I would like to thank His Highness…
I would like to thank His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Martoum, all his staff at Emirates and the staff at the hotel 'Arabian' where we were accommodated.
While other airlines were running for the hills Emirates kept flying passengers home and accommodated and fed us.
Well done Emirates!

Disappointed but not surprised by Emirates’ response.
I’m due to fly Manchester to Bali via Dubai at the end of May and raised concerns about the ongoing instability in the region. The response? Because the flight is still “operational,” I either travel or pay £225 per person to cancel.
So essentially: wait and hope nothing changes, or pay a penalty now to avoid the risk. Great options.
I asked for a refund or a reroute via somewhere more stable like Istanbul — both refused, no real consideration given.
For an airline of this size, the lack of flexibility is pretty telling. Customers are being left to carry all the risk while Emirates sticks rigidly to policy.
Not exactly the level of service you’d expect.
Disgusting behaviour designed to keep as much of your money as possible and force u to cancel!
Absolute disgraceful behaviour! Due to fly to Dubai on Sunday, but have to fly to that airport the day before. Emirates won’t tell me if my flight is cancelled and have told me to turn up at the airport as they can cancel when I’m sat on the plane! So if my flight does get cancelled then I’m stuck in Manchester for 2 weeks as my uk flight was booked for when I got back from Dubai!

I purchased a business class ticket to fly from Houston to Hyderabad. Because of the safety concerns due to war, I have been trying to reach Emirates . No communication method works. I just do not understand these business ethics.

Absolutely shocking company I've been a loyal customer for many years they change my flight then wanted me to wait in the airport for 14 hours I had a wedding the next day and connections so i could not accept this and they tell you there's nothing they can do it's not in their policy to put you on a different airline shocking never again I was told it could be 2 months for a refund
Emirates lost our bags in Dubai during…
Emirates lost our bags in Dubai during our flight to New Zealand. We did not discover this for definite until we reached our final destination. We had airtags in both suitcases and could see that they were just put aside in Dubai and had not been put on board the next flight. We could only claim for our essentials from Qantas (as they were our final operators). When Qantas fired off an email to Emirates telling them where the bags had been sitting, miraculously the cases started to move towards a departure gate. It took 5 days for them to deliver the suitcases to our destination. We spent the first 5 days of our holidays shopping for items that were delayed. When I sent an email to them asking for compensation for lost holiday time and stress they sent a reply over a month later and said that Qantas had dealt with our claim for delayed luggage. When I tried to reply to the email pointing out that I was not claiming Emirates for lost essentials in luggage that we had to replace and was only claiming for compensation for delay, the reply email address was blocked from incoming mail.
If I hadn't had the airtags, I doubt that I would have got my luggage at all. If I could give them NO stars for their service, I would have. JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH Emirates.
PLEASE AVOID THIS SHITSHOW - WORST WORST WORST
3 flights cancelled. Absolute chaos. I understand this is not their fault considering there is a war going on but the way we were treated is absolutely unacceptable. After 3 flights cancelled we finally are able to get to dubai and we have a layover of 20 hours. The whole process of asking for the hotel was just insane no matter that we called and got it already booked before arriving. The whole emirates team has been RUDE and impolite to me despite me trying to nicely ask for info on wtf to do next. They told me I was going to be given ONE room only and we had to share. I have asked again nicely to at least receive 2 rooms but I was rejected. We wait in total 4 hours before being shouted at and put on a bus to the hotel. We arrive at Copthorne hotel and it took over one hour to check in - on top of that everyone was extremely rude and completely unorganised. Just MADNESS. I arrived at the hotel and after the longest and most frustrating waiting time the guy at the reception tells me “you have one room 3 beds that’s all you get”.
AVOID emirates and this hotel too.
Unfair Charges After Flight Disruption
I am extremely disappointed with my experience. My flight from Gatwick to Krabi via Dubai (scheduled for April 4th) was affected, including both the Dubai–Krabi and return Krabi–Dubai segments.
After contacting customer service, I was clearly told that I could either rebook the affected flights or request a full refund. I chose the full refund option.
However, when I received my refund, a significant amount (around £1000) was deducted as “fees.” This was never clearly explained to me during the call. I agreed to a full refund — not a heavily reduced one.
This feels completely unfair and misleading. If flights are affected or disrupted, customers should not be penalised with such high charges, especially when following the options provided by customer service.
I expected transparency and fair treatment, but instead I feel misled and out of pocket. I would not recommend based on this experience.

My friend Robbie hates Emirates
My friend Robbie hates Emirates. He tells me that they are the worst airline and that JetStar is his favourite. He told me a fact the other day that Emirates has more 1 star reviews than people on earth. Every time I say the word Emirates he starts groaning and looks really angry.
Emirates cancelled my flight 1 hour…
Emirates cancelled my flight 1 hour before departure when I was in the gate - apparently this is because of emirates notify cancellation earlier then they would need to provide accommodation so to save the accommodation money customers will receive cancellation last minute only.
Then my luggage was lost somewhere and had to come back 3 days consecutively to raise different tickets in the system to get the luggage. Not to mention the queue and waiting time.
I’m still in the process of claiming my luggage back… it’s still not yet done - this is such a poor customer experience and clearly the company only cares about making money and saving costs

There is no button on on the website to claim hotel costs. Thanks to emirates who is still selling tickets with connecting flights over dubai I am in the midle of the desert now.
Flight got diverted back to Bangalore…
Flight got diverted back to Bangalore after only 2 hours from Dubai and got terrible experience from the ground staff representing Emirates who asked all the European passengers to gather on one side of the terminal who would be offered a free hotel whereas all the asian passengers were asked to find their own accommodation.
Pure racial discrimination from emirates
Flight in April 2026
Flight in April 2026
I have a flight coming up in 30 days and while I am deeply sorry about everything that is going on in The Middleeast it is VERY frustrating that airlines such as Emirates are literally keeping their customers "hostages" and refusing to refund tickets.
So I finally got connected to their chat after days of not being able to. And these are some of responds.
That their customers is their "top priority". It's an absolute joke. They'll give me some of my money back but it'll cost me $310.
Literally NEVER USING EMIRATES AGAIN AFTER THIS AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO SO. Because while they may normally provide good service, just know that if a war breaks out, they'll not help or refund you since it not their fault.
Another company where money is at the front seat and not customer priority or safety.
I have been charged cancelation fee that is unfair because of the war
I had a flight booked from Brisbane to Dublin via Dubi On the 2nd of April returning on the 25th of April I had to fly on those dates I canceled this because of the war and Emirates charged me a cancelation fee This is not fair and it is not my fault I had to cancel I have always flown Emirates but now never again.
Emirates
Emirates is actually goated I had my flight from Seattle to Dubai (EK230) In economy I felt like I was in Emirates Plaitnum+ the seat was comfortable the walls dividing the classes had cool tree desgins comfortable seats and great entertainment system (ice) it was just a little expensive but you get what you paid for so It was honestly GREAT!!
Rude and dismissive staff
No contact with the airline, we are left alone. When finally got connected after 5 hrs they were rude and unhelpful. No options were offered. Ridiculous..
Horrendous
Horrendous. Stranded in Bali as a result of conflict.
No information at all. Think they hope as a result of this people will ask for refunds so that they can avoid any liabilty for costs incurred for accomodation etc. as a result.

Very prompt response to our request for a refund due to flight cancellations. The refund was received within ten days, which considering how busy they must be due to to the conflict was impressive.
It would have been good to have received some help to rebook flights or offer other options but the circumstances were exceptional.Would certainly fly business class with Emirates again. The best in the industry.
Issues with flight impacted by Iran
Issues with flight impacted by Iran. Lack of communication and continued to sell flights daily to go on to cancel them. Not great for what is one of the biggest international airlines
