Omg scammed 2x

Omg. I tried to write a review that wasn't positive. Somehow it just disappeared. Some of the lenses that they show are not what they are. They are also done on brown eyes which enhances colors. If you have blue eyes and put a yellowish contact in you come up with a muddy green. I ordered the JK blue and it wasn't even close to the pic. Thinking I had ordered the wrong thing I ordered it two more times. Same thing.. they do not give full coverage like the pics show. JK blue for example, I will send a pic of what I received. I also sent a pic to them and they said it was as the pic depicted.
WRONG! Now I see they have taken away the option for a pic. Scammers

Looked fake and cartoonish

Like others, they took almost a month to receive them. Also, they were incredibly fake looking, and were too big, so big I looked cartoonish. I didn’t even attempt to contact them because it’s a waste of my time and my own fault for not reading the reviews. DO NOT WASTE UR TIME AND MONEY!

Never shipped the product

Never shipped the product. Sent me a tracking number that said it was a "return" tracking, even if it was shipped it went right back to them. They stopped responding to my emails, and now I have to dispute with my card. Annoyed that I paid extra for expedited shipping (5-7 days) and it comes from China anyway so it's impossible.

Horrible

Horrible. Stay far away. I bought and paid for Maui Jim sunglasses ($274.00). Was contacted by this “company” saying that they’re out of stock and i should be getting it in two weeks or less. it’s not over a month. I reported them to the BBB now I’m just waiting with my money gone the day I made the purchase. And still no sunglasses.

Had to pester for a refund

I returned my sunglasses and sent them back over 2 months ago. I changed my 1 star to a 3 because it took 2 emails and finally a bad review on this site to get my refund. That being said, the initial ordering and shipping experience was fine, and the glasses were quality. They just didn't fit correctly.

I bought some reading glasses from these people. They were Tom Ford. The price was really good and I got them in under a week. I would recommend them if asked.

HORRIBLE

DO NOT SHOP HERE

This was the most horrible online purchase ever!
My experience was very similar to a previous review posted by another shopper and looks like this is a regular scam used by Eyesave.com to intentionally sell lower quality lenses instead of what was advertised.
I ordered a pair of "Smith Frontman" (frame) with "ChromaPop" (type of polarized lenses, expensive) lured by the low price from Eyesave.com. They had and issue shipping to my storage and offered 5% off if I used my home address. The charge came without the 5%! They took 10 days to ship. When arrived almost 20 days later, the frame matched the order but the lenses were just regular polarized, not the high end ones. It was even written on their invoice "ChromaPop" but not on the Smith's box nor on the lenses.
Tried to log into my account to get the return label and my email was taken as "invalid".
Tried to contact them on the phone and it's just a voice mail encouraging you to use the chat online and/or leave a message. Without and call back or reply for 3 days, I did use the chat. Customer service never explained the email address deletion. Sent me a return label in a png.file that had both sender and recipient unreadable. I had to convert it to jpeg. and had it enhanced to get a decent print out of it.
The return was done 10 days later and with a $15. difference to the Eyesave.com pocket. They did not returned what I paid for. I did not even want to contact them again.
Do yourself a favor, save time, money and headaches. DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE.

Excellent experience

I had a similar experience to that of A. Mazer on my Maui Jim sunglasses....they were a lot less expensive than the competition, and they arrived as advertised in three or four days.

False Item Description/Would not replace with correct item

Do not trust this company. There is a reason their prices are low. I ordered sunglasses with a particular lens that is normally much more expensive. Eyesave had them for $100 less. I selected the lens I wanted "Smith ChromaPop" with the frames I wanted "Frontman", ordered, sunglasses arrived after 4 WEEKS. I received the frames I wanted, but the lens was Smith's normal polarized lens. I told Eyesave's customer support they sent the wrong lens and explained that I'd like them to send the correct sunglasses and I would then return the originals. They replied and said "You can return the item free of charge." They did not grant my request. Then I sent photo proof to Eyesave's customer support. They didn't even reply after that. End result, I'm returning the sunglasses. If I do not receive a full refund (entirely), I will be in touch with them again.

Horrible, HORRIBLE Company!!!!!

I ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses for my nephew's birthday 12 days ago. They said it would arrive in 3-5 days max. 3 days later they called to say my order was being held up for a billing issue. The issue? I was having it shipped to San Diego to my nephew, so it did not match my billing address. I even paid for gift wrap! That held up the order and they said it still could not ship for 2 days because they had to get it from the vendor. Guess what? 12 days later I just got another email that said my order was being held up for a billing issue!!!???!!! That I needed to contact them in 48 hours or the order would be cancelled! They are in NY, I am in LA, they are closed, my nephew did not get a birthday gift... All this time I thought the order had been shipped and received! I am pissed!!!!!

Don't order from this company.

I ordered a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses on Jan. 30th. The email I received after ordering says "allow 3-5 days for shipment". This is very misleading, which is exactly how they intend it to be. I called 8 days after ordering to cancel my order and they say it can't be cancelled, it is going through the shipment process. I still haven't even received the sunglasses yet but I'm so mad about this whole situation, I'll be sending these glasses back as soon as I receive them, and from the reviews I've read, that won't be easy either.

Wrong choice ......

Ordered Gargoyles Firewall shades (Black/Smoke) on Nov 3 after being shown as available on website. Received email on Nov 6 saying the model was no longer available. I did have some misgivings ordering from a no-name site, but learned my lesson the hard way. Its only Amazon and Zappos from now on!

Do not use Eyesave.com

Terrible experience with eyesave.com. They send you an email telling you to allow 3-5 days for shipment but what they dont tell you is it takes 7 business days for "processing" before they even ship. I called today and asked why they dont tell you that and the very unfriendly agent said "Ill look into it". I will not use eyesave.com again and would not recommend you to use them either.

Well, unlike some others, I had a great buying experience

I see that Eyesave.com has been slammed a bit by some reviewers, and no doubt they've had some bad experiences. But I ordered some Maui Jims last Sunday and was very pleased with the transaction. First, I got the glasses for about $20 less than anywhere else I could find on eBay or the rest of the internet. Second, I bought the glasses on Sunday evening and by 9am on Monday had received an email saying the package had been shipped. The glasses arrived on Wednesday, in new and perfect condition, just like I expected.

All in all, a perfect buying experience. Maybe I was just lucky, I'm sure bad transactions can happen with any company... but I have no regrets at all with Eyesave.

Very Unprofessional eStore

Five business days after I placed my order, I discovered the Ray Ban sunglasses I ordered was not shipped! I received no email indicating that the item was on backorder, soldout, etc. So I called the company.

On prodding the customer service rep, I found out the sunglasses were not in stock although he said I might have ordered the last pair. Of course there was no way to verify this, he said. So I checked the web site to see if at least NOW it showed out of stock and noticed that the item was still listed as 'in stock.' That is, more unwary customers could end up ordering an item that definitely was not in stock without any notification. In all likelihood the same thing had happened to me.

Without another thought, I asked the rep to cancel the order. To eyesave.com's one redeeming credit, the company immediately canceled the order, and I received email confirmation right away. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend that you do not order from this company, unless you have ages to wait. Besides, who would trust an unscrupulous company to deliver authentic name-brand sunglasses? At least I didn't end up waiting a month only to find out they shipped me fake sunglasses! And I hope no one reading this has to deal with that kind of situation.
