Firstly, we responded to your initial email within 10 minutes, and your second email was replied to within 45 minutes. We always aim to provide timely assistance, particularly during the busy holiday period.
Regarding your order, it was dispatched promptly and delivered on 21st December—two days later than expected but still in time for Christmas. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this slight delay may have caused.
When your return arrived, we noticed the item was missing its swing tag, which is required as per our terms and conditions for a refund. We immediately contacted you about this to see if the tag could be located, as unfortunately, without it, we’re unable to accept the return. This policy is in place to ensure items are returned in their original, sellable condition, which is fair to all our customers.
Lastly, there was a short delay in replying to your final email because our store was closed for a few days due to the storm that caused widespread damage across the area. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused, but it was an unavoidable interruption.
We always strive to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues fairly and efficiently. If you have any further concerns or would like to discuss this matter, we’d be happy to assist you further.

Unfortunately quite a negative experience. Listed and sent me the wrong size shoe. Blanked multiple emails and finally replied with a strange attitude. Again stopped replying once I sent proof of the above. Never managed to return the shoes and have had to try to sell them myself.

We’ve reviewed the email chain, and it seems our initial response may have caused confusion. The email we received simply said, "I need help with below," but no further details were included. We replied within an hour, requesting clarification, but we didn’t hear back. If there was any misunderstanding, I sincerely apologize.
Regarding the sizing issue, the shoes were listed using Kleman’s official France-to-UK size guide, which is the same standard followed by other UK retailers. While we’re confident in the accuracy of this guide, I completely understand how sizing expectations can vary.
Finally, I’d like to point out that we offer a 60-day return policy, and all return instructions were included in your order. If returning the shoes is still an option you’d like to explore, we’d be happy to assist with that or discuss alternative solutions.

Dishonest Company
The store was dishonest on several accounts- they sent a different shoe size than the size I purchased. They refused to acknowledge this for 2 months, instead saying that they (and Scotland at large) do sizing differently than Birkenstock does despite advertising Birkenstock sizing on the product page. They even tried to tell me that I shouldn’t be ordering a male shoe as a female, that this is why it was too big (despite only wearing male wide Birkenstocks for over a decade). I unfortunately had to involve my bank to get reimbursed. On their rebuttal statement to the bank, they said I returned outside the return timeframe that their policy states. My bank took the refund out of my account and I needed to submit further documentation to prove that I returned them well within the timeframe of their policy- so Fat Buddha lied, again, and tried not to reimburse me for their mistake. I returned them for a shipping cost of $88, sent from America. Fat buddha said they’d pay for part of the return, and never did. Because I had to open this dispute several times, I didn’t get reimbursed for the full amount that I initially paid or any of the return shipping cost. The whole ordeal took much of my time and I lost 102 dollars to it. Not an honest company.
