Terrible customer service.
Even with a mobility guarantee after paying extra money, a meitwagen wasnt provided. The Car had a malfunction indicator light on, and a Person from ADAC was sent to check. He informed us to take the car immediately to service station.
Though we are entitled for a replacement car for free for 2 days atleast, this wasnt given. Neither the servicecentre nor ford assistance or the kundenzentrum helped. There is always a ping pong between the three, and no one really cares to help the customer!
Ford Assistance had sent an sms saying meitwagen is arranged and then finally ford assistance washed its hands off, saying since we took the car ourself to the werkstatt a rentewagen isnt allowed. Its rather senseless, because its a failure in the Ford vehicle system and not our mistake as a user/customer. We are left without a car, with a small toddler to be dropped and picked from day care, especially with rain now, it has been a terrible experience.It is rather unpleasant dealing with them.
Its been 3+ days since and we dont know when our car would be returned, nor we have a backup arranged.
Lessons learnt, never drive the car yourself to werkstatt and ask ford assistance to arrange a pickup!
Really bad service, no sense of ownership. Garage service is expensive and even with new cars I always had the feeling they are ripping me bad. I had a lot of issues with newly bought car e.g. battery replacement, wrongly administrated warranty, bonnet could not close properly for which every service said that it is not a warranty coverage. I have a really bad experience with the service and the support.
Had my Ford Fiesta for over 10 years now, but more than happy with Ford's customer services in both the UK and Germany. :-)
