I placed an order for over €200, making the extra effort to reach the threshold because the website clearly advertised a guaranteed surprise gift. When my package arrived, however, there was no gift included.
It’s not about the value of the gift itself, but about the principle: if a promotion states something, customers should be able to trust it. When I reached out to customer support, I was told it depends on availability — but this condition is not mentioned anywhere on the website.
To make matters worse, the response was that I should place another order and maybe I’d get the gift next time. This is simply unacceptable. Promotions should be transparent, and customers should not be misled.
