Blocked emails
I bought a combination ticket - for a film and a pizza - but there was some confusion with it. There wasn't any pizza available, and I needed to get another ticket - one without the pizza option. I did this, thinking I'd get the previous ticket refunded, but then there was further confusion. This got stressful and I ended up walking away - having paid for two tickets and a pizza and getting nothing back.
Later, I emailed the cinema. Somebody replied to me, and was very helpful - at first. They offered me a choice between a complete refund and a replacement tickets. This was great. Replacement tickets were exactly what I hoped for.
When I tried to accept the offer, though, I found that my emails were being blocked. No explanation given; just blocked. I sent a couple of other emails over the following months, but had the same result, each time.
This is particularly confusing, because the conversation had been mutually polite, right up to that point. I said nothing to merit being blocked. I was very happy with the way things seemed to be going.
All this happened last July, and I've still not been able to get through.
