Junior who was extremely knowledgeable, reassuring, helpful and great to talk to. Another lady member of staff who served me with snow boots (only ref I have is server 25) was equally helpful also ordering a jacket for delivery to my home from another store as they didn’t have my size in stock at Castleford. A pleasant experience all round - so much so that I spent more than I intended to, quite happily, I must add. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Snowboard Boots at MK
Went in to the EB/Snowboard Asylum store in MK try on some snowboarding boots for my first pair. I'd decided I wanted either step-ons or supermatic bindings so wanted to see if the step on compatible boots fit me or not (because I'm aware you shouldn't just buy any ol' pair of boots).
Cara came over to assist and spent the next hour or so getting me to try different boots and different sizes to find a match. She was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately knew what I should be looking for within minutes of looking at my feet!
When we started discussing bindings, just like with the boots, she was very open and honest about the products but allowed me to try them and come to my own conclusions. At no point did I feel pressured into making a purchase and she definitely wasn't trying to spur me onto the most expensive items... I hadn't intended to buy that day but I had such a good experience, I wanted to. I ended up going with a pair of thirtytwo boots and had them heat moulded there and then and she explained that I could go back at any time to have adjustments made.
UPDATE: Unfortunately after removing the liners after the first use, the stitching was coming undone.
I emailed thirtytwo who advised me to contact the store and a lady called Lucy responded to my email asking me to call her. I spoke to her on the phone and she was very apologetic. She got a pair of brand new liners from another pair of boots and put them aside for me, ready for when I'm next able to collect.
If I could add an extra star, I would. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.
