I would 100% recommend using Exploriente travel agency. Kervin and Karja are the absolute best. I planned a 40th bday extravaganza to Bali and Thailand and the amount of attention and time both took to help make this an epic trip was unbelievable.

My trip was custom made we spent a few weeks putting it together. We worked together for 10 months on this. Every hotel, every tour, every flight and tour guide was magnificent they truly know Asia inside and out.

All of the recommendations were fantastic. Both Kervin and Karja were always available whenever I needed them throughout the whole process the attention to detail was uncanny! When I tell you I had one of the best trips of my life I did.

I would use them 1000% times over. I'm high strung and they were very patient with me. I had the best trip ever!!!!!

Private three week trip to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand was well crafted. Logistics and guides were near perfect. I would highly recommend them. Kervin was easy to talk to and responsive to our questions. Our desire to experience the rich cultures of these countries was met.

Explorient Travel Services created a Tokyo itinerary and lodging customized to our interests and tastes. We have worked with Kervin before, and each time we have felt we have his undivided attention and concern for detail. Seamless airport-to-lodging logistics. Explorient identified perfect lodging in the right neighborhoods to serve our interests. They contracted with a guide service that selected *excellent* guides. Kervin has now planned two totally custom solo trips for my husband and myself, first to Thailand five years ago and now Japan. He is especially in tune with my accomodation tastes and even managed to get us in one of the hardest to book Ryokans in Japan for an incredible 3 night stay.

Kervin is also fun to talk with on the phone and always has time for lengthy discussions of our trip plans and specific needs.

Working with Kervin and his team at Explorient Travel Services was one of the best decisions. Typically I would figure things out on my own if traveling alone and it's part of the adventure of trying to figure things out. However, we were traveling with a large group each having different sets of criteria and travel experience. Kervin was able to put together a great itinerary mixing variety of activities, great hotel selections and most importantly his relationship with local agents selected to help on the ground. We had a wonderful time throughout our trip knowing that things were prearranged and taken care of for us. The local guides were quite wonderful. They were the best part of trip. They were so helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly patient with our group. They were able the pace the trip so everyone had a great time. Again, they were amazing! We were pleased with the manner in which all of our tour guides and drivers were welll informed and on time. All of the recommended hotels were perfect. This was our first trip to this part of the world, although we have traveled to over 15 countries outside of the United Sates. Our tour planner was very accommodating in listening to our requested changes in the itinerary. At each of our 4 stops we had a uniquely enjoyable experience.

I looked up 5-6 different travel agencies before going and I was so glad I ended up choosing Explorient for me and my wife's first anniversary trip. I was hesitant to travel to a destination where I don't speak the language or read the alphabet, but Kervin and the Explorient team were so patient and knowledgable in their ability to plan a great getaway. From making sure our dietary restrictions were met at all the hotel sites, to on-time pick ups/drop offs of every tour guide/transfers, it was one of the smoothest trips I have ever taken. Kervin made sure the itinerary was a perfect way to maximize our time overseas, and not be too worn out by allowing days to do our own thing, mixed with our private tour guides/packages. I have already recommended Explorient to my family members traveling later in the year, and will definitely recommend it to others traveling overseas!

We visited Tokyo (4 nights) and Kyoto (3 nights) using Explorient to book all arrangements (hotels, tours and rail transfers). We enjoyed the trip, all bookings were efficiently made and everything worked as expected. In particular, Explorient's local agent quickly sorted out a misunderstanding at the Grand Nikko Daiba concerning our baggage transfer to Kyoto. A few points:

Whilst the Okura hotel in Kyoto was excellent, the Grand Nikko Daiba in Tokyo was a major disappointment. The Nikko is built on an expansive scale and no doubt would have been impressive in its day. Now it is simply tired looking and rather impersonal. It is also rather out of the way for sightseeing. Our bedroom was tiny.

Our visit to Kyoto began with a half day private guiding walking tour. . We were first taken to the interesting Nijo Castle. Our guide was very pleasant and answered our questions but could have provided more historical background. After the Nijo Castle we were taken (to our surprise) to a shopping arcade! A shopping arcade is the second most impressive thing to see in Kyoto?? Seriously?? If you are contemplating a walking tour, I suggest you get some details of the proposed itinerary in advance.The next day we did a half day cycling tour. This was excellent. The cycling was safe and our guide who was most informative took us to a number of interesting places.

We took a multi-generational family trip (with grandparents and kids) to South Korea and Japan for almost 3 Weeks. Kervin at Explorient Travel arranged the itinerary, hotels and transportation for the whole trip. Everything went smoothly except when we missed our connection to Seoul. When we could not get in touch with local travel operator in Seoul, we called the 24 hour Explorient phone service Inn US and Kervin called me within 5 minutes from US. I was pleasantly surprised as I was worried that he would not get the message due to the 12 hour difference. Kervin got out next flight information and made sure that our transportation service at Seoul will be there to meet us at the airport for our new arrivals time. Kervin was great in helping us with planning our trip (hotels were too-notch) but was also there to help us during the trip in Asia.

I highly recommend Exploient and will recommend them to anyone looking to plan a private trip to Asia.

Excellent vacation to Singapore, Thailand, and China. Kervin Yu planned our trip and told us that our only responsibility was to show up - he took care of everything else. My 10 trip to Thailand was fabulous. Great sightseeing, hotels and food. I travelled to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Bangkok and Phuket - each place was unique and interesting.

We had THE best time in Thailand! Kervin helped the 6 of us plan the trip of a life time. We hit the highlights in 11 days. The trip was reasonable and the hotels were outstanding. Local guides were great!

After several months of looking for a travel company and speaking to several agents, it was really clear that Explorient was the company to go with, only after speaking to Kervin for the first time for about 15 minutes. Had an amazing trip! My son and I had a whirlwind 12 day trip in China. Kervin planned a fantastic itinerary! We LOVED it...my only regret ~ I wish we had more time to spend there!

Our experience was fantastic. We reached out to Kervin to help us plan our honeymoon and he was patient and helpful during an admittedly long process. We made a number of changes while planning and he took each one in stride, offering helpful recommendations every time. Our trip covered Hong Kong and Thailand with a few separate places in Thailand. The logistics of the trip were fantastic; our transfers to hotels and events couldn't have been more polite and timely. The tour guides recommended were even better, showing us the sights, answering our questions and providing more than a few laughs along the way.
