I normally come to this restaurant in Marylebone with friends and family for treats and birthdays. We came on 16/8/25 it was a birthday celebration. The prices are high and the portions were smaller than usual. The food was all cold. The waitress who served us was upset we didn’t want to drink alcohol. Although I asked for the jug of water to be left on the table twice this did not happen. We paid £127.00 for 3 people. The place wasn’t as busy as usual. I am not surprised. I know we won’t be returning. Shame as on all other occasions it was our favorite place! The staff didn’t seem to like Indian people! They came across as hostile and racist. Spoilt our birthday celebration!!!

Psycho working in the shop on Marylebone high street almost got in a fight with him because he lost his temper out of the blue . Stay away

Went to fishworks in Swallow street for partners birthday, we were greeted upon arrival, staff were very friendly and attentive.

We had a 3 course meal, all the food was amazing, perfect portions
Lobster a little over done but the flavours were spot on.

Definitely will be returning next time here, highly recommend paying this place a visit.

The bouillabaisse was a disaster. Most of the mussels and other shell fish in the dish were closed and not part of the sauce.
The shell of the other mussels were broken and there were pieces of shell in the sauce.
The waiter showed the dish of closed shell fish to the chef who then brought me another dish of mussels that were cold to eat separately- which was weird.
I was not happy and they just offered to take £10 only off the bill and not to replace the dish.
Eating shell fish as we all know can be risky. I did not feel safe eating this.
Also the staff member who took £10 of the bill - kept repeating :’ all our shell fish is fresh’
Which felt as though she was protesting too much.
Avoid!

Overcooked, dry scallops for starters.
'Special' dish was 'dover sole Veronique'. The fish was two thirds bone and very little meat.
On the menu there was a two line description of the sauce. However, there was so little sauce, it was barely visible.
The description on the menu said that the fish came with grapes and potatoes. However, there were only TWO grapes, cut in half, and FOUR potato chips!
Very disappointed and will never return.
