They have a serious banking issue in Aus!!

They have a serious banking issue in Australia that despite me letting them know weeks ago they have not resolved. If you deposit say $100 They will deduct that amount from your bank account but also hold a further $100 pending which then only becomes available after 7 days. Luckily I have only made small deposits twice of $20. The problem would lie in if you made a large deposit say half a weeks pay then you would not have a cent to use for 7 days. Don't use these guys until they acknowledge the problem is resolved!!

Not the best, but the reviews are a tad unfair

Only recently found this site and due to the sign up bonus, opened an account and started playing.

As previous reviews have mentioned, the turn over requirement is 6x bonus and stake, which I don't think is that unusual to be honest.

Bet through the requirements and made an account balance of about £200, had to go through the usual verification, which again, is not that unusual (I've certainly encountered worse) and the funds were in my account within a few days. I even got a further £10 free bet for meeting the stake requirements. Which I lost, but that's not the point!

Okay, it's far off the best out there, the layout on the mobile site is awful, the bet payout slow and it doesn't offer a great deal of markets compared to others, but all in all, I think the poor reviews are not reflective of this site, it's more than usable and I have encountered no issues, I'll certainly use again and would encourage others to do the same, if only for the bonus, it's worth a try.

I think it has a long way to go and the major problem is the lack of user friendly mobile layout, but it's a bit of fun, don't let the poor reviews put you off till you have tried it yourself. It also awards badges relating to bets, and hey, who doesn't like a badge!

Avoid

Signed up with the very attractive "100% deposit matched". So for a 50 pound deposit, I was allowed to bet with 100 pound - GREAT !

Then I won, and managed to wager the 600 pound to unlock my initial deposit for withdrawal. Took a couple of weeks. No questions were asked. (probably because each bet had the chance of losing)

Anyway, when trying to withdraw I was asked to provide all my details, passport scan, proof of address, scan of card etc.

I have a few bookmakers accounts, and this is the only one I know of that makes withdrawing so difficult, yet they say they are complying with UK/European laws ......... then all other bookmakers must be working fraudulently ? ???

Oh and my account has been closed.

My first ever review of anything.

Nice idea.

I signed up to favourit after seeing an advert on FB. I had a very lucky day on horses and managed to easily turn over the 6 times to release the bonus funds and eventually won 1240 in a day. Shortly after I read the reviews on he and obviously grew concerned. I would say to anyone who has any worries not to be, anyone who has had there money 'stolen' probably didn't turn over the bonus requirements enough times, and this is something every bet site does. Admittedly they probably don't deserve 5 stars as the withdrawal process is quite strict with the amount of ID that they require, but an agent called Karl explained why and it seems like they're regulated quite harshly and simply don't have the huge database of records that the big 6 have.

DO NOT USE

Absolute bullsh!t scam company.

Happy to take your money, won't give it back. I deposited by Skrill and they still tried to take 2.5% off me just to send it back to Skrill, never seen this before.

Currently dealing with some moron called Karl, who I believe is the only person there to try and get my money out before referring these to the gambling commission.

DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS!!

SCAM

I have never written a review before in my life, but this is quite simply the worst experience I have ever had with any corporation before in my life. How this company is allowed to operate is beyond me. I have a few online betting accounts with a number of different companies, and I have never had any major problems with any of them, before favourit.com.

I signed up using their enhanced odds promotional offer, and managed to rollover the bonus money and win £500 which was withdrawable cash in my betting account. However, when I tried to withdraw this money, they did everything in their power to stop me. After 2 weeks of waiting for my withdrawal to be processed, they closed my account with no explanation, and stole the £500 in my account that I had won.

I would strongly advise anyone who is considering signing up to this website not to do so. No matter how appealing the offer is it is all just one big con, and they will take any money that you deposit into your account. Please trust me on this one, I am an experienced online gambler.

Appalling

Please please please do not sign up to this website. Their offer of 100% matched bonus is nothing more than a scam as you need to play through it 6 times (including your original deposit) in just one month. If you don't do this, the maximum they allow you to withdraw is your initial deposit. In other words, if you're lucky enough to have won anything in that first month, they just keep it themselves. Not sure how this is legal and I will be doing my best to take action against them.

They also charge you a fee for taking your money out, just to compound the misery. I'm expecting a generic response saying it's all in their T&Cs, but if you actually read them they are so ambiguous I think you would be none the wiser. Hoping this company gets shut down ASAP.

Avoid as they won't pay out if you win

I signed up for this website to receive a new customer offer which won. Eventually I built my account balance up to just over £400 and I was asked to verify my account which I did. At first I used my passport but they claimed it was too blurry. I then used my driving licence and tried to withdraw the money. I received an email saying my withdrawal had been rolled back. I spoke to their customer service via online chat (no number to call to speak to anybody). I was informed that they weren't sure why my withdrawal had been rolled back and that I would hear back from their payments team, although they weren't sure when this would be. Then this morning I received an email saying that my account had been closed at their sole discretion and without explanation.

To think people will use this site and lose money without ever even having a chance at winning anything they can withdraw. Disgusting.

Edit: I see I have a reply from the,. That looks like a professional reply and which refers me to contact them via their support email. This is whom I have been emailing to see why I have been denied withdrawing my money and why they closed my account. I still haven't heard back. Notice how he apologises for me having issues with my documentation provided and no apology for the main issue which is the blatant refusal to pay out the money in my account to me.

Accused of having 2 accounts

I opened an account on Favourit and used a great promotional offer. Worked my winnings up to £123 but because of having a joint bank account with my husband. They have assumed that mine and my husbands favourit accounts are duplicate (he uses Santander. Me Coop) so they have suspended my account with the winnings and I have been told that's the final decision because they have no proof that we have our own betting accounts. Strikes me as sexism, surely a woman won't have a betting account.
Anyone know what I can do to get my money back because I feel I have been conned. They are obviously looking for anything to collect monies back from their punters

Bad withdrawal process

Similar to a few other non-mainstream sites they take forever to verify documents and don't accept clearly legible documents which you then just resubmit and are accepted. The slow process probably results in many just giving up, which could be the idea? They say a lot about KYC but many bookies don't require this and yet to come across one that needs to see this accepted before a deposit is made. If they did I bet it would get approved in a flash. Better to stick to other sites.

Favourit are slow

I was impressed with site. I verified my account and played for some weeks. All of a sudden was asked to verify my account again. I emailed in loads of documents and 6 days later i still am not verified. I have pending withdrawals that they will not release. There is no contact number and they dont keep you upto date with what is going on. AVOID this site as they keep your money.

customer service (favourit.com)

Week ago registered on this website because of the bonuss offer.

I am personally really impressed by the website and it's system controls, offer and safety. Love the experience in betting and for sure would invite my friends to join & play as well, especially because of their offer on £20 free bet by inviting a friend.
BUT
After first deposit and receiving my bonuss - got few times lucky and did full turnover in few days time, therefore requested my first withdrawal to make sure if I can safely continue to gamble at favourit...
Huge disappointment!
In withdrawal process they requested to verify my identity by uploading 3 separate documents and screenshot. Did that first thing receiving the request.
In 24h I asked for update. During first night, I received email telling me that documents will be reviewed shortly.
This shortly is now taking more than 4 days just to verify few piece docs, Inc. continues update request in live chat.
Worth to mention, that I still have 4 active tickets unanswered from customer support and payments/finance departments.

P.s. After posting this and having rough online chat in following day received my requested funds.
3/5 stars, 2 stars are left behind only because of withdrawal process, otherwise love the experience in this bookmaker!

Disappointing Experience to Neutral Experience

Got accounts with most bookmakers online and this is my first negative experience with one. Deposited £50 and immediately had to prove my identity which I've only ever had to do with one other bookmaker and that bookmaker was kind enough to ask for verification when I had no money in my account (could have been a coincidence, but I'll give that bookmaker the benefit of the doubt because they were always good with me).

I've recently opened accounts with other bookmakers and they've not asked me to verify my identity and they've also let me withdraw money from them so I expected it to be same here, unfortunately it's not.

I also thinks it's a nonsense that there is no middle ground if you don't verify your identity, especially if opening a new account - It's either verify your identity or we're keeping your money which is ridiculous.

The bookmakers themselves could also make it a bit clearer on their sites about this process rather than it being hidden away in the T&C's, they're quick enough to plaster all the great offers they have over the front page of their sites. If I was aware this was going to happen upon sign-up I would not have signed up, but then, that's why it's in the T&C'S rather than openly visible.

It's my own fault of course for expecting all bookmakers to be the same, but I'm giving this bad review because like I said, it's the first negative experience I've had with one. It's also my fault because I should have checked them out before I gave them my money. So, I'm £50 down thanks to this company but when I think about it, it's their loss because I'm rubbish at gambling and probably would have gave them more money through bad gambling.

Update: I'm getting my initial deposit back now so I'm happy enough to update this review and give this company three stars. It's just a shame you have to go through that whole prove your identity nonsense to use sites like this. Their customer service team turned out to be pretty good in the end as well, so I'm happy with that aspect of Favourit, but ultimately I'm just happy I'm getting my initial deposit back.

I do realise they didn't have to give me my deposit back because they had the legal bit of things on their side so I'm grateful to them for doing that.

Total Scam

If you get any sort of bonus when you log in don't expect to be able to withdraw any money ever.
Terms and conditions make it hard to place bets in the first place and if you win it's pointless as you will never be able to withdraw anything.

Terms are unfair and probably illegal. They are hidden until it is too late anyway.

If you sign up and get a bonus, anything you deposit is lumped in with this bonus and it lasts 30 days. After that you just need to walk away and forget you ever heard of the place as you'll not be able to withdraw anything even if you have won thousands.

Stay well away!

disgracefull, arthur daley would be proud of this scam

I joined this website yesterday, 12 -9-2015 due to an email link offering odds of 6 -1 for united to beat liverpool, maximun bet £10
70 notes I thought, no just 18.69 in my account.
The £60 can only be used on other bets under their terms and conditions.
I attempted to withdraw my money but could only do so to the nearest pound so they get to permanently keep mine and everyone elses extra pennies,
The final straw was when I was charged 1.63 to withdraw my own money,
Avoid this website like the plague, its a sham.

ive reported them to the gambling commission, I want this website closed down,
Im bad mouthing them to everyone I know, everyone else who has been shafted should do the same, will also get in touch with my local mp who carries a bit of weight in parliament
