FoA from the very first phone call made the process of a RM, absolutely seamless. Everything was explained thoroughly and the actual initial 'approval' was literally handled in minutes from the first phone call with the representative. I simply could not recommend enough if you are considering a RM. "Thank you..." Factually, I recently referred two folks to FoA who were wanting to do an RM. I will also be referring others.

I was in permanent contact with Kristina Bruno, wonderful person,always answers all my questions no matter what time, she assist me all through the processing, great support. she gave me confidence and all information i needed. The process was quick and easy. Yes, a lot of docs needed but worth it, I am free of debts, can still keep my house and have a life free of stress. thank you so much to make my life better from now

1. Provide clearer closing costs vs final. Explain clearer.
2. Provide a final signed closing package for my file and accounting. Getting an unsigned docs is not enought
3. kinda messy at end.

Good response back quick decision

Went through a reverse mortgage with this company and couldn't have been more pleased . The people are so sweet and put so much effort into making everything go as smooth as possible. The Loan Consultant, Andrea Tweedie, was excellent. She is very knowledgeable and kept you up to date with the process. She will always return your phone call in a timely manner after leaving her a message. The processing department however wasn't as efficient and was difficult to connect with the processor. Maybe the processor was too busy or overwhelmed.

Great reps and communication!! It wasn't a hassle for me at all because my house was paid for. A reverse mortgage was the best option for me at this time, and I'm using most of the money to remodel my house. I'm retired, so I can't make loan payments, and the reverse mortgage allows me to invest in my home and build more equity. It will absolutely work for me!

Loan Officer Kristina Bruno was very transparent, educated, prompt, and through in explaining the reverse mortgage. After being a forward mortgage loan officer for 39 years, I didn't understate reverse mortgages. Prior to speaking with Kristina, I spoke to Mutual of Ohana, where that loan officer gave me a great education. Kristina made some things clearer, was very completive with pricing, and was patient. She was able to pay both appraisals out of loan proceeds, and the Hud consuling course was paid by a grant, I only spoke to the processor once. the loan was cleared to close quickly after the second appraisal came in. If I had worked for Finance of America as a loan officer, I am sure the experience for me would have been outstanding,

The process was OK. The changing of my loan manager and processor was not OK when we were in the middle of completing of the loan.

Eddie was amazing with all steps to complete our loan. We appreciate his guidance and efficiency.
