Good communication and very helpful

I wasn’t aware that Emirates offers more than just flights. The deals were excellent, and even in these uncertain times (April 2026), everything went smoothly and professionally. We always felt in good hands and well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Wir waren vom 10. bis 26. Dezember für 16 Tage als Paar auf der Malediveninsel Velassaru und sind immer noch begeistert von diesem Urlaub.

Die Insel ist einfach traumhaft schön: puderweißer Sandstrand, türkisblaues, klares Meer und eine Ruhe, die einen sofort entspannen lässt. Genau so stellt man sich die Malediven vor. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und harmonisch, man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl.

Das Essen war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts richtig lecker und abwechslungsreich. Egal ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen – es war immer frisch, gut zubereitet und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Besonders möchten wir die Menschen hervorheben, die dort arbeiten. Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und fleißig. Man merkt, dass sie ihren Job gern machen und alles dafür tun, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen.

Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war für uns Heiligabend. Das Weihnachtsdinner war einfach wunderschön: festlich geschmückte Tische unter Palmen, eine tolle Auswahl an Speisen aus der ganzen Welt und dazu eine Musikband, die mit ruhigen, stimmungsvollen Liedern für eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre gesorgt hat. Es war sehr gemütlich, emotional und einfach unvergesslich.

Dieser Urlaub auf Velassaru war für uns etwas ganz Besonderes. Wir haben jede Minute genossen und nehmen viele schöne Erinnerungen mit nach Hause. Wer einen entspannten, wunderschönen Urlaub auf den Malediven verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig.
Wir kommen wieder.

We stayed on the Maldivian island of Velassaru from December 10 to December 26 for 16 days as a couple, and we are still absolutely thrilled with this vacation.

The island is simply stunning: powder-white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you relax instantly. This is exactly how you imagine the Maldives. Everything is very well maintained and harmonious, and you feel comfortable from the very first moment.

The food was delicious and varied throughout our entire stay. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was always fresh, well prepared, and beautifully presented. We would especially like to highlight the people working there. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and hardworking. You can really tell that they enjoy their jobs and do everything they can to make guests feel welcome.

A very special highlight for us was Christmas Eve. The Christmas dinner was simply wonderful: festively decorated tables under palm trees, an excellent selection of dishes from all over the world, and a live band playing calm, atmospheric music that created a truly special mood. It was cozy, emotional, and absolutely unforgettable.

This vacation on Velassaru was truly something special for us. We enjoyed every single minute and are taking home many beautiful memories. If you are looking for a relaxing and beautiful holiday in the Maldives, this is the perfect place.

We will definitely come back.

We had fabulous holidays on the Seychelles. 12 days in 3 hotels, very nice.
Hilton Labrize, Le Duc du Praslin and Constance Ephelia were great hotels. All three very different, but all three are excellent

The customer care of emirates holidays is really good. We had some special requirements for our holiday which Emirates took very weel care of.

Already the planning and booking process was very stressful - it turned out that wrong information was stored in the system at Emirates Holidays Germany and the consultant had passed this on to me unchecked. She told me that a certain type of villa in the desired Maldives resort was linked to additional services. When I then wanted to book, it was said that this had changed and would now cost extra. Also, the All Inclusive services on the website were described incorrectly, this turned out only after the booking was completed. The team leader then wrote to me that unfortunately there was another error here and the booking would have to be completely canceled if I did not agree to pay half of the surcharge. Since I did not want to start the complete travel planning again, I agreed to this. At the airport in Dubai, the Merhaba service included in the booking unfortunately did not know about our arrival, and also in the Dubai hotel, the email promised by the Emirates consultant because of an early check-in had not been received. I complained about this the same day to Emirates Holidays via email and did not even receive a response - overall really disappointing service for a very expensive booking.

From the first phone call with Paulo in Frankfurt it was clear that I would book with the emirates travel agency. Everything was so easy and organized, from the vouchers per email to the transfers by car, plane and Sea Plane. For sure my next holiday will also be with Emirates:)
