We had our second great trip to South East Asia. Kerwin was great, as always, when bad weather cancelled our flight before we could even get out of the country. He worked through the night to get us out the next day and reworked the itinerary. His knowledge of south east Asia and guarantee to deliver an outstanding product make Explorient our go to travel agency for south east Asia. I rarely write reviews, but I was fortunate enough to find him before booking our honeymoon trip on another review based online site and want to pass it on to the next traveller. If you use Kerwin, you will not be disappointed. If the unexpected happens overseas or domestic you can rest assured that you will be taken care of no matter the time of day or in our case night. Two thumbs up!!

Great Guides and hotels. Bad experience in Osaka with my pickup and airline cancellation. But overall was great.

We used Explorient Travel Services for our wonderful trip to SouthEast Asia during Tet celebration this year. Kervin and his team are incredible and the knowledge and expertise are beyond compare. We have never been to Asia and needed the assistance of an expert to ensure we got the most out of our trip. Indeed we did. From the early planning stages, the patience of the team and thoroughness of answering all my emails was very mush appreciated. I was impressed with the service excellence they displayed every step of the way. Based on Kervin's expertise, we planned a life changing trip in Cambodia,Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. Three weeks of culture, cuisine, celebration and spiritual healing.
One of the most impressive attributes of this company was the completeness of the service and tailoring the perfect trip to the travelers interests. We had a private guide in each city we went to. Using the knowledgeable local guide gave us insight into the culture. It was fabulous. We loved the temple tour of Cambodia and the visit to Tonle Sap Lake. Next we flew to Vietnam and we experienced our only mishap of the trip. We mistakenly got a German speaking guide. Our English speaking guide was on the countryside visiting his family for TET. Luckily, Explorient offers its travelers a 24 hour call number for traveler emergencies. We were patched through to Kervin immediately and he worked form his end in the states to ensure we got an English speaking guide within a couple hours. We were even reimbursed the cost of the long distance call. Nonetheless, this mishap delayed us in getting to the Mekong Delta and the traffic on the road during TeT was atrocious. But the resort was just lovely and everything was perfect the rest of the trip.
We stayed at several parts of Vietnam and experienced the culture , cuisine and lifestyle in many settings. The various activities and outings suggested by Explorient matched our interests and personalities perfectly. We tried everything from a cooking class in the village, fishing with local fisherman, a romantic cycling tour of the paddy fields, dodging traffic in Saigon and an awesome TET celebration with the locals. An overnight cruise on Halong bay and a street food tour in Hanoi were highlights from northern Vietnam. All the transfers were well coordinated and the accommodations chosen were beautiful, swell equipped, clean and within our stated price range.
When in South East Asia do not miss the opportunity to visit Laos It truly was one of the most spiritual locales we have ever been to. Seeing the Alms giving ceremony in a small neighborhood away from a tourist downtown allowed us to experience the beautiful Buddhist tradition in its purity. Laos food markets, village tour and night market are all highlights. The staff at Explorient ensured that all the hotels knew we were celebrating a special 25th anniversary and each hotel went the extra mile to ensure we were greeted with a romantic welcome.
When we planned our trip, we insisted that we visit an elephant sanctuary in northern Thailand. Based on Kervins expertise we decided on a day visit to Pataca Elephant Farm and it truly was beyond all our expectations. Our day of being a mahout and grooming, feeding , bathing and caring for these majestic creatures goes down as one of our best vacation days ever. Explorient even coordinated flights to Phuket that we added using hotel miles at the end of the trip.
The trip packaging was very thorough and complete. A couple months before departure we got a package of all tickets and transfers. It was informative and detailed. And the staff were available to answer emails in a timely and informative manner.
Explorient is excellent and in my opinion the only travel service to use to help you plan a wonderful trip to Asia. Thank you to Kervin and his staff for making our trip wonderful and giving us magical memories that will last a lifetime. We can't wait to go back!!!!!!!

I would never risk a far away travel journey with anyone that is not experienced in that area of the world. Explorient Express was the one we trusted and personally met everyone involved in our tour. Everything worked well. Top notched hotels, travel guides, program, etc., and very important, custom made to our needs and desires, which were never questioned. Laos and Cambodia were wonderful. The sights, food and people were all great. Highly recommend this part of the trip and may go again to explore the region more.

No reservations! They organized for us a private tour to China. Everything was in accordance with our requests: hotels, transfers, private tour guides. Special thanks to Kervin -- he was prompt, responsive and helped us with all aspects of this tour. His advises were priceless. We are now planning another tour to Asia and will book it with Explorient. Period.

our trip planned by Explorient was flawless in every way We were met at each airport by an experienced driver and guide . At no time did we feel concerned or worried in the biggest airports in the world . The hotels suggested by Kervin met all of our expectations . I would use this travel service without giving it amounts thought !!!!!

My daughter and I took the trip to China and it was wonderful. All tours were by very good English speaking tour guides and great drivers. We went to all the best spots and stayed at fabulous hotels. They also took us for some great meals. In the past we generally made all our own reservations when we went places but we were so thankful we used Explorient Travel Services. They told us just what we needed to know and we spent the perfect amount of time at each tourist area. We can't say enough wonderful things about this wonderful company.

Dependable connections to and from each point... from entrance into country to exit. Drivers and guides relieved us of language and detail concerns yet gave us space to enjoy sights. All accommodations, restaurants and hotels were excellent.

Kirvin Yu put together a wonderful private tour for us. We had to do things at the last minute, and Kirvin was very accommodating and efficient. We had a wonderful tour of parts of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, with a stopover in Hong Kong. It was a very memorable trip

Kelvin Yu has organized 2 other trips to SE Asia for us, and each has been flawlessly done, and wonderful.
In Myanmar we visited Mandalay and Yangon as well as taking a river trip on the Irrawaddy. Kevin also recommended Inle Lake and Ngapali beach. Every place we stayed was superb, and every flight, trip and transfer was perfectly organized. I highly recommend Explorient, and Kervin.
