Would definitely recommend

I am stuck with current estate agent and phoned this company to get some tips on selling faster. I was presuming that I will be brushed off and dismissed, but to my surprise I have had warm and lovely chat with Katrina who gave me so much free advice and I was amazed that I can still sell faster way. Katrina was empathetic and didn’t ask me to sign on. Instead we agreed a plan. Thank You

Highly Recommended

From our first meeting to the conclusion of our sale, Katrina was with us every step of the way. Her advice and guidance facilitated a lot of interest in our properties and achieved a much quicker sale than we anticipated and above the guide price too.
We also had exceptional service from the solicitor Katrina recommended.
We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending First Choice Properties & Auctions and Your Property Matters.

Avoid at all costs

First Choice Property Auctions is, without question, the worst estate agency I have ever dealt with. The agent I dealt with was unprofessional, pushy, and showed no respect for clients’ requests. Even when asked for time to think, she continued to barrage with sales pressure, ignoring anything I actually said.

I found their fees more than double what I have previously experienced. Which ultimately resulted in the seller losing out.

Worse still, they shared personal contact details without consent - completely unacceptable and potentially unlawful. On top of that, what they said about Additional Dwelling Supplement (ADS) and LBTT was incorrect and misleading, which to me demonstrated a clear lack of understanding of the legal framework in which they are supposed to operate within.

In short, they are unprofessional, unethical, and incompetent. I would strongly urge anyone considering First Choice Property Auctions to think twice before entrusting them with a sale.

Updated extra:
There was another 1-star review where First Choice Property Auctions questioned its authenticity - perhaps this is simply their approach.

They also questioned the authenticity of my review - encouraging readers to doubt whether the review is genuine. I can assure you it is, and it has since been verified.

For me, this whole experience with the agent and the estate agency has only been reinforced by their unwillingness to accept feedback and their attempts to deflect attention away from it.

Personally, I believe feedback is one of the most valuable ways to grow. Listening to others, reflecting on their experiences, and considering where improvements can be made is important — even if we don’t always agree.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. However, after a thorough review of our records, we are unable to identify any client or enquiry under the name Izabella, nor do the circumstances described align with any interaction we have had.

On the date referenced, the only seller we acted for has since provided us with a positive review, which further suggests this review may not be based on a genuine experience with our company.

For clarity, First Choice Property Auctions does not provide legal or tax advice to clients. Matters relating to LBTT or Additional Dwelling Supplement (ADS) are always directed to solicitors or relevant professionals, and we make this clear in our communications.

We also take GDPR compliance extremely seriously. Any suggestion otherwise is damaging.

Given the absence of any matching client records and the inaccuracies within this review, we believe it may have been posted in error or does not relate to our business. If the reviewer believes they have had a genuine interaction with us, we invite them to contact us directly with verifiable details so we can investigate further.

Update to review 5.1.26: We have requested a verification of review as we have had only one sale in the period you provided where Sellers provided us with EXCELLENT review. Those sellers have not paid a £ to us, hence our fees were fair.

Your stipulations are potential to DEFAME lawsuit.

You put legal reference to: LBTT ,ADS & GDPR , hence as those are serious matters , yes we have investigated them and we have not found any BACKUP to your review.

We don't give tax advice and we have Privacy Policy in place. We don't distribute information to third parties unless we 'have to' as a part of transaction, for example an enquiry from HMRC, and other matters as per our Privacy Policy.

In terms of removal of reviews - we don't have powers to remove them, but if they are done in scamming way, and not by genuine service user then we will ask for verification. Why? Cause we care on feedback.

We have asked Trustpilot again for a backup to your 'potentially unlawful' Claims. If we don't get them we may consider further reviews of this review and then take it further in legal context.
