No delivery for a month and no refund!

I ordered more than a month ago, and I still didn’t receive my orders which I paid around €140. When I call them they said they started an investigation with PostNL and it will take a week or so, it’s been more than a month and they don’t give my money back. I didn’t receive anything and paid more than €140 . It’s a scam. Their customer service is very bad. One month and no money back! I called them today and waited nearly 20 minutes only to be disconnected from the call. Do not buy anything from Etos.com

The store in Overtoom is NEVER open at…

The store in Overtoom is NEVER open at 9am. Might as well take their opening times off google and their door because they always say “opening later”. Hire more staff or change your opening times. You’re making people wait in the cold or have to come back when we all have jobs we need to get to. Such a good variety or products and close to home but I always have to go to a different store because they always open late.

I’m very disappointed

I’m very disappointed that I did trust Etos to give my baby their milk, one day to another there is a problem in manufacturing the milk, It is sold out, and even can’t let us as client know what is going on, if they will have it again or finish with the product!!!! This is a big fault, baby’s can’t change fooding like that. Babies food is serious. You loose a client and my trust.

Etos has the worst online shopping…

Etos has the worst online shopping service. They do not respect the orders, they send you someone else's order and they do not take responsibility for their mistake, they just tell you "we will refund your money from 7 to 14 days, we do not generate proof of this and we cannot make the correct shipment either, you have to generate a new purchase” Basically they make you waste money, time and energy on something that will never happen. They don't care about the status of the customer, they don't care about taking care of the customer. I hope that the person who received my purchase enjoys it, because what came to me was totally different from what I ordered and of poor quality. I will never buy in your stores again.

Order never arrived neither the refund

Made an order on 27th July, received an email on 1st August from PostNL saying that the order was delivered to my next door neighbour, but no one lives in that house, so that was impossible. I made a complaint on PostNL, they investigate and told me to contact Etos, I did. They told me that they were investigate next to PostNL. A days after informed me that they were refund me. I contact them on 15th August, 22nd August and 29th August and again today.
Until today, 14th September I'm waiting for the refund.

Poor service

ordered medicine and important stuff.
Promise to deliver 1day after I ordered but they move the delivery date 1 more day. when the delivery date come, I received a notification from post nl that our address is wrong and the package will not be delivered.

with all trouble, we didn't get the package and had to wait 14 days to get a refund.

Etos only allow positive comments for their products

I am very disappoint with the after sale service of ETOS. Etos covered real comments for products. The comments on website are quite positive because they have a screening system. The story is on below.

I have bought a shampoo bar from ETOS last month. turned out the product was very bad. I left an one star comment on their official website. The comment was not approved with no reason. The comment didnt mention anything about service or price which the policy for rating is not allowed.

I contacted the customer service. They didnt tell me the reason why my comment was not allowed to be public. They suggested to send me a 5euro coupon in 10 days to compensate. I received nothing in 3 weeks. No other follow up at all.

Completely overpriced, removed review

Completely overpriced. Bought a kneipp bathsalt for relaxing. After I saw that the same product is available at other stores for less than 50 percent, 4.95 eur instead of 10.95 EUR, I wrote a review. Etos did not publish the review. I gave the product five stars but the price 1 star. Seems they didn't like that. Just order on Amazon.de. Better service and way cheaper

I am very disappointed!

I am very disappointed with Etos and their work policy.
I was often shopping there and I have just returned from my last shopping in Etos.
I have bought Etos Sun Protection Losion in spray spf 50 x 2 pcs.
After I have finished shopping and standing near the store I trying losion one time on my hand, just to make sure that everything is ok.
But on my surprise losion have milk texture, not losion texture.
So after a few minutes I returned to the shop and ask can I return the products and exchange it for a some other losion in spray but from different brand, and girl who workers there said that I can't do that because I have used the product.
Point is that I returned after just a few minutes, and I couldn't possibly know that is milk in the bottle until I have tried it.
And there is no tester to try the product in the store.
I will share this negative experience where ever I can because I feel very much disappointed and even tricked.

Awful service

Etos claims to deliver products the next working day if you buy them online before 10pm. It has been a week for me, no package no update no follow up. I tried to contact and request help and only got a lousy response without any effort to understand what the problem is or how they can help me to sort it out. Not the first time with similar issues. Definitely not worth to spend any money on etos

I was an employee from the webshop…

I was an employee from the webshop orderpicking warehouse. So, here is how a day would go.
You arrive 5 minutes early, I, was on the evening shift, so 2.30pm until 11pm. You would have your shift meeting, where a team leader would regularly tell you not to do something or if you do this, you are gone (threats of being fired were often), then we would go start picking, packing or dealing with the outgoing packages and restock...in general, these are not hard jobs and can be very pleasant to do and you feel accomplished but you weren't aloud to talk, you were told to go faster and any putting it simply, the amount of work done faster is more important than quality of the work done but you better make sure you do that too because you will get fired.

We would have a 15 minute break and then back to work, you CAN'T be late back unless you are directly related to the team leader or a very close friend, then no one says anything, food is NOT permitted outside of the canteen, especially in the work area or team leaders office, neither are personal phones unless you are a team leader, then you can eat in your office and use your personal phone all the time.

No additional cigarette breaks are aloud, unless you are a team leader and go in a no smoking area by the docks with the manager, then it's okay and just as an additional security measure, a particular team leader would be watching everyone on the cameras as much as they could, if you were not working enough, they would storm over to you and shout.

Once, I was packing these massive orders of baby things (diapers, food, powder etc), I wanted to ensure the job was done well and with care, also that everything was correct but I got shouted at for being too slow, so speed over quality is the priority for this company.

Refunds, don't bother...wrong items sent to you, damaged items on arrival, your problem now! Refunds would take weeks or months after arrival, depending on how busy it was.

We would only get two 15 minute breaks and no lunch break, you would either need to eat midday or around 11:30 to midnight and don't think about free time because you work 5-6 days a week but at least the bonus pay is worth it I guess, that was the only good thing really.

Equipment that is meant to be legally supplied by the company was in short demand, as were heavy lifting vehicles, Etos would steal everyone else's equipment when they could, even stealing a ladder from an external contractor (the manager did that)

Legally, you are only aloud to lift or move 25kg by yourself but in Etos, we were expected to move hundreds of Kg, even up to 500kg on day because of hand soap (Not exaggerating) but 100kg to 300kg was common and you could get help from some one but usually you would be shouted at for not working, being too slow or wasting time if you would wait for help.

Health inspections are the only time we would clean everything to achieve a high standard but after that, we would do basic cleanup and ignore all the dust on things like baby food and medicines until it was being sent to a customer, then we would wipe it off quickly.
Oh and rats were a common sight too, many of my colleagues have seen them but I guess the small bug zappers dealt with them too.

Fire safety wasn't usually ignored but if we ran out of space due to the terrible planning between Etos and the warehouse, fire safety space was sometimes a second priority.

Lastly, being covered in cuts and bruises was extremely common and I still have images of this time, so happy I left but I am sad for the good people and certain team leaders that work there.

I've been keeping this to myself for some time

I have not had a good experience buying…

I have not had a good experience buying from Etos. Products targeting the black population are double tagged, which is not a problem for me...but 3 times already my bag alarms at the exit... if you are going to add security measures on some products have the decency to check them out completely when a customer purchases it.
