Super service

Super service, right from my initial phone call after the new year. The gents were really busy but managed to take a look at my broken exhaust the following morning. The problem was diagnosed after a really brief discussion with the technician & confirmed once they were under the car. A quick phone call later & the work had been done & my car was ready collect later that day. Great all 'round service & I will certainly be back. The guys even leant me their glasses as i'd left my specs behind! Thanks, gents.

Honest/accurate/reliable/reasonably priced

A couple of months ago I had an warning light come on. I got it checked out by another garage and they said it was either a sensor after the cat was faulty or the cat itself. Then driving back from Scotland I found out the real problem. My exhaust decide to tear itself a new one. I've always used exhaust-a-fix as I found their prices are reasonable and their assessments to be accurate & honest.
The bloke who checked the exhaust found it was the back box that was at fault & recommended the centre section be done too as it wasn't far behind. He also spotted that my front two tyres were close to the legal limit and that I should look to get them sorted soon.
Now I'm not stupid, I know some places 'big up' the job. They talk themselves into more work.
However, I was allowed to have a look underneath and he was right, spot on. I actually had about 1mm left. The cat is original & still in good order (phew).
So I booked it in for the following week. In the meantime I rang around and got quotes for tyres. It was like comparing apples and oranges. I would have saved only a couple of quid, only to spend it on petrol driving across town to go get them sorted. No point, so I added the to the job list.
All done now, I can rest easy. 💆
I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. 👍
I will continue to use again.
