Loan officer was amazing!!! Very professional and bent over backwards to walk me through the long drawn-out application process.

I went through the entire process complying with every document and process required by me, the borrower/customer. The process was unnecessarily tedious, but I wanted to see it through. A notary was sent to my home to complete the signing. I was given 3 days to withdraw myself from the process. On the 4th day, I was supposed to have $730,000 wired to my checking account. It’s the 5th day and I have not received access to one penny of my loan. I am being told that there is a problem wiring money into my checking account….the same checking account used by the IRS, the state bureau of revenue, and the social security administration. And yet, somehow Finance America can’t wire my money. And there is no end in sight, no idea of where my $730,000 is or when I might get it. 9% interest on $730,000! Do the math. In the meantime, Finance America is calling my loan “closed”.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

They wanted everything but my blood type. I need to know who is holding my insurance and tax money. I escrowed for a year. No one answers my calls, including Finance of America

The process went very smoothly. I can't believe we closed in less that 30 days. My agent Gina and her team was very professional, knowledgeable and did what she said they would do.
I received quotes from 3 different companies. The quotes were competitive. I initially chose to go with another company, but they couldn't deliver on what they said.
When I came to Finance of America, they delivered on everything that they said they could do.
