All about subscription and money

You supposedly get a "contact request for a CFO position" but to get to know details about the job you need to sign up to a subscription plan.
And you keep getting reminders about "the contact request for a CFO" - so far "they" have waited for a month so I expect they found someone else.
I doubt anyone got a serious job out of this website

I requested refund as the service…

I requested refund as the service provided did not meet my expectation especially when came to my industry. None of the jobs listed were available. Although it took a month I did receive a refund.

Worse than worthless. Negative value because of spam.

Worse than worthless. Negative value because of spam. I don't know who runs this website but it is completely useless and sends you useless results and spam. They also hide the unsubscribe and account delete with small text and hard-to-find navigation to make it difficult for you to get rid of them. Don't sign up in the first place, and if you do get tricked into getting an account, make sure you log in and delete your account. LinkedIn is the best job search website by far in my personal opinion, but almost any free jobs website will be better than Experteer.

Avoid Experteer

I signed up for Experteer special offer giving 6 month package for £37 which I consciously signed up for. They automatically signed me up for auto-renewal because that was some hidden small print in their sign-up page, I was never given option not to sign auto renewal. I soon found they are completely useless and had no intention to renew (I was ready to forgo my £37), however they charged me with much higher amount (£65) after 6 months without informing me and strangely they did not even inform me AFTER deducting my payment. They have 14 day clause where you can argue about amount deducted but I did not even get that chance. 2 months later I found it through my card statement and they refused to refund pointing to small print. I am not sure how they are allowed to operate in UK with this model. I hope consumer protection service does something about this as it is clearly an unethical practice. I have no doubt this they are fleecing many other customers in the same way. Avoid this useless service

Regarding the 14 days period, kindly please note that it does not apply to the renewal of the membership, it only applies to the initial purchase as stated in our Terms and Conditions.

Strongly recommend to avoid

Strongly recommend to avoid.

I would strongly recommend against Experteer. Not only is the site not useful, they have a practice of deducting money without warning and refer to some fineprint to justify the withdrawals. To me this is in extremely poor ethics that they have which borders on fraud.

Avoid at all cost!

I see you from your email if I avail service of 189 €, I will get an interview email for sure. But the question is, I have the necessary skills in IT technical with 4 years of experience, but now I wanted to get into management roles. Can you help me with this? I have full potential to give the best, but I am not being interviewed for the roles I have been applying for. Can you help me with as many interviews as possible? Can you help me with job offers? Please confirm?

Waste of time and money

Waste of time and money. I think it is a rip off. I don´t remember to have contracted them 18 months ago. Now they want me to pay 195 €. I have told them I want to unsuscribe and there is no way to stop receiving the emails and they keep asking me to pay the money. I have requested to delete my data and to stop sending emails to me. They responded that I need to pay them 195 € and they will repay so I will be ONLY charged 59.95 and they cancel my membership in October. But, to charge only 59.95, they want me to pay first 195 €. They are not following Spanish Law nor GDPR.
I see that the responses to all the reviews is the same. They only want the money without doing any professional job.

Avoid! These are Scammers.

This Organisation is a scam and should be reported to the trading standards and action fraud Organisation. They have nothing to offer and are simply ripping off subscribers.

Experteer's customer service representative Romana followed up on my compliant and we could negotiate a settlement where I received part refund of the fees.
Customer service representative was engaged throughout the long process and was responsive.

I would rather stick with Linkedin than fall into the trap of tall claims made by Experteer.
Please be aware there is this Auto Renewal which they claim is available on sign up page but how can a sane person remember it after 3 months or so.
They give false claims that they give notice about auto renewal however it is definitely in such way that user is most like end up paying more than what one needs.
There is no benefit that one will get from this website.

Kindly explain why the subscription cannot be cancelled on the first day of the subscription.

Like with all goods and services there is always a cooling off period where customer is allowed to change their mind. Unfortunately it seems Experteer does value such practices.

Here is not a case that I am in middle of my subscription period and then want to cancel the subscription midway. I am telling on day 1 that I do not need your services and so you should not charge me for it.

It is very transparent and you can cancel the Premium service at any time either in your account or by writing an email to us. As you did not cancel it before the renewal date, the Premium membership was extended.

However, Experteer tries to offer solutions to customers that did not cancel on time. Our Support Team has already arranged an aggrement with you in order to shorten your membership.

I would not recommend this company in…

I would not recommend this company in any shape or form. They are only interested in taking your money. And do so by auto renewing (no reminders or check offs that you wish to continue with the membership - at whatever level). When you then state you don’t want with membership they refer to the multiple pages of T&Cs and demand payment….or else!!. Really disappointing - they have no clue on customer requirements or satisfaction.
