Unprofessional and disgusting work ethic and service
Used a so called consultant when I was asked to get a surveyor when my next door neighbours wanted to take out their chimney breasts and a party wall agreement was set up. This consultants work on my behalf was unsatisfactory at the start and completely absent after the next door house owners paid him. I really felt like he was representing the house owners next door and not us. He kept saying he was representing the wall but I got the feeling he was representing the idea that he would do as little as he could for his money. Non of the party wall agreement was adhered to and the things he did tell me were completely ignored in the end leaving me feeling unprotected, abused and let down. I would not give him or the company one star and would never use them again unless I wanted exceptionally poor service.
Absolutely useless Building Management
Absolutely useless Building Management. They don't respond to calls or emails. Have to chase for months and still they never do anything.

Avoid at all costs!
I would strongly advise anyone looking for a new managing agent to avoid Fifield Glyn at all costs.
In the relatively short time they have been managing agents for our block in central London they have proven to be not only unresponsive to many requests for information and action by many concerned owners, but they have been breathtakingly condescending when they have bothered replying.
Admittedly they have taken on a building with a Board and governance approach that are demonstrably unfit and in breach of the lease, a works plan that is demonstrably unachievable in the stated accelerated timeframe, and an associated reserve fund charging schedule that is unreasonably accelerated and onerous.
But FG have proven themselves unable or unwilling to try to counsel the Board in a way that will achieve an agreed way forward to strike a sensible works and charging timeline, and to take misleading documentation out of the company records. This is in spite of the fact that this misleading documentation has been proven to be negatively impacting saleability and sale values in the building. This, in turn, means that the Board and now FG are responsible for financial losses for owners in the building.
It is unhelpful that FG continue to disregard all valid representations by owners and, instead, make condescending motherhood statements about the building needing significant works - something which is already known and accepted. It is also unhelpful that FG tell people that they can just sell up if they don't like it or can't afford it - when the reality is that the plan and charging as currently stated is proven to be unsound.
It seems very clear that FG's approach to management is to do what they can get away with rather than what should be done.
Zero stars
I am putting one star because it is not possible to put none.
Very bad service. I belong to a group of flat owners living in a building where the management has been recently handed over to Fifield Glyn. Unfortunately, there is an ongoing issue with a service charge bill that has literally skyrocketed in the last year or so.
Although the problem was there before Fifield Glyn was appointed as the new management agent, since they have been in place, they have not facilitate any sort of communication with flat owners, nor demonstrated respect and professionalism. On the contrary, this company revealed to be un-responsive and inefficient!
Personally, in spite of several emails I sent to them, I never received a reply.
Furthermore, they seem to be incapable to provide residents with the accounts for the expenses they claim from us. Given the huge financial burdens for property owners of my building, I would have expected some meaningful financial/ commitment, information in order to understand how the money we have paid up to now has been spent up to now! Sadly, in spite of our pressing request to access the audit, no one has even come back to us.
I wonder why our Board of Directors decided to hire a company which is so unprofessional
Avoid this company.
Please do not use this company. I echo all the bad press and experiences as described on here and on facebook about these guys. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism and lack of respect for clients in all my career. How they are still operating is beyond me.
Totally unprofessional outfit
This company have taken over the management of our block of flats and have had a horrendous experience with them. They are totally unresponsive and seem to only be proactive in chasing money and highly skilled at sending threatening letters but less skilled at actually doing their job. There is a good reason why they are so poorly reviewed on here. The fact that they still don't engage with their clients after getting such bad press speaks volumes for their practice. I would be totally ashamed to have my company criticised in this manner and by so many people. Do not employ the services of this company!

Nonsense and unprofessional and non-responsiveness
No Star, Fifield Glyn - a company without communication
Today I received from the credit control of Fifield Glyn accusing me of non payment of the first half year Services Charge (1 April 2022 to 30 September 2022) which I had paid immediately (20 June 2022) upon receipt of the invoice (please refer to the saga in my previous review). I have sent an email to their head of residential property management and copied to the account officer advising and confirming my payment. In the present invoice I was also charged with a late payment penalty from Fifield Green. I was promised that there will be no late payment charge to my account by their head of residential property management in respect of this Services Charge because of their mistake. I pay all my bills upon receipt of invoices and maintain very good relationships with all parties. I hold Fifield Glyn responsible if my name would be damaged due to their mistakes.
To Fifield Glyn senior management - please keep your house in order before sending untrue statement and threatening letters to your clients.

I am a flat owner and non-resident of a flat managed by Fifield Glyn ("FG"). I took the initiative to let them having my contact details as soon as I know FG was appointed the new managing agent of our block. As it was May 2022 and I have not received any service charge budget and the related service charge bill, I notified FG of the fact and asked for the information and the related bill.
I received a bill of service charge from Megan Connolly of FG on 30 May 2022 with a penalty charge by email and 2 minutes later, I received another email enclosing the same bill plus a Standard Court Action letter which is rather threatening. I have written to the senior management of FG and pointed out the fact that this is my first time to have received the service charge bill. But no response. I then emailed to one of their directors on 2 June 2022 complaining the worrying situation and received a reply from him saying that he will take up the matter with the Team on 5 June 2022 and ensure me of a response. As of now, I have not received any reply from FG. I was upset and felt highly uncomfortable and apprehensive for this lack of common sense and professionalism on FG.
Unprofessional and unreliable. Shameful attitude.
Fifield Glyn have for several weeks now been the new managing agents for our block of properties in central London. Without doubt, they are the most unreliable and unprofessional set of ‘professionals’ that I have encountered in almost 40 years of business throughout the world, including the ‘3rd world’. They are totally unresponsive, spectacularly fail to deliver on even the most basic promises and worst of all their Directors seemingly endorse this pathetic service by matching it with their own (lack of) input and communication with property owners seeking professional (paid) engagement with them. I would therefore greatly welcome a detailed response to my comments from any of the Directors of Fifield Glyn…..even the office cleaner would be a vast improvement in service delivery. We might even make some progress with them unless they too are blighted to their core with the Fifield Glyn attitude towards customer care and professional service delivery.
Directors - you should be totally ashamed of this review! Step up. Be professional and start to engage with the c30 property owners in our high value/prestigious block. We are burying your business in e-mails and phone calls, the vast majority of which are not even acknowledged let alone dealt with to date.

I repeatedly ring about letters saying I owe charges when I pay by standing order, have rung many times and have been told I owe nothing but the letter still keep coming, I am a pentioner and find it very worrying,
I ring that promise to return my calls but never ring back.

Excellent Service
I asked Fifield Glyn to carry out a survey of our premises. They were extremely efficient and knowledgeable and their report is easy to understand and very helpful.

Highly responsive and excellent customer service
We have found Fifield Glyn excellent landlords. They have responded to any queries quickly and efficiently. I would thoroughly recommend.
I needed a survey and schedule of condition
My company needed a survey and schedule of condition on a warehouse we were leasing in North London. Edward Fifeld did an excellent job at short notice and has been prompt, efficient and generous with follow up advice. I will use Fifield Glyn again and have no hesitation recommending Edward Fifield.
Very bad experience
FG currently manage our block of flats. They are incompetent - errors in service charge accounts, a failure to return the surplus payments, general lack of transparency with charges. Struggle to get even the most basic answers from them.
Property managers keep on leaving which says a lot about Management.
I also complained about the constant delays to carry out works and was told that "their contractual arrangement is with the Freeholder" which implies that they don't care about complaints from leaseholders.
We recently hired Fifield Glyn to take…
We recently hired Fifield Glyn to take over our block management. Disaster is putting it mildly, change of 6 property managers, not responsive to email or calls, service charges a mess, cannot perform the most basic day to day tasks properly. Nothing that was promised and agreed on appointment was delivered. We’ve actually gone backwards from the previous management.
Hugely inefficient and rude .
Hugely inefficient , full of their own self importance which comes from the top of senior management . Watch your bills , they backdate and then issue debt collection letters . Bullied my elderly mother .
Not interested in suggestions to improve their service .

Rude & inefficient
I am a owner of a flat at one of the buildings they manage and the one consistent feature with dealing with them is rudeness, ignorance and ineffectiveness.

We are very early in Ffield Glyn taking over the management of our block and we have had two previous companies, one who we sacked and one who got rid of us, but all their personnel had left, so they were clearly wanting to get rid of their portfolio. Thus far FG have been very helpful and engaged in sorting out the issues. The main thing is that we get quick responses to emails or phone calls which is refreshing! We have some big issues coming up on redecoration for example and of course the freeholder/residents are struggling with the best option. Happy to keep this site updated but thus far I think we have made a good choice!
Very happy to be shot of this company…
Very happy to be shot of this company who acted as managing agents for our block. Poor service, errors in the accounts, incorrect service charging, constantly had to be pushed to do the most basic of block management. Residents constantly complaining about their non-responsiveness. Could only do the most basic of letters. Provided ridiculous quotes for standard maintenance. The block directors had to spend a lot of time Fifield's job for them.
