If you want to use your spending power to change the world for the better then there's no better guide than Ethical Consumer magazine. I've had a subscription for many years now and for less than £30 a year it's helped me revolutionise the way I shop, save and live my life.

Useful magazine in this day and age of consumerism that puts everything back into perspective.
It always arrives on time and it is easy to renew your subscription with no fuss.

I've been a subscriber for many years now. I really appreciate the information that Ethical Consumer provides and working they show behind the results of their research. It has changed the way I buy all sorts of things, from the weekly shop right through to banking and buying a car.

Excellent organisation. Everyone should be aware of it so they can use it if they need to buy something, often reminding us of the importance of thinking whether we really need something, and if we do, whether we could repair, reuse/buy second hand, borrow, make it ourselves, buy locally... while also giving good analyses into all that goes into the making of products.

I have subscribed to Ethical Consumer since it was first published. I find the information extremely useful and balanced. I aspire to be an informed consumer, which I could not be without the information 'behind the scenes' about companies that the Ethical Consumer provides. Good consumer information magazine - 'good' in its ethical sense as well as in its sense of generally worthwhile and efficient at doing what it says on its tin.

The product reviews - or rather the reviews of the companies that make the products - are in-depth, responsive to changing circumstances, and offer a range of information you may never have considered of ethical importance. Other features about, for example, boycotts, financial updates, letters etc, make useful quick reading.

Hard copy and online copy available. Online offers more detail on the companies under scrutiny.

Wouldn't want to be without it, and it complements (and has influenced) Which? interestingly.

Both the web site and the magazine offer excellent information and analysis to help make decisions whether it's which tea to buy or which internet provider to use. Yes it is political and yes it has it's bias but it's a bias for life, for people and for the planet

I couldn't live without Ethical Consumer. it is my trusty guide to all I consume. I love the magazine, for up to date news, boycotts and other information; and I use the online facility a lot to check out the ethics and ownership of goods and services.

Ethical Consumer is a wonderful publication for anyone who wishes to know, company by company, how the items we buy or consume are produced. It allows us to make informed choices based on what policies or procedures we feel are ethically acceptable.
An interesting aspect for me is that the information provided includes the name and description of the major holding companies who own our well-known brands - and this is often quite a revelation.
At a bargain price, I thoroughly recommend Ethical Consumer.

I have always found Ethical Consumer a worthwhile product. It deals with a wide range of goods in a wide ranging way. It's charts are easy to use and the info it gives on various companies puts it all into context.

Ethical Consumer is a truly ethical not-for-profit organisation that can be trusted to give unbiased and informed details on the companies and products that we use every day. Much less short-term focused than Which. Thought-provoking at each point where purchases are being considered.
