Horrible place. I found it very unhygienic with people coughing over the food to be served to customer and then advertising “hala” food were animal not only are killed but BRUTALLY killed… very disappointing to have such a place in Brighton and Hove.
We all left right away.

Fresh food. Helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Gave me a free replacement Egg Benedict when a seagull swooped down and ate half of mine as I got up up to get a napkin. It was a very tasty dish..really nice Hollandaise sauce!

The food was good, fresh, wholesome and nicely dressed. I bought 3 salads and the butter bean stew which cost 12:50 to take away. I was not told there was a 8: 50 option and although I asked for them to be heated hot, they were merely warm and for the price the portions were small.

Had our second visit to Foodilic in Brighton yesterday. Extremely impressed with freshly prepared food. Various options but we went for two salads and a main at £9.99, which was exceptional value.We went for vegan and vegetarian options , of which there are many ( including a whole menu of vegan burgers) but the meat options looked very good too.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall looking forward to visiting regularly and would highly recommend

Purchased two meals to eat in where one was a beef goulash with three side salads. Upon sitting down and tasting the goulash it was stone cold. Took it back to the counter for reheating and was still waiting for it to be returned 10 minutes later. When I approached the counter asking where my food was it was still in the microwave forgotten about. Appalling customer service and would not recommend this establishment at all.

My wife, little boy, and I used to go here a lot. It used to be a buffet, help yourself. Food was hot - delicious.

NOW - Staff unhappy and unmotivated - food price has doubled and you get one serving that the staff gives you. Both my wife and I had to almost beg for them to add more. So, basically, half a plate of food for twice the price and no option for a top-up if you're hungrier than normal.
The food was cold by the time we got to sit down.
Another irritating thing was that they made us pay before we could take our food.
This love affair is over - will not be returning.

I usually come here and the service is ok. But today specifically I went in during a busy time when there was no cutlery. (The store just had a rush and died down when I came in) I asked one of the girls to grab me cutlery as there wasn’t any. One of the girls kindly washed a set of cutlery for me. As I was making a second plate, Another staff member took my cutlery away by accident. The one who I had asked originally washed cutlery off for me was assisting a customer, so she asked a woman with orange-brown hair (possibly Romanian origin) to wash off cutlery for me.. she did everything but give me a fork. The rude staff member knew I needed a fork but had an attitude as if she didn’t want to give me a fork. I waited... and the other girl saw me waiting in front of the counter and asked the rude one if she could clean a fork for me.. she stated yeah ok still washing plates.. the other staff member asked her again... and said.. a fork? She grabs a fork.... starts washing it.. leaves it in the sink... rinses off a plate... the staff asks the rude staff member again... and now the rude staff member is rinsing our the sink... This happened 5 times. Which is totally unacceptable?? I’m baffled this evening happened to me today. Not ok. I won’t be returning.

Simply incredible food, the store in Brighton is looking a bit tired and tatty however and does need a refurb.
Price for drinks is too expensive really, most drinks are £2.90 which is a lot when the buffet is only £6.99.
