I came into the showroom needing a new car as soon as possible! Was quite anxious at first but the lads in the showroom were so nice and helped me throughout! Ashley was so helpful and sorted me one there and then! So thankful and grateful!

I was impressed with the service I got at Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Wigan branch, and Peter Mills in particular, when I went to view a well priced used Skoda. I had put a holding deposit down 3 days before and Peter had sent me a good video. The car was ready for viewing and test drive on arrival and Peter answered all of my many questions thoroughly and didn’t pressurise me at any point. Whilst I eventually didn’t buy the car, and had my deposit returned, I was left thinking that I would go back when I’m next looking. It seemed that the team are interested in both parties being satisfied and not just focussing on their side of a sale. That’s unusual, in my experience, and refreshing.

I have just had my car in for its yearly service and the team at evans halshaw Wigan looked after me and my car wonderfully! Service went smoothly and they even cleaned my car which as a lovely surprise!! I definitely recommend them!!

I used Evans to service my car and then decided to upgrade and part exchange. All staff very helpful. Liam Aspey was excellent in exploring different options and explaining the deals on offer. James from new car sales and the service team, Doreen, Hayley, Megan and Kyle all welcomed me on various visits. Great team

The pick up and drop off service was essential as I am disabled, they give the car a courtesy clean also.

They have a dedicated motability specialist called Lee. Lee made the whole process of ordering and picking my new car up such an easy, fast process. Lee was so helpful and knowledgeable and enabled me to get the car I wanted. I can't thank Lee enough as I changed my mind on which car I wanted and Lee was great at letting me change my mind and helped to get the car I wanted. This is my 3rd car from the Wigan branch and I would highly recommend the branch due to friendly staff and fantastic cars.

I've been with Evans Halshaw on their service plan for a few years now. The service is exceptional. I have completed peace of mind having the option of them collecting my car for service and mot. The reports are thorough and its great you can split payments over several months if work is needed. They are proactive and always send a reminder when the service is due.

I like the idea of a video which gave you a commentary of things that required attention. The service was done in a professional manner no problems with that side of It. The reason I gave 3 stars was that I had a phone call from Evans Halshaw Wigan and stated I needed to replace my front discs on my insignia as there was lipping on both. I asked how much this would cost I was told £758 I couldn't believe it would cost that. Then I was told they can do it for £428 I said I would get a quote from another garage then I got told they could do it for £378. Unbelievable how can a company all of a sudden give you three different prices and knock the price down so much. If I would have said yes to the first price they would have got £758 out of me 😱

I have had the most difficult past couple of days with Arnold Clark.
They have really screwed me over. I came here to look for an alternative, more reliable garage. I found this, and I found Ashley.
I have never felt more respected, secure and understood ever. I couldn’t fault a single person in the building. And I also couldn’t recommend these guys enough!
