This is a great fast food cafe. The bacon cheeseburger is the best. Also the all beef hot dog. Add cajun style chips. Yum yum.
The Brooklyn Lager goes well with it all.

I had a ‘grilled cheese’- not sure if it was grilled or just deep fried? Glad I tried it, won’t ever be coming back- terrible, over priced and very poor quality. The wait time was also very long
Poor reply and reason to why this is so bad for such a waste of money- won’t be visiting ever again

This is Five Guys, Nottingham, visited about noon on July 6th 2023.
Firstly the burger that I had was brilliant, it was every bit as good as they claim.
The issues I have are that at over £4 for roughly the equivalent of a 330ml can of drink their fizzy drinks are ENORMOUSLY overpriced, but like all these price-gouging companies, they will charge whatever they can get away with as long as the public is stupid enough to pay it, as I was on this visit.
The main issue for me was the fries, again this company overcharges hugely, but, in the old days they used to half fill the bag with fries so it was, at least trying to, approach better value for money.
I found that the portion of fries was
a) very much smaller than it used to be,
b) nowhere near hot, lukewarm at best, and
c) horribly over salted.
My order [one little hamburger (with grilled onions and ketchup) one regular size fries, and one drink took approximately 12 minutes to arrive - the place was NOT busy.
I suspect that this had far more to do with the fact that the guy doing the cooking was called away to replace the paper roll in the till.
I suspect that my fries were sitting in the bag chilling [literally] and were not replaced with fresh, hot fries when the cooking geezer returned from his paper replacing duties to finish my order.
I am actually very sad about this; I really enjoy Five Guys, but this visit really put me off.
Although, given how quiet the place was (not surprising considering the pure rip off prices) I don't think that the Nottingham branch will be open for much longer; their rent must be exorbitant and until they can get the place back to its best, God I remember having to queue up for ages it was that popular, I reckon it'll fold soon.
When it does I'll miss the burgers
***MY REPLY TO THE FIVE GUYS REPLY***
Five Guys replied at 10am on 10th July basically pointing out that the views I hold are incorrect.
They told me that the fries are the last thing to be added to the bag after spending as least 5 minutes on a hot plate.
I will repeat for the, apparently hard of thinking social media person at Five Guys, my fries were NOT hot; at best they were lukewarm, they were also horribly oversalted.
The oversalting part was not even mentioned.
I am aware that fries SHOULD be served hot - they were not. This is the basis of my unhappiness.
I believe, that at the price they charge for such a small portion of fries the poor old mug punter should be able to expect, AT THE VERY LEAST, absolutely top quality fries. Sadly this is NOT what was delivered. Although, to be fair, they did deliver on THE VERY LEAST part.
However, to look on the positive side, at least Five Guys have got my money, and that, it seems, is their entire raison d'etre.
I feel that I ought to point out that Five Guys' media bot simply stating how things should be in no way addresses the issue, it ignores the issue and belittles the mug punter who took time out to leave a review on here.
Do these bots know how unhappy someone has to be to even bother to do that?
And they just come on here and repeat the company line on how the drinks, presumably if you refill the cup approximately 8 times, are not bad value. B*LL*CKS! Nobody drinks enough to make that price fair, and drink syrups are incredibly cheap - the profit margin on them, even if sold at £1.00 per cup would be huge. This is just price gouging greed.
There are many examples of some brilliant foodie loving outlet setting stunning standards, winning awards, serving BRILLIANT food who then decide to open more branches. This is where things go wrong; the passionate person/people who started the business cannot be in every branch. These branches are run by people who are there for a wage, NOT the opportunity to provide great food. The motivations are completely different, therefore the standards and quality slip. This is what I believe has happened to Five Guys; although I expect their media slave will be along at some point to explain to me that I'm wrong.
PS; I am NOT wrong; those fries WERE COLD!
Instead of trying to re-educate me just fix your problems, Five Guys

I picked up my burger at Nottingham store.vWhen I came to eat it a very short time later the bun was like a wet disintegrating sponge. It really spoilt what was a premium treat burger.
Obviously it pulled the overall enjoyment and taste below that of an M word burger costing 25%. If I spend £11+ on burger and tiny fries then quality should be good.
I contacted them about it and incredibly they refused to offer any kind of goodwill for a ruined meal. Incredibly bad customer service from the customer service team.
Also the toilet roll had been loaded incorrectly so I couldn't use the disabled toilet as the paper was impossible to get too. I won't be darkening their doors again.

Good food but way over priced definitely disappointed with pricing
