Very Bad Customer Service – Avoid Exotic Superstore

Almost two months ago, I placed an online order with Exotic Superstore, and DPD delivered the parcel to the wrong address. On the very same day, I raised a complaint. Exotic customer service assured me they would raise the matter with DPD, and if DPD admitted fault, I would receive a refund.

A few days later, DPD confirmed in writing that they had delivered to the wrong address. Despite this, Exotic continued to delay my refund. First, they told me DPD needed to sign a letter accepting responsibility, which DPD did. Then Exotic changed the process again, saying I needed to sign a letter from DPD. When I asked for the letter, Exotic claimed DPD had already sent it directly to me more than a week ago — but I never received anything.

This entire situation has been nothing but passing responsibility back and forth between Exotic and DPD, while I, the customer, am left to suffer the consequences. I paid for a product, never received it, and instead of resolving the issue quickly, Exotic Superstore has made me chase after answers with no proper support.

To make matters worse, they hardly respond to calls or emails, and instead of taking ownership, they keep shifting blame.

⚠️ Warning to other customers: If your parcel is misdelivered, be prepared for a long, stressful process with no guarantee of refund or replacement. Exotic Superstore and DPD both failed to provide even the most basic level of customer service.

I strongly advise anyone thinking of ordering from this company to reconsider — their after-sales service is extremely poor, and once they have your money, you are left helpless if anything goes wrong.

Good customer service

Good customer service. Low priced Indian groceries and one day delivery. Would definitely recommend for any online shoppers.
The guys reached me about my order as soon as I raised a query. So customer centric website, and are ready to accept feedbacks. Requested for few more groceries that were not available in their website and they promised to stock at the earliest. So would highly recommend it for anyone who looks for online grocery shopping.

These people are making a killing…

These people are making a killing during the Coronavirus crisis. The price of Indian vegetables has skyrocketed to £12/kg and they blame the wholesalers for this. There is enough supply of vegetables but hiking prices is not justified. The price of vegetables in India hasn't risen to this level. Price of rice, flour (atta), etc has gone up by about 50%. Remember this virus doesn't know boundaries, cultures, businesses etc and karma awaits.
