I ordered 1.2kg of fibre in August Gai contacted me the next day to say that their system had allowed me to order more fibre than was in stock she offered a refund or I could wait for more fibre to come in. I was happy to wait even though I knew it would be several weeks before the fibre was ready.
On 1 October I was excited that the fibre had been sent but a week later Royal Mail tracking was indicating that they were still waiting for the package to scan into their system. Gai took time out of her working day to investigate the missing packages she then advised me that after extensive investigation Royal Mail had lost several parcels including mine. She offered me a refund or replacement and promised to send first working day after the weekend.

I wanted to collect my order rather than wait for posting, so contacted Gai at Fibrehut and asked if I could collect on Saturday. She notified me to say that the shop would be closed that day but she would get the order ready right away and I could collect that day. Unfortunately I had a prior appointment so couldn't make it.
I asked Gai if she could leave my order with one of the other sellers.
She contacted me straight back and said she would leave it with the pantry for collection on Saturday.
I collected my order from the pantry on Saturday morning.
What fabulous customer service. Going that extra mile for a customer is very rare these days.
I used Fibrehut when I bought my Ashford spinning wheel and I've bought a few things from them since and the service has been brilliant.
Can't recommend them enough.

Went on website absolutely lovely brought a loom
Received email on the Monday stating it had been shipped. Checked tracking every day. Wednesday shows that it had inky just been sent. Not impressed still haven't received item they could if just been a bit more honest about when it was shipped not just when label was purchased

Had them for 4 months now and can't fault it. We have a speed of 250mbps or more consistently.

Fibrehut were so super efficient with my order. It arrived by the next working day.

My order was a little complicated because I placed my initial order online and then paid for it and then discovered I had not ordered enough so I rang them up and they said if I placed a second order online they would combine the two so I would not have to pay a second delivery charge. This is something World Of Wool NEVER DO. Also World of Wool delivery of so slow. They don't even dispatch for about 10 days. I will be using Fibrehut for all my spinning purchases from now on. It is worth paying a tiny bit more simply for the customer service alone. Thank you Fibrehut. You're the best.

Have bought a few times now from their online store. Very helpful staff and great products.

I made an online purchase as the weekend I was in the area the shop was closed. After I made the online purchase a lady called me to say that the mulberry silk toos we’re out of stock and due to come back in in a week. She didn’t offer to post the part of my order that they did have in stock so I had to wait nearly two weeks to receive my order. When it did finally arrive it was all ok, but the mulberry silk toos, which I paid £7 per 100g for were only packaged in a sheet of flimsy tissue paper which does nothing to protect the delicate fibre. Also the mug I bought looks like it’s seconds quality as the glaze is poor in some areas. Overall I was really disappointed with the long wait and would have thought that they could have either posted the first part of my order straight away or given some sort of recompense such as a discount off my next order. Not even an apology was offered. Poor customer service.

We came up from Bristol to get some spares for my Ashford spinning wheel and Gai was so helpful to make sure we were getting the right parts. She even gave me a quick demo of long draw spinning as I'd mentioned about it. Fabulous shop, wealth of experience and superb products.

Fast delivery and the core wool is a bargain for the amount I bought. I bought a pack of merino mini wools. They are beautiful colour. Unfortunately I don't think that this wool is very good for needle felting. It was in the needle felt section though. Way too hard to felt with and I sadly can't send it back as I've opened and used a bit of it. Shame x

Absolutely top day at the Fibrehut Ashford Day! Learnt so much, and it was great to share time with so many other fibre enthusiasts. The two gents from Ashford were brilliant! And I have yet more fibre in my stash...!!

Good service, good products, a pleasure to deal with

I live over 2 hours drive from fibre hut but I love going for a trip out to the sit and spin days. It’s a friendly place and Gai has so much knowledge which she gives in abundance. The choice of fibre is amazing and you can really see the range of colours and textures on offer.
Excellent price and fantastic delivery service so shopping online is a joy.

I went to fibre hut looking for fibres for felting and came away with the confidence to achieve a lifetime ambition and begin weaving. Gai's tuition was excellent and continuing interest in my progress on subsequent visits both encouraging and makes me feel valued as a friend more than a customer. I can't speak highly enough!!

Thanks Gai for a brilliant learn to warp your loom session, it has given me the confidence to get going on my loom. I found your method of teaching so easy to follow and being hands on means I can remember it all much more clearly. Thank you again - it was well worth the journey from West Yorkshire. Sue

Wonderful shop, great choice of fibre and other goodies. The owners are always helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t recommend them enough.

Lovely fibres in some beautiful colours. My mother had been before and spoken to the lady who was more than happy to refresh Mom's memory on how to use the drop spindle that I had bought from them as a Christmas present. But this time it was a man serving us and when my mom enquired if they had got time now. She was told that she would have to book an hours session.
Mom then enquired about getting spare parts for her spinning wheel and the gentleman started trying to sell her a new wheel, which she didn't want or need.
We bought our yarn and left. It is very local to us so convenient, but if it wasn't for that we probably wouldn't be returning.

Totally amazing great service every time fibres are beautiful soft and in every colour you could want I will be buying from them again

My purchases have always arrived promptly and well packaged. The fibre comes in boxes and is therefore not squashed in the post and it is beautifully wrapped inside in tissue paper and often with a free sample. It is like a receiving a present in the post. The service is excellent and the descriptions offered on the website are very accurate. I thoroughly recommend FIBREHUT.
