Bought everyday surge protected with usb ports two plug port and brilliant still going, actually bought three nobody had issues
Bought a 3 pack of button batteries for a game box. The packaging is not only child proof, but people proof! Took a pair of scissors, a box cutter and 3 people to get them out. Ridiculous!
bought 10 times 9 Volt Battery, but not only one is working for my device.
I don't buy eveready again.
Bought Ever Ready branded domestic
double 240v plug socket with usb plug
Impossible to fit as wire fitment points on socket are badly placed
Instead of all top of socket facing for ease of doing up screws, there is one fitment at base with impossible to get at screw, another fitment is angled down to the side, again making it very difficult to tighten screw holding wires.
Very badly designed so have thrown in bin
I have had an Eveready Energy Vault as my home battery for almost 5 years now (with an extension pack that is just over 4 years old). I have had multiple call outs under warranty every year that I have had this battery and I worry what will happen in a few years when the warranty expires. About 4 months ago, the battery stopped working properly (I think it's the extension, given the pattern that is happening). My installer has been fantastic trying to get it solved. Unfortunately Eveready has not been getting back to them or working to solve the problem. If the manufacturer won't get in contact with the installer, what hope is there for me to have a fully working battery again?
When you are looking to install a home battery with the new rebates, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The Eveready battery is not worth it.
Perhaps on reading this review, Eveready will think about doing what they are supposed to do in terms of their warranty.
Difficulty with opening hearing aid battery packages. With arthritis it is difficult to hold and squeeze scissors to open the package. Need to develop a "pill splitter" type of product to open packages.
They hearing aid batteries are now in packaging that are child-proof that is great BUT as a senior who lives alone the packaging is nearly impossible to open even with scissors.
I carry a pack with me in my purse and don’t have scissors when I’m out and there is no predicting when my batteries will fail, then I can’t replace them.
Surge protected 6 plug extension load of rubbish how are plug sockets that don't hold the plug securely safe the plugs lean sideways at to a massive extent not safe for electrical devices avoid at all cost bnm an all this chinesh trash bins should be investigated an shut down this isn't everyrady it's a name that bnm bought just like Goodman's an some other old companies disgusting shop disgusting use of once trusted brands names
I have had to buy 2 packs of remote plug sockets. I now have a spare controller as you only get 2 sockets per controller and the controller takes 4 sockets. Why cant they sell 4 sockets in a pack or sell them individually without the controller?
Light failed after using for 2 winters, shop says it has no guarantee and the 15 year product life on the box means nothing.
Bought eveready extension with 6 sockets says surge protected, I only had one plug in it sparked and burnt some of the plug in early morning dangerous could have set house alight.
Brandon Davis came to my house to fix a broken water pipe near my meter! He was tremendous! So nice and professional! On time and communicated thoroughly with me what was going on! Fixed the pipe and I was do happy! He can come to my house every single time I have an issue!
I've 2 4 packs of AA's and 1 4 pack of AAA's that tout a 10 year guarantee. All three have begun to leak in unopened package. Registered complaint 10 days ago and no response yet received. Customer service is apparently non-existent.
I have never had to deal with a complaints department as utterly useless as eveready. I bought 2 x 24 packs of AA and AAA, the latter unused. The AA have next to no life in the batteries and need to be replaced not long after they have been installed. I have been communicating via email, about 10 so far and they keep going round in circles asking for pics that I have already sent and they have acknowledged receipt. Will never buy Eveready again
i bought two oven lamps put one in after taken old one out it blue straight away so i tryed the next one its lasted for five month i always thought that everready was a good company what waste of time i cant get the money back from shop were i bought them from what a waste of time they say you get 1year out of bulb no you dont imin for one and five month for other very poor.had no reply from this company dont buy from them crap merchandise.
very dangerous extension leads sold in B&M apparently surge proof, but not. Melted socket and plug which could had caused a house fire, not overloaded as only two chargers in the 6 sockets were used but damaged wall socket, iphone 14 and condenser.
Item taken back to store to get removed from shelves
I put a PP3 EverReady battery in my smoke alarm in October 2021. I always label with date. This morning the alarm started beeping to indicate low battery. This afternoon the beeps increased, so I changed the battery. Very disappointed. A poor product.
Bought two 48 packs at home depot of AA batteries most of the batteries were dead or dying , They wanted serial numbers pictures of the batteries dates and lot numbers i tried to explain i dont take pics with my phone i rely on a brand name as i am housebound , But to spend almost 40 dollars Home Depot said its a issue to take up with Eveready and package was open . Use to be a time when you could trust a company to do right Switching to Duracell
