My query was dealt with very quickly, even over a weekend.
Delivery is very quick and the food is well packaged in a box.
I like the presentation and packaging of the products like puppy treats.

Poor Customer Service
The ingredients are high quality but my dog gradually ate less and less to the point of losing some weight. I also tried both the rabbit and boar delight chews and my boy turned his nose up at both.
Reason for the low score is that the customer service isn't great. I was told to “add water” to help him eat. Also the response felt dismissive. It seemed as if could have been contacting any manufacturer. Not the sales pitch in the website.

By adding a little lukewarm water on top of the food, the essential oils and fragrances in the croquette are released. This often gives the dog renewed interest in the meal.

Prices are high but I have in the past been happy because of quality and prompt service. The service has changed recently. Orders are taking longer, there are fewer notifications and on the last order,for the first time, no little gift. Small things but they all add up.
Had very prompt response to my comments which assured me thar normal service will soon be resumed.

Fantastic customer service
I had a problem with ordering because of changes to the company website. When I rang I spoke to Kevin, who kindly cancelled the order I had started, manually created a new order with the correct details and even asked me which free treats my dog likes best to accompany my order. I’ve used this company for 2 years now. The food is full of goodness and the customer service is always excellent. Kevin is brilliant, he really does care about the service provided and nothing is ever too much trouble.

What a great product.
From pup on, our stafford is a troubled eater. After we have tried the Estate Living variant, he eats well every day. Normally he was already fed up with his food after 2 weeks and he didn't eat them anymore, but he has been eating the Estate Living for half a year now without problems. We buy these from the Dutch website thedoglounge, they are the only ones selling this brand in the Netherlands

Excellent help and very good quality natural food
We went to Essential as we had a very lively working cocker who was unable to pit on any weight and was hyperactive to say the least. Our trainer suggested Essential and I spoke with Kevin who has been extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He advised moving away from existing food and using Essential in its various forms and we ended up with the working dog Stamina dry food. It has helped to calm her and we now having adjusted amounts taking into account amount of treats (again from Essential) managed to keep her weight stable. Fabulous help from Kevin and the whole team at Essential. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Website experience frustrating
I've been a loyal customer for a while now, but I'm seriously starting to consider other options due to the ongoing issues with your website.
It's incredibly frustrating to encounter "504 Gateway Time-out" errors when trying to place an order. I expect a 24/7 online service to be, well, actually available! Having to constantly check back to see if the site is working is simply not acceptable.
As someone who works in IT, I know that these kinds of outages can be prevented with proper monitoring and maintenance. I hope you'll address this issue soon as I'd prefer not to take my business elsewhere.
