We had all our accounts moved to Fairly associates when our previous financial advisor retired. He spent a long time and took a great deal of trouble finding us new financial advisors. We have been very happy with Fairy associates, especially with Michael Hennessy. We have found him to both personable and professional in all matters. He understands our life goals and always gives excellent advice.

From first contact to completion the advise and guidance I received was impressive. Pensions can appear a bit of a minefield and require expertise to negotiate ensuring adequate provision into retirement. Michaela provided the guidance I needed with great patience with my, many, questions backed up by a reassuring professionalism and knowledge gained over many years of service within this field. I am very satisfied with my dealings with Fairey Associates but with Michaela in particular. I would recommend unreservedly.

My family and I have had Fairey Associates manage our estate for around 20 years. We have always had well reasoned advice and guidance, initially with Ed Fairey and then Michael Hennesey and their teams.

first and last encounter with this company was disappointing. Peter, a financial advisor, called after I made an online enquiry. However, his advice was poor. He lacked the knowledge of pension operations and calculated contributions based on a savings account approach with a clear end goal. He didn’t consider annual growth or withdrawal rates and their impact on contributions.

Peter was also judgemental in his tone about personal circumstances. He appeared to age-discriminate and negatively commented in relation to retiring in late 50s while starting a pension in my 30s. This isn’t an unusual approach.

I called the company to share my experience as my first point of call and the company director called me back. It seems to be the company’s ethos - ‘poor advice, judgemental attitude’ as the director himself wasn’t apologetic, took no responsibility for his employees’ approach and seemed somewhat uninterested. Take your business elsewhere

Having lost my partner to a sudden death, Fairey Associates, who were dealing with my late partner’s pension have been invaluable to me, in particular Kevin McCann who was always at the end of the phone to talk through my concerns and who expedited matters quickly and efficiently which was a great comfort to me during this difficult time. I cannot rate them highly enough.
