Fiskars purchased the Kitchen Devil Brand of knives. They used to have equally serrated sides, now they have different profiles, reulting in a curving of the knife when cutting in the kitchen. This... See more

Fiskars products are OK but don't trust the lifetime warranty. when I contacted Fiskars for a claim on a tool they simply told me that a tool that was a few years old was "older than it's life" What a load ! so no spares or warranty. If you are motivated to buy because of the warranty, Don't !

Very happy with Fiskars products ,I bought a Heavy duty shovel from them at home depot around ten years ago , the end of the shovel cracked under heavy use in cold weather I sent them a picture of the shovel and a few weeks later I had a new shovel at my doorstep, will keep buying Fiskars.
Chinese trash
Chinese trash. This used to be such a good brand when the tools were made in Europe, but now, they're not worth anything. Some of their stuff has even been subject to recalls, including a god-awful pruning saw I purchased. It was actually dangerous to use.
Great and versatile product with incredible company support
After approximately 10 years of regular use the screw on the GS42 grass shears wore away the plastic insertion point resulting in failure. While this was disappointing the prompt support and offer of replacement sheers was more than I expected and in contrast to the reviews I’d seen below. I hope the company is able to make a design adjustment if not already undertaken to ensure further longevity of a great and versatile product.
Warranty Debarcle
I've been trying to get a warranty claim settled since August (five months!) for an American product purchased in America via Amazon & shipped to New Zealand but US just keep bouncing it back to NZ/AUS who can't because only US can...but won't.
All I want is the punch I ordered but in a working condition - why is this so god damned hard?
It is INFURIATING. What good is a lifetime warranty if nobody will help you?!?!
I've been so patient & polite but it's hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

The loppers are good but you cannot get replacement blades. Good product badly let down by customer support. Would not buy their products again.
I recently broke a Kitchen Devil…
I recently broke a Kitchen Devil kitchen knife. I sent a email to them they offered instant replacement. Their emails were polite I cannot fault them. The knife was not new but they replaced it anyway. First class customer service.
Thank you Laurene Lord.
Fiskars demise, they are starting to bite the dirt
After reading all the negative reviews and looking Fiskars up on Google I came to understand what is happening with their products. The company is "reorganizing" and have closed operations temporarily, and is it seems with so many failing businesses, Covid19 is being blamed. Their once reliable products have been on a deep decline for a lot longer than the Corona virus have been around. Not even their warranty is worth anything any more.
I wanted to replace a worn out set of grass shears and was surprised at how badly the reviews for most of their many models were on every single website selling Fiskars. Nonetheless, I went ahead and bought one at my local Home Depot just to give it a try since it looked like a well made, solid feeling rotating grass shear, very similar to but updated model of the one I had. BTW, this new one is made in China, not Finland.
Lo and behold, the shears are truly a piece of garbage. For the best part all they do is fold the grass blades with very poor or no cutting, need say no more. All the negative reviews are spot on. DO NOT, I repeat, do not spend the money or waste your time like I did. Now I have to make another trip to Home Depot to return them and get a refund.
I suspect a great deal of their other yard and garden products are falling in this kind of situation. What is happening with companies like this one?
Thought this was a good
Thought this was a good
company. Customer service is non existant.
Phone lines are down, and so far I've gotten no reply to my warranty claim from their website.
The loppers I bought were pretty pricey, but since they claimed an unconditional, lifetime warranty, I thought, why not?..
Never buy any of their products again.
Happy Fiskars customer
I recently contacted Fiskars about two 100' garden hoses which developed serious defects during the first season of use. They were slightly out of warranty and purchased from a company that they had acquired since my purchase but they replaced them anyway. I just wanted to thank them publicly for standing behind their products. Fiskars is definitely a company I will do business with again soon.
Great customers service . Outstanding products. you have a customer for life
Great customers service .
I own several pieces of Fiskars equipment from scissors to large garden sheers and I have always been very happy with theirs products and highly recommend theirs products .
Recently I had an issue with a pair of garden shears that’s suddenly broke and I reported it on line and attached a photo to show them the broken sheers .
Fiskars responded in a very positive manner and they resolved the issue to my satisfaction.
The web site was easy to navigate and very friendly .
Thank you Fiskars .
You have a customer for life.
Fiskars
Fiskars good customer service
My Fiskars up86 telescopic pruner became inoperable due to a pull cord fault after three years of use. After contacting the Fiskars customer service team a replacement cord set was sent. My (very good) pruner is back to full working order. Good service from Fiskars.
Hedge Shears thin blades.bent to easy
Hedge Shears thin blades.bent to easy. not sure if it’s worth hassle to bother with the lifetime warranty after reading reviews
Excellent Products
Purchased Fiskars Razor Edged Fabric Shears and Thread Snippers. Having made over 200 masks, these scissors have made the job so much easier. Love the grip and design on the shears. Would recommend to novice and professional seamstresses.
Customer service very bad
I bought
Fiskars Long-Handle Tool Weeder last summer and didn't see the defect. This summer I started using the tool and found it doesn't work properly. I contacted costumer service in May 2020 and they contacted me in July 2020. I got already another tool because I had so many weeds.
Customer service very bad.
Years ago Fiskars was very good brand, but today quality goes down.
Awesome service!
Awesome service. One of my paper cutters did not cut straight so I emailed the team and sent a picture. They mailed me a replacement, no questions asked. I will definitely buy from them again!
Poor quality products
I've been using Fiskars for a while but they keep failing despite regular cleaning, sharpening and oiling. The bypass pruners (on my second pair after Fiskars authorised a replacement) are particularly rubbish and have come loose at the hinge. The small saw is also poorly made (cheap plastic handle that is coming loose) and the blade was blunt after 2 uses. I'm disappointed at the poor quality and considering how expensive they are, I expected better. I will be changing brands.
Great quality, even better warranty service!
I always buy Fiskars products when shopping at Home Depot if they are available. Their lifetime warranty is totally true. I have broken 2 different sized pruning shears after several years use each and Fiskars has replaced each with no questions. Their website has a warranty section, I just take a snapshot of the tool adjacent to a yardstick so they can see the size and voila a few weeks later the item comes via fedex/ups. The tools work great and stand up to a lot of stress and wear/tear. I didn't realize this 70+ year old guy was still that strong to break a very strong tool!
i bought the powergear anvil loppers…
i bought the powergear anvil loppers less than 4 years ago with a lot of other fisker garden tools because i always thought they were quality.although the loppers were fabulous while they worked i was chopping up a bush yesterday and the snapped right at the anvil making them useless. unless i spend not much off the total price of a new set on new blade.very disappointed they broke so quick as its not every day you use them. .
