Our water without this filter serving as a pre-filter to our Pentair complete filtration and softening system would be unacceptable. This picture represents how much grit and sediment was trapped in only 78 days. We have them on automatic shipping and think we need to shorten the shipping / install cycle from 90 days to every 30 days due to the hardness of our city water which comes from a deep aquifer.
