Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 99 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Consumers frequently mention that the delivered flowers often arrive wilted, brown, and looking significantly smaller or completely different than the online sample photographs provided on the website. People also experience significant delivery delays, and many buyers struggle to receive proper assistance, replacements, or refunds when serious problems occur with their orders. Some reviewers were happy with the unique aesthetic, beautiful arrangements, and responsive customer service team during their purchases. Satisfied customers occasionally note that fresh floral arrangements arrive precisely on time and stay vibrant in their homes for multiple consecutive weeks.

Missed Mother’s Day Delivery and Zero Customer Support

I’ve been a loyal Farmgirl Flowers customer for nearly a decade and have placed close to 50 orders over the years, which is why this experience has been so disappointing.

I placed my Mother’s Day order on April 19th and specifically selected May 8th delivery to ensure it arrived ahead of the holiday.

Unfortunately, the shipment sat at a FedEx facility and never arrived in time for Mother’s Day, completely defeating the purpose of the gift.

I understand Farmgirl Flowers cannot fully control FedEx delays, and I recognize shipping issues can happen, especially around major holidays. What has been far more frustrating, however, has been the complete lack of customer support afterward.

Because the company is not accepting phone calls, I reached out repeatedly through both email and your customer service forms.
This is now my fourth attempt in 72 hours to get assistance, and not one person has responded in any meaningful way. No acknowledgment, no update, no resolution.
For a company that speaks so heavily about customer relationships and loyalty, the lack of communication has been incredibly disappointing. A delayed shipment is one thing. Ignoring customers for days during a failed holiday delivery is another.

At this point, I’m still waiting for a response from an actual customer service representative, a refund for the failed order, and an explanation as to how an order placed nearly three weeks in advance still failed to arrive on time.

First and Last

This was my first time ordering from this site, and it will definitely be my last. I ordered two Mother’s Day bouquets over a week in advance — one for Virginia (scheduled for 5/8) and one for Florida (scheduled for 5/9).

The Florida bouquet arrived on time, but the vase that was supposed to be included was missing. As for the Virginia bouquet, it’s now Monday and it still hasn’t been delivered. It shipped Thursday night, so at this point I’m not very hopeful the flowers will arrive looking fresh.

I understand Mother’s Day weekend is busy, but I’ve honestly never had issues like this ordering from other online flower companies. I chose this company because the bouquets looked more unique, fuller, and overall higher quality than what most generic flower sites offer. When people order fresh flowers for special occasions, there’s a certain standard companies should uphold — especially when it comes to delivery timing and presentation.

I’ve already reached out to Route Protection regarding the missing vase, and once the Virginia flowers finally arrive (hopefully today), I’ll be contacting them again to try to resolve the delivery issue as well.

It just really sucks having to tell my mom, “I bought you beautiful flowers, but I have no idea when they’ll arrive or if they’ll even look alive when they do.”

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience with Farmgirl Flowers. I placed my Mother’s Day flower order on May 5 specifically to ensure there was plenty of time for delivery before the holiday. The flowers never arrived as promised, completely defeating the purpose of the order.

What made the experience even worse was that I also paid extra for shipping protection through Route, yet when the delivery failed, Route was essentially useless and offered no meaningful resolution or accountability. It felt like both companies were more interested in collecting extra fees than actually ensuring customers received what they paid for.

Mother’s Day flower delivery is not a casual purchase — people are relying on these companies for important family occasions. Missing the delivery window entirely is unacceptable, especially with nearly a week of lead time before the holiday rush.

Between the failed delivery, poor communication, and lack of accountability from both Farmgirl Flowers and Route, I would not recommend using either service.

Disappointing. I have been happily getting and giving…

I have been happily getting and giving these flowers for years. The first couple of times I got them they were beautiful. The last two times I received them (from son and d-i-l. they were late and mostly beat up and wilted. It took me over an hour to go through the bouquet and take out the bad stuff and cut off the leaves ao the water stays a little bit clean. When I separated the greens there were very few flowers. So I ended up tossing lots of the greens. I love the eucalyptus but it’s mostly what you get. Lots of ranunculus and alstroemeria and snap dragons which do not travel well. In fact my DIL ordered PEONIES! I think the price is high. You pay for presentation with ribbons and burlap but you have to spend a lot of time rearranging them so they fit in a vase. And what to do with the burlap and ribbons? The backside does not have any floral design and no flowers.
I think they have grown away from the way they started. Too big now.

Do not put trust in them.

I spent a lot of money with Farmgirl Flowers. The most recent batch of flowers I ordered were to go to many of the mothers in my life for Mother's Day. It did not go well. I spent over $700 on my orders. Two of the orders did not arrive even though the orders were placed nearly a month ago. Every other order was delayed. And the orders that were delivered came partially damaged or the flowers were withering. I have tried contacting the business for days now multiple ways and I have not heard back. This will be my last time using them ever.

What an absolute let down

What an absolute let down. My husband ordered flowers for me for Mother’s Day. I thought it was so sweet, but I felt absolutely horrible for him because he was apologizing to me for how bad the flowers looked. He paid $125 for 30 peonies and they’re all almost dead the very next day. I sent photos the day they came in because they looked far worse than flowers should look the day of delivery, especially high end flowers like these. I wrote yesterday morning and as of today, never heard a peep back. I had to toss out a few due to mold and wilting and the others were already opened all the way, yellowing and wilting and that’s not how peonies should be when they’re fresh. I got them yesterday for Mother’s Day and will have to throw them out tomorrow, on Mother’s Day because they already smell strange and are wilted, falling apart and yellow.

How very sad. It seems these days that customer service has gone out the window.

Bad condition of product/can't reach customer service/not as described.

Received my flower gift yesterday. Nothing in package to cool flowers during shipping. Flowers were dying and limp. Several messages sent on their website have gone unanswered, Their customer service no. says they are too busy to take calls. Very bad experience. Bad delivery. Bouquet not even close to photo. Flowers about 12" long only. No Customer Service response.

Wish I could leave zero

Wish I could leave zero. My daughter sent me flowers from farm girl for Mother’s Day. When I received them I was quite surprised but took a pic and sent her with a thank you. She asked if there were any peonies then she sent me a picture of what she had ordered. The ones she ordered were around $100 dollars and the ones I received were $71.00. We have ordered many times from them and have had some issues before, I must say they have always replaced the flowers but why should you have to do this. I am done with this company and will never order from them again.

First time-Last time

This was the first time I ordered from this business. I was excited about their mission in providing excellent bouquets that are truly seasonal. I ordered 2 bouquets for Mother's day. One going to MI to my sister and one going to MA for my mother-in-law. In both instances the bouquets showed up with OLD and WILTED flowers. Thought I was supporting local growers, turns out the flowers came from CA and NJ, respectfully. Ridicules!
For the prices paid, I would have been better off running to the supermarket floral department. What an absolute waste of money! Beyond disappointing!
If you can, take the extra time and walk into a local florist, you will be better off and know exactly what you are getting.
And just in case this company tries to dispute this review, I have the photos

2 disappointing experiences

When my best friend's dog passed, I sent a burlap bouquet to him. They arrived wilted, damaged, lackluster, and the burlap wrap smelled like kerosene. We were very disappointed. I reached out to the company and they did respond quickly and gave me a full credit for a future order. I used the credit to send a bouquet in a vase to my sister. The flowers were less wilted and damaged this time (still more damaged than I'd like), but there's about half as many flowers as were pictured on the website. The bouquet looks pathetic with mostly greens and only a handful of flowers. I'm not going to bother reaching out again, I just won't use them in the future and I'll be telling friends and family about my experience. I've learned my lesson that local shops are the only way to go.

Pleasantly surprised and impressed

I was indeed hesitant ordering from Farmgirl Flowers since I have been dissatisfied with other big name florists. The flowers were delivered in a timely manner and were gorgeous! Easy peezy and notifications were plentiful. I will be placing many more orders.

Dead Flowers

Farmgirl was my go-to when getting flowers for my wife. Up until this last order where the flowers were mostly dead, including snapped stems. It was so bad my wife sent a professional email to their customer service expressing her shock and dismay with the quality. A month later they responded and sent a replacement order (not much good it does a month after a memorial) and that order was just as bad as the first! Never again.

Shipping procedures need much improvement

Shipping procedures need improvement. Package arrived upside down, plant completely broken/destroyed as the box had no "This Side Up" markings and the shipping label was placed on the bottom. Will not use this service again.

one gardener to another..

one gardener to another... Farmgirl Flowers succeed in every way.. Its been over 2 weeks since receiving a spectacular bouquet... they are still adding cheer to my home in a bevy of designs.
The original bouquet as shown in pic lasted two weeks ( with stems trimmed and fresh water every few days) ... then following floral etiquette ... flowers were divided trimmed and put into a variety of vases suiting what was left of the bouquet.....

Disappointed and Underwhelmed

I received a farm girls flower burlap bouquet as a gift and it was delivered with very wilted flowers. I’ve seen gorgeous advertisements online so was so very excited to see the box and completely under whelmed and disappointed when I opened the box. Did not live up to expectations at all. If the flowers cannot maintain their integrity and appearance during shipping then shipping should not be offered to other states such as Texas .

SHE SHOULD'VE SOLD THE COMPANY

It is so sad how much this company has changed. This was my go-to for flower delivery. I ordered two separate this week and the first delivery is NOTHING that I ordered. I'm scared to see what the other delivery looks like. A true waste of money. Perhaps she should've sold to someone who truly values their customers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST INSTEAD

DO NOT USE: I used to be a BIG fan of Farmgirl, for several years, it is no longer a quality product. I recieved a shipment for valentine's day, and first reaction was that i was disappointed in the size of bouquet comparative to the money spent and that size of arrangements as shown on the website. Then, as i prepared the flowers for a vase, i found that I received dead, rotted, smashed flowers. I reached out to customer service, with no response until i followed up 2 weeks later. I received an apology and a replacement delivery. I just received that delivery yesterday... only to find once again, dead roses, smashed Anenomes and wilted Stock. i emailed customer service again, with pictures, again.... clearly they just sent a replacement without actually looking at what was being sent. The response that i got was somewhat condescending. Here is my response: I’m fully aware of what guard petals are, and actually prefer them retained in a garden style arrangement. This is not that. That rose’s petals were soft and drooping. Spray roses loose heads all of the time, that was an old break prior to wholesaler and likely while still on the plant by the look of the healed scar. That also isn’t the point… the heads on the spray roses are drooping. The point being, I had an issue, you resolved it by sending an replacement. I appreciate that, however, the same substandard product was sent, did you flag the replacement order for the shipping department so they knew to ensure a quality arrangement? Likely not, so that means Farmgirl’s standard product across the board isn’t the same quality as it was before… its like returning a bowl of soup with a hair in it, only to be served another bowl that’s cold.

I want nothing in return, thank you anyway, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
