I don't think our bottle of Exeter Rum will last until Christmas, perfect for the winter months, the caramel/ toffee undertones gave us a lovely warm glow!! Well Done guys - We Love It!

Great experience with wonderful people. Although everyone else had bailed, we had the place to ourselves. The husband and wife team were very attentive. Knowledgeable and interesting as they showed us around the stills! We have been to a few gin schools before but still learned new things.

Very knowledgeable team of Karen and Mick welcomed us, explaining how/why/when Exeter Gin came about. The Gin making process was carefully explained before we went upstairs to sample their wares. We were then talked through how to use our individual stills, taught how to choose the ingredients (botanicals) , and then watched our stills as the temperature rose and our version of a gin dripped into a vase. We were encouraged to taste the drips as the temperature stabilised, and learned how the flavours changed as the process progressed. Finally, after measuring the strength of our gin, we were shown how to gradually bring this down to an acceptable level. We produced our own bottle of gin with it’s unique flavours, such an interesting afternoon. Thoroughly recommend this experience.

Karen was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at ease. Her husband Mick really knew his stuff when showing us the making process and history of gin. Then upstairs for the gin tasting experience with Karen. She went through each gin with us & we even got the bonus new rum they have produced. She made us feel part of her gin family - it was an excellent couple of hours and I would definitely recommend this tour/tasting experience. Thanks Karen & Mick 😁

Really enjoy the varieties of Gin this small family business makes. Thought I would give this new product a try.
WOW its spot on, they even advised on a few mixers to try it with. My favorite was with a splash of ginger ale.

Amazing afternoon making Gin with lovely people.it was a lot more hands on than other ‘experience’ days and I’m so pleased with my product.

The session was pitched at the right level with information on how gin is made but also it allowed us to experiment with flavours that we felt would be unique to ‘our’ gin.

Lovely unexpected setting and plenty of tasting. Would love to come back again soon

Had a great experience tasting lots of gin and even the new rum (which we did buy a bottle of) Karen was a great hostess and we could of stayed all night drinking gin and chatting. Well

This Gin School experience was a gift and not something I had ever considered doing. However it was a fabulous afternoon. Very educational and informative as well as being fun! Sampled lots of different gins and then after some coaching we created our own gin using botanicals in our own little stills. At the end you get to sample your own gin and take home a bottle. A great fun afternoon. Would highly recommend as something different to do!
