They say I have to pay £5 to be connected to a lawyer. I did as they said it would be refunded. Erm, it wasn't. Next they automatically subscribe you to the monthly payment system. This is £35 per month. I asked for a refund on the basis of not being made aware of this monthly plan and I was refunded 50% of the payment. I was told I'd get a full refund but then again they didn't do as they said regarding the £5 connection fee. Terrible
What a great thing these guys are doing. A legal expert at the other end of your keyboard.! You're not paying to subsidise the receptionist, the leather chairs, the smell of fresh coffee.! And you'll often get a reply out of office hours, even at a weekend if they're about
There's a list of amounts you'd be willing to pay for the advice you need. Be sensible and fair, you know the afore mentioned high street Solicitors will charge a ridiculous fee. You'll make a good saving , + once you're with them you can go back again as things develop.
As a 'Solicitor' he didn't even understand P60s.
When requested a refund, you have to choose from a drop down menu, 'General Enquiry, Request a Refund etc.' I selected the refund tab. I tried to submit my form 4 times and it kept coming up with the error 'Needs a Username' which I entered every single time. I selected 'General Enquiry' and it went through first time with the same username - this is their way of getting people to give up for a refund.
DO NOT USE this service.
A company that a tells you it's going to give you free advice and then doesn't is .... not a company to be trusted I think! On the side a box which says: How does it work? Ask your question. An Expert Answers. Accept Your Answer. Talk 1-2-1 with the Expert. But before you get to the second bit you are asked to pay something between £20 and £200! I leave you to work out what sort of outfit this is!
