I have been a loyal customer of this dealership centre for over five years, and I have even purchased my car from them, which makes this recent experience on 8th June even more disappointing.
I originally booked my car service after being quoted £169, only to find out on the payment that would actually cost £220 — with absolutely no prior warning or explanation regarding this price increase.
Secondly, I dropped my car off at 8:00am and was told it would be ready by 12:00pm. However, by 11:00am, I checked the progress tracker and saw that no work had even started on my car. It was only after I complained shortly before midday that work finally began. In the end, my car was not ready until 2:15pm, over two hours later than promised. This caused me unnecessary travel expenses and made me late for work as I had to make alternative arrangements.
To make matters worse, despite paying more than originally quoted and receiving delayed service, I never received the usual vehicle health check video or report, which is normally an important part of the service and helps customers understand the condition of their vehicle.
I emailed customer service the same day requesting a refund and asking for the missing inspection documents. It has now been nearly a week, and I have been completely ignored. The lack of communication has been shocking.
It is very clear this site is overbooking service slots and relying on customers’ goodwill, regardless of the inconvenience caused. While I was there, I noticed several other customers also waiting far longer than expected for their cars to be completed.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience with poor management, poor communication, and unacceptable customer service. After five years of loyalty, I will not be returning, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before using this location.

Ordered a key blade over a week ago, phonesd today and got rold by another bloke they don't do them but if they did they'd need log book, license ID etc. All fair enough, but he refused to give me any option on how to get the process started.
He then put the phone down on me because I said it was a joke (admittedly I did use an expletive but I'm Autistic and this unfortunately does in my case means I get over emotional sometimes.)
Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere and get better service.

I experienced issues shortly after purchasing the vehicle two years ago, and unfortunately another serious issue has only recently come to light following a tyre blowout. When attempting to access the spare wheel mounted underneath the vehicle, I discovered it was secured with a locking mechanism for which no key had ever been supplied.
Given that I was assured the vehicle had undergone a thorough inspection prior to sale, I find it very concerning that an inaccessible spare wheel was apparently never identified. A spare wheel is of little use in an emergency if it cannot actually be accessed.
What has been even more disappointing is the response from the dealership. Despite the issue clearly existing at the point of sale, I have now been quoted £240 + VAT to remove the lock and have effectively been told this is my responsibility. At no stage during the purchase, handover, servicing, or MOT appointments was I informed that a separate locking key even existed.
I also continue to pay for the service and MOT package sold to me by the dealership, which makes the lack of accountability and customer support even harder to understand.
Overall, this experience has left me with very little confidence in both the vehicle preparation standards and the aftersales customer care provided. As a result, I now intend to sell the vehicle and avoid both Ford and Evans Halshaw in future.
If anyone would like further information about my experience, feel free to leave a comment and I would be happy to provide an update. i would advise DO NOT DEAL WITH WOLVERHAMPTON EVANS HALSHAW in particular their commercial vehicles manager trust me I have extensive experience. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED POST SALES.

Recently purchased a used car from Evans Halshaw, Wolverhampton. I don't change my car very often, in fact the last time was 10 years ago, so I was concerned about any pitfalls or issues. The sales executive, Liz, was extremely helpful without being pushy, explaining the process which had changed since my last purchase. There was a minor fault on the vehicle and Liz arranged to get it repaired sooner than expected. Liz had a good knowledge of the cockpit and explained various aspects of the instruments. Overall the experience was good and if all the sales executives at EH are that efficient I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I recently purchased a car from Evans Halshaw Wolverhampton and even though I live over 100 miles away everything ran smoothly.
I had several conversations with Liz who kept me posted with regards to the minor cosmetic repairs that needed carrying out prior to the car being 'customer ready'.
I have used Evans Halshaw for three previous purchases and have always been happywith the service.

Sadly the sales “gentleman” felt the need to state that the car I was looking to purchase “wouldn’t be feasible” and that I would be “hard pushed to be accepted for finance or a loan” despite not knowing my financial situation or even enquiring about my income/doing any finance checks. Not sure if this was to do with me being a woman and looking at a sports car?

Evans Halshaw arranged collection of my vehicle and the service driver called me the day before the booking with a time to expect him to arrive, during the MOT and inspection I was informed what extra work was suggested by the service team, and I was quoted for the work, I was informed when the MOT was finished, also when the extra work was carried out and when my car would be returned to me, really pleased.

Stay away from this place if you have any disabilities and looking to purchase a car on motor bility … I will be taking this as high as possible and contacting PIP to inform them of how derogatory their one particular member of staff is at Ford Wolverhampton … as a person visiting this show room with my husband we were looking forward to hopefully purchasing a vehicle from here … these days cars are hybrid electric etc and we have never used a car like this so was hoping to get some insight into them … as soon as we walked into the garage we were met by a man no morning etc which ok isn’t a big deal … we went on to say which car we were thinking of looking at he pointed ‘over there’ … as soon as we mentioned Motorbility his demeanour was worse than when we walked in he stood at his laptop eyes on that not even giving eye contact my partner asked what deposit a certain car required his reply “you’ll have to wait I’ll look’ I walked away not wanting to ask him where his manners were … my partner joined me the sales guy didn’t follow … my partner went over to the desk and started telling him quickly about the difference bombarding him my partner asked him a question and he rolled his eyes and said ‘I’ve just told u’ I joined my partner seeing my partner looking distressed .. I just said how long would it take to get the car his reply ‘this month’ I said so if we wanted the new plate (I no this comes out 1st March) but wanted to continue with does it take longer as it’s a new plate etc his reply ‘well be next month wouldn’t it!’ At this point I was going to lose my rag so I walked out letting him know he was rude… Not every illness is visible if you talk to someone who is looking for your professional opinion you take time effort and manners this is when dealing with anyone you come into contact with absolutely disgusting

I bought a car in September 2025 from Evan’s Halshaw Wolverhampton. At first the customer service was good and there was no problems with buying the car. When I bought the car there was an interior part missing which was spoke about when purchasing and I even signed something to make sure I would get the part as part of the purchase. I have rang multiple times getting told multiple mixed messages and it is now 5 months later and I still don’t have the part and no update from the company. I got told they couldn’t source the part to which I told there was multiple online to purchase and even had to send a link to the eBay for them to purchase but yet still no part. This has really disappointed me as I paid a high amount of money to not get a part I was promised. The part that is missing costs over £100 which is a large amount of money for me to purchase myself when it was promised as part of the car.
The customer service since purchasing the car has been really poor when contacting the company which has ruined the experience and put my off using Evans Halshaw again.
I have also just had the service light come on my car, which was never mentioned when purchasing the car as I was under the impression it had just been serviced which is now another expense after only 5 months.

I had a second outstanding experience with the service at Evans Halshaw Ford Wolverhampton. This time, I was dealing with another serious coolant leak after breaking down on the M5 late at night. My car was towed to Evans Halshaw, and the following morning I went to the garage, dropped off my keys, and asked that they be handed to the service team on Monday when they reopened so they could diagnose the coolant issue.
They quickly identified the problem and replaced the thermostat within just two days, which really impressed me with their efficiency. I had explained that I have carer responsibilities, and they kindly escalated the priority of my repair.
For the second time, Amy offered me a six-month interest-free payment plan, and when I asked whether there was any possibility of reducing the overall cost, she said she would see what she could do. In the end, a discount was applied, which made me feel genuinely valued as a customer.
When I collected my car, I was greeted warmly and all the paperwork was ready. I also learned that during my previous visit they had changed my brake fluid, which further impressed me.
The customer service I received on my second visit matched — and even surpassed — my first, which was already fantastic. Amy and every team member I interacted with were approachable, empathetic, and highly professional. I do have one more issue to resolve, so I will be returning to the dealership in the new year.

Did an online enquiry for a car I was interested in. The next morning had a phone call from a salesperson named Kaitlin Hill who was following up my enquiry etc. I advised them of my situation as I have a car to P/X so she said she'll email with the details she requires to get a valuation etc. So emailed them back a few hours later and have had absolute radio silence back from them. I can see from their website that the car I was interested in has now disappeared so must've been sold. I have no issue with this if someone beat me to it, but where's the common courtesy to let me know? Need less to say I'll be avoiding this dealership and I've probably dodged a bullet as if this is the customer service that they provide to a prospective customer, I imagine it would be even worse once they've got your money..

Purchased a new ford transit custom crew cab. It was booked in for numerous faults less than 1 year old. Ford had the vehicle for a week and did not rectify many faults. I had to chase them for updates, they didn't even call when my vehicle was ready despite knowing i was needed it asap.
When I collected the van it had been damaged in many places by Ford. Damage was emailed to customer services on 6th October as requested by a man at the desk. No reply after many emails and phone calls. When I mentioned going legal only then did he reply to my email on 14th. Many emails sent my myself replying to this and still no reply until 22nd, (same email as the last) Ford are not willing to send me their video of when my van arrived without the damaged they just want to book it back in but not happy to discuss the faults or damage (suspicious).
When trying to call customer service to get booked back in most phone calls are ignored! My van is now unsafe to drive and I cannot get hold of Ford.
Van started to make an awful grinding sound after a few days of having the van back. The AA told me the van was not safe to drive and recovered it to Ford Wolverhampton. I haven't had a single call from them. I have called every day for 2 weeks. Managed to get through once and apparently they were waiting on parts and it would be 3- 5 days. That was a week ago now and still no phone call from Ford Wolverhampton. They do not answer the phones when I attempt to call for an update. They do not reply to emails. Im an hour away so not local enough just to pop by.
Do not expect any communication from these guys. You have to chase them constantly!
I do not expect such shocking customer service from Ford. I will not be purchasing from this business again. Absolute joke of a company, no after care for customers. Avoid!
