Every Interaction Is a Mess

This company has turned what should be a simple, reliable mailing service into a full‑time exercise in frustration. One star feels like charity. Every part of their system behaves like it’s held together with duct tape and guesswork. Labels fail at random, tracking updates are inconsistent or outright wrong, and the interface feels like it was designed by someone who has never actually mailed a package. You’re supposed to get convenience; what you actually get is chaos.

Support somehow manages to be even worse. Every attempt to get help drops you into a maze of canned responses, circular scripts, and representatives who seem determined to avoid solving anything. You can explain the issue in perfect detail and still get a reply that reads like they didn’t bother to read a single sentence. They charge premium rates for bargain‑bin reliability and then act confused when customers expect basic competence.

Using this service feels like being punished for assuming things should work. I’ve had smoother, more predictable experiences at the DMV. At least there, the system is broken in consistent ways. Here, every login is a gamble, every label is a risk, and every support ticket is a reminder that customer care stopped being a priority a long time ago.

If you enjoy malfunctioning features, circular support loops, and paying for the privilege of being ignored, this is the perfect service for you. For everyone else: save your time, your money, and your sanity. There are better options — because at this point, everything is a better option.

Awful

Awful. In so many ways. Their Dazzle software that used to work has so many bugs and they're super slow to fix them if at all. One example: it showed me as having obtained $100 USPS insurance on a shipment. When the package didn't arrive, Endicia said, well even though it clearly shows that on your screenshot of the order, it was a bug and so we can't process the claim. And when they got taken over by stamps.com, now I can't see any of the billing on my account- I'd have to pay extra just to see what they're charging me. I'm switching to a different company.

If I could leave negative stars

If I could leave negative stars, I would. This is the most untrustworthy company. Provide a phone number, use email and texts that are actually able to be delivered. Useless. Use ANYONE but this company.

I hate to even give one star

I hate to even give one star. First I had my account hacked for hundreds of dollars, which was eventually refunded but not for MONTHS...This is an absolute abomination of a company. I am now four months into attempting to get a refund and have been lied to multiple times about them not being able to process the refund to the card they had on file, which works and has miraculously worked every time I needed to ADD FUNDS. Then they said they mailed a check, which has not arrived, six phone calls and still no check. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR MAILING - FIND ANOTHER SOLUTON.

Absolutely terrible

I have over two decades of experience with Endicia and stamps.com. Recently, I reached out to their support to close my account and get a refund for the small credit balance I had. In the nearly 2 weeks since then, their support agent did her darndest to defy my wish to move on. Eventually, I called their support line to finally close the account. And the kicker? It will take 30 days for them to refund the small credit balance on my account. Pathetic. Thank God we have other options.

Yesterday was a postal holiday but we…

Yesterday was a postal holiday but we had over 100 shipments to process. I forgot to run an end of day scan form so I went into Endicia and selected every package we processed yesterday, but the scan form would not print. Was informed that Endicia does not allow you to go back and do a form. My postal carrier is going to be thrilled to have to individually scan 100+ packages today. How hard can that be in the software to be able to do that?

No Refund Provided for 7 Shipments

We had 7 shipments to Puerto Rico to ship, when it should have been only 6. We had no choice but to void the original order and reissue labels. Endicia and the Lutz Post Office decided to ignore the issue entirely, causing us to more than double-pay for our shipments of 6, not 7 (paying for 13 shipments). We wonder why Endicia has this type of rating; in fairness Endicia is our tool, not the Lutz Post Office.

Endicia Fraud

Endicia commits fraud by charging companies they provide shipping services for high priced mail services and substituting a cheaper, slower service in place of the the one that was requested.

I have a mail forwarding service that forwards my US mail to me internationally. I always have the mail sent using USPS International Priority Mail.

My mail forwarder uses the service provided by Endicia, a subsidiary of Stamps.com, for label printing and handling the shipping. Endicia appears to be a corrupt company as rather than ship my package USPS International Priority Mail they shipped it with Globalpost which is about 33% cheaper.

Endicia billed my mail forwarder full USPS price and kept the savings without notifying him. He claims the only way he can detect it was sent using Globalpost is by looking at the tracking number supplied by Endicia. If it starts with the letters CY, it shipped using Globalpost. There were 3 other shipments that day that we're supposed to ship USPS that also shipped GlobalPost. 2 days earlier the same thing happened and all USPS packages shipped using GlobalPost. This is not accidental. It is happening intentionally.

If you order something and it shipped USPS priority mail and the tracking number starts with CY you have likely been cheated on the cost of shipping. The tracking updates on the USPS site will show Globalpost as the shipping partner.

GlobalPost is not part of USPS. They are a separate company and they can ship cheaper because they are a mail consolidator. They consolidate your package with others so they can be sent together and get cheaper rates. The way they do business is very deceiving.

My package that was supposed to be sent using USPS International Priority Mail with 6-10 day delivery has now been sitting at a GlobalPost consolidation center for 18 days. It hasn't left the US yet. It will likely take almost a month to receive this package.

The only reason I detected this is because I am so very accustomed to receiving packages from my mail forwarder using USPS. With a 100% normal USPS shipment, my package leaves the forwarder in florida and 2 days later it is in Miami airport and on a flight to my destination. In the case of this shipment where Globalpost was substituted in place of USPS, the package went to New Jersey. It bounced around back and forth between 4 different locations then finally stopping in South Hackensack, NJ where it has been sitting ever since. It has been 18 days since I shipped the package on the May 14th and it has been 14 days since I received an update on the tracking.

If you are ordering items online and having them shipped internationally using USPS, your chances of being cheated are pretty high. It's not the fault of USPS it's the direct result of the intentional fraud committed by companies like Endicia and others that perform shipping services for company. They simply substitute a cheap, slow service for the expensive USPS service and most people will never know. Globalpost appears to be very much a part of this fraud.

Stamp Refund Ripoff

in order to get a refund on a stamp that prints incorrectly, you need to use a stamp to send them the misprinted stamp...so I waste a stamp to get a refund on a stamp? Bad business. There has to be a better way! We have also been denied refund for sending in partially printed stamps...but that is what printed was a partial stamp that we couldn't use, were charged for and denied a refund.

Endicia: steady decline to unusability

We used Endicia to buy USPS labels for joeveo.com for nearly 10 years under their "Pro" tier ($40/month) and using their "Endicia Professional" software.

The software just got worse and worse: The interface is a mess and it seems every time they tried to fix a bug they added two more.

There is no email support: we've had 2 tickets open for months which haven't been replied to.

We'll be buying labels from Shopify now, and I recommend trying anything but Endicia.

Fraudulent Charges

Have never sought out or worked with this company, but noticed a failed $1 charge on my card today from them. Just glad I caught it before they started upping the dollar amount as others have experienced. Don’t use this card for anything but groceries and bills so I have no idea how they got the information, but I now have to cancel and replace the card.

Endicia has become unreliable…

Endicia has become a completely unreliable shipping partner. Sometimes they work; sometimes they don't.
So much so that I ordered $200 of old fashioned peel and stick stamps from USPS, so that I can keep moving when Endicia fails. Their customer service is very good, but their underlying software development is very bad. To reiterate, Endicia will work great for a week or so, and then fail miserably.

Terrible experience with both…

Terrible experience with both Stamps.com and USPS! We agreed on specific pricing for shipping our packages, confirmed by USPS. After investing time and resources to prepare over 6,500 packages, USPS shockingly reclassified them at a much higher rate per package, resulting in unexpected fees totaling over $17,000! Neither company honored the agreed-upon pricing or addressed this massive discrepancy despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue. When we ask for return money for packages which were not delivered and the amount was paid, they refuse our concern. These companies just steal all our money and do not provide any work. Avoid working with Stamps.com and USPS if you value transparency and fair business practices!

Stampscom/Endicia are frauds

Stampscom/Endicia are frauds...anytime you ship a package, if your dimensions are off ,even slightly, and USPS makes an adjustment to correct it..even if its minute, then Stamps/Endicia will inflate the cost and overcharge you... recent example ...an 8x8x7 priority box weighed 1 lb 6 oz from GA to CA was $13.14... I had incorrectly entered a smaller size...but either size still remained in that price class...yet Stamps/Endicia charged me $68 for that package...they claim USPS charged me that price, but after talking with USPS (verify help) they said they do not charge anything, that its up to the company I purchased the postage through that deals with the cost. So Stamps/Endicia uses this scheme, blames it on USPS ,in order to rip you off..this happens every time..they know they can get away with it,since they blame is placed on USPS. ..by them of course.

Dysfunctional monopoly

The website is completely dysfunctional, just like stamps.com is. I've tried both, and there isn't anyone else. They own the market and don't have to perform. Someone please start up a working postage/UPS site. You can charge more, I promise!!! Just make something that works! Can't log in half the time, spins and spins when trying to create a label. Crazy-making!
