Great Experience – No Complaints

I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about FIT/ONE, but honestly, my experience has been really positive. I joined the FIT/ONE in Wedding, Berlin while I was in the city for a 3-month internship, starting in February.

When I signed up, the staff member I spoke to was super helpful and transparent. He clearly explained the differences between the membership plans and made sure I understood that the contract is billed monthly, but it’s open-ended—so you have to cancel it at least one month in advance. Since I was only staying for a short time, he even helped me set a reminder on my phone to cancel in time. That was really fair and considerate of him.

The gym itself is great—huge, spread over three floors, with a sauna, free mineral water, and group classes (which I didn’t try, but they looked good). I’m not a big gym person, so I can’t speak to the equipment in detail, but everything looked clean and well-maintained.

A couple of days ago, I went to cancel my membership. Even though the cancellation process is done online, one of the staff members helped me through the whole thing step by step (especially helpful since I don’t speak much German), and I got the confirmation email right away.

All in all, I had a smooth and positive experience with FIT/ONE in Wedding. I’m honestly not sure why there are so many negative reviews—mine was nothing but good!

I think FitOne is getting broke

I think FitOne is getting broke! They started a good discount on Black Friday and I got in. They charged 39 EUR for the bag, shaker, and towel but they never gave me the towel, and every time I go they say 2 weeks.
Since December they started cutting everything, No Wifi, No drinks, No towels, No coffee anymore.
I don't recommend this gym at all.

The friendly and professional staff made my transition into the fitness world seamless. From my first visit, I was impressed with the variety of classes offered; whether you’re into high-intensity workouts or prefer something more relaxing like yoga, there’s something for everyone. The trainers are top-notch—they push you to challenge yourself while ensuring you feel safe and supported. The gym is always clean, and the equipment is modern and well-maintained. I also appreciate the sense of community here; I’ve made lasting friendships with fellow members who motivate me daily. Since joining, I’ve made incredible strides in my fitness journey, and I couldn’t be happier.

Terrible customer service and suppressing google reviews

The Gym itself is fine. The management and contract situation is the problem. I wish I had read all the people having issues.

I attempted to cancel my contract as I was leaving Germany, to which they responded please send the relevant documents by XX.XX.XX. I did, but they took 3 months to respond, by the time which they sent a debt collector. The whole process lacks accountability. They use a third-party for their online forms and do not reply.

I left a negative google review, which they removed as they said I never attended. So not only do they endorse malpractice but they also suppress honest negative reviews.

Now I get the thrill of dealing with Inkasso...

Difficulty in Canceling Membership

I would definitely not recommend this gym to anyone. It was very complicated to figure out how to cancel my registration. I initially thought I had successfully cancelled, but it turned out I hadn't, and I ended up paying for an additional two months. When I tried to explain the situation, they were unhelpful. I suggest looking for other gym options.

SCAM!!! Stay as far away as possible

SCAM!!!

I went in with my boyfriend and asked for 2 monthly contracts. I was given an annual one secretly. He was given the requested monthly one. When I went in to cancel I was told that the contract was cancelled with no issues but they have since been harassing me for money. It’s worth noting that I wasn’t told about all of this until after I had left the country. So to be clear, they have tried to extort me for an extra 250 euro for the year contact that I clearly did not request.

Beyond this they have raised fees which they cannot do since I have a years contract that they are forcing me to abide by despite the fact that they tricked me into signing it.

Finally, they are also asking me to transfer money multiple times. That is, I have sent the money and now they are asking for the same money again and threatening me with the courts.

The customer service is terrible as well. Hard to reach, unresponsive and rude.

This is the literal definition of a scam and I cannot recommend staying far away enough!

Good Les Mills classes, bad everything else

Locker rooms are often poorly ventilated, water in the showers doesn't properly drain and sometimes these facilities smell bad. The overall locker room/shower experience is bad.
The only positive thing I can add is the location and AWESOME classes trainers- Marco, Krisi and Richard are the reason I'm still a member of this gym.
They remove honest reviews from google, hense the huge difference in score here copared to google.

Increased prices out of nowhere!!!!!

In terms of employee stability, professional conduct, and cleanliness, this fitness center leaves a lot to be desired. It's disconcerting to witness such frequent employee turnover, causing one to question the job satisfaction levels of those who work there. Many seem to have a laid-back approach to their responsibilities, resulting in a lack of productivity and efficiency.

Despite being well-equipped with top-tier facilities, it's perplexing to see the center's management struggling to optimally run the operations. The overall administration appears to be quite lackluster, a disappointing factor given the potential value of the available resources.

Another area of concern is the customer service. The fitness center falls dramatically short in providing effective and reliable assistance. The lack of responsiveness can be frustrating for members, which tarnishes the customer experience significantly.

Lastly, the recent hike in the membership fee was introduced without adequate notice or explanation. This action seems to violate the terms stated in the membership contracts, leading to justifiable confusion and discontent among the members. This lack of transparency and respect for the contractual terms further detracts from the center's overall reputation.

Good gym, terrible customer service

The gym facilities and it's equipment are good. It is usually clean and the courses are nice. But that is the only good thing about it.
The personel is terrible, they don't care about you and they spend most of their time chatting on the reception.
And be careful when you sign their contract. They won't let you leave even if you move to another city. Even if you move abroad they won't let you leave, which is my case. I am gone for germany for more then 3 months and they are still making me pay for it. Unbelivable really and honestly sad that they are so desperate to take money from their customer's pockets.
I would advise you to read carfully their contract and consider if there is no better alternative.

One star is still too much

One star is still too much. I'm a member since 2018, Berlin-Wedding.
I've resigned my contract last year. It was confirmed for the 30.10.21
Now I just receive again and again dunning document !!
What is that? Also I've deleted my bank data from my account and you still find a way to get money?
This is just going too far !!

Scheisse Gym

The workers are very conceited, they have no brains, only muscles. The gym always has something that does not work, showers, equipment, changing rooms, sauna, etc ...
They have deceived people, they continued to charge their rates during the months that it was closed with the condition of returning it and without permission from any user.
Many like me have unsubscribed and until they give an answer they have continued to charge and they will not refund the money, they stay and they force you to stay for 1 more year.
They have invented a contract (or modified) that is not the one that each user signed. And now they force you to sign 2 contract options where they DO NOT return your money, if not, they keep it and give you only half the money in time to use the gym.
A shame of gym. The lawyers will drop you short.
I hope they don't automatically answer the same thing:
"vielen Dank für dein Feedback! Wir bedauern, dass du nicht zufrieden warst ...."
Use your brain.

Dishonest, go somewhere else

Incredibly dishonest handling of the customer's money. Charged throughout the whole pandemic, impossible to talk to someone "responsible", impossible to get your money back even after the end of the lockdown. I'm looking up if there is a collective lawsuit or class action

Stay away from them

Stay away from them! I had the same experience as the other posts. Cancelled my subscription but they charged me for another 4 months because they felt like it. I tried to comunicate with them but not a single reply. Maybe it's time to contact the consumer protection agency. With the pandemic a lot of companies showed their true colors and they weren't really good to say the least...

Never ever sign any contract with them

Never ever sign any contract with them. Poor communication and generally they do not care about their customers.
FitOne is badly trying to remove all honest but negative reviews!
FitOne is trying their best to remove bad reviews on other platform but it doesn't change how they charged us for nothing during Covid.
