We had two normal units to check. One was from 2008 which needed service. But the other one was last serviced less than two years ago. They bullied the staff into accepting to get two new units. I con... See more

Some fun
Overall, good fun.
One criticism: at break all children were allowed to play on their phones. Why go to all the trouble of having in-person camps, then fail to encourage in-person interactions?

My son really enjoyed every minute of his camp! He learned new skills, was entirely entertained, and made friends.
My child learned about coding
All in all the tutor managed a fairly disparate group of kids very well.
The ice breaker games were a good idea
The depth of tech info was pitched at a very good level to remain interesting without overwhelming the kids.
I suggest that when the tutor asks a question and a student answers, the tutor should repeat the answer so that everyone hears and understands. It reinforces the learning point and draws it together.
Similarly, the pace of the class should be determined by the tutor. It is good to be responsive to the kids needs and to be flexible, however at times the tutor got distracted by the affairs of one or two of the kids and didn’t carry on, so there was a sense of waiting around. He did always set out the agenda at the start, confidence and experience are all that’s needed to stick to a well laid out plan.
I was impressed to see that when one child had a meltdown, an extra tutor quickly arrived and took him into a breakout room.
The class ended on a high, the kids definitely learned some coding, the Certificates and Awards were a very nice touch. I’d definitely recommend you to friends and we’ll do another online course in future.
My son loved it and asked to come back
My son loved it and asked to come back. Highly recommend!!
Great course
My son enjoyed.the course but particularly helpful when we were having Ableton issues after the course finished and Fire Tech got on a video call to help us sort it out. Amazing!
Excellent courses
Great online holiday camp
We tried a week long online course around Minecraft and my son loved it. He learnt to use a lot of creative tools and technics.
A great course
A great course, good content and introduction to Python for younger people.
Digital Design Course
Digital Design Course
My son really enjoyed this course. It was really good content and he came with great designs but more importantly wanted to continue working in Photoshop when he got home - totally inspired.
Very friendly staff - great welcome on first day when we dropped him off.
1 week beginner course great
Really great sessions in the week long course, thank you. Engaged my daughter well. Would be useful to have more materials to read alongside the course so I can help her with queries later.
The single evening course was also great, but a lot of assumptions were made about starting level and this was pitched too high for a beginner. Written step by step would also be useful alongside this course.
All in all great though - we will definitely be back.
Creative Digital Design
My teens did the Creative Digital Design summer course recently and had a great week in a London school. There was the right mix of fun and work (it is the holidays after all..) and the week flew by. The class was small too so lots of individual attention if they needed it.
The tutor was apparently fun and friendly too by all accounts.
The only parental disappointment was the use of Adobe which they used for a week's trial. We didn't want to extend given the cost but it would have been nice to have software they could continue to use at a lower price or for free.
Great job all round.
Ok but not as amazing as expected
Communication before the course was limited.
The in-class experience was OK but my child wasn't able to finalise the project due to time limits and found the teacher's programme not always easy to follow.
Overall, given the cost of the course, I expected a bit more communication and preparation before and during the course.

Super week of Roblox coding for my 11 year old, he was 100% engaged for every session and really proud of his achievements at the end of the week.
My daughter spent a week doing a coding…
My daughter spent a week doing a coding camp in the summer and loved it. The team, especially Niamh, we’re fantastic and she came away buzzing every evening. She can’t wait to sign up for another course. Thank you for a great week!
My daughter really enjoyed the course…
My daughter really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. However there was a problem with the computer that my daughter was using - it wouldn't start on the 3rd day of the course and was not able to be fixed- and some of her work was lost. As this was a course where the hardware was provided, its a bit surprising that the computers were not in better shape. At least she learned the importance of remote rather than local backup:)
