Had a great experience overall with Frames Direct. Used my prescription from my local eye doctor to order a backup pair of glasses online at a great price. Because I was ordering the exact same pair I bought in person, just in a different color, I was very confident in ordering online. I've done this twice now, and it's been great. While shipping took a little longer than I expected, they were worth the wait. Look and feel great. Would highly recommend.

Commerce website was clunky, clumsy and difficult to navigate. It was difficult to move selection to shopping cart and then it took several attempts to provide payment and shipping information.

I stumbled on to Framesdirect while glasses shopping, as they had the frames I was looking for and offered the best price+options for me. Entering insurance information was very straightforward, and after uploading my prescription I received my new glasses within ~2 weeks. Would happily recommend and will gladly shop with them again!

Exchange process is poor
Initial order went smooth but I had to process an exchange and there is no insight or communication regarding the replacement frames. It has been over a week and I have no idea when I’ll receive the new frames or if they’re even being processed

inventory not reliable
I ordered a pair of glasses, got an email they were out of stock, and when I went to order a different frame the first frames were still on the website.
After picking different frames I had no issues.

I would have given 5⭐️’s but I didn't like the amber/grey lenses. Yuk! I ordered brown turquoise frames and thought the lenses were a light brown to match frames. Boy was I surprised and would have shopped elsewhere for the brown lenses. I had a previous pair like this and they went missing. I was replacing the item, because I really liked this specific type of sunglasses and it had BROWN lenses. Overall these specific sunglasses are fabulous, and GUESS did their thing on this type of frame.

I was honestly questioning whether the Oakleys were authentic at first because the price was so much cheaper than anywhere else. After receiving them, I can confidently say they are 100% authentic. The quality is exactly what you’d expect from Oakley, with no compromises at all. Shipping was prompt and everything arrived well-packaged. Overall, Frames Direct has even better prices than competitors and I would definitely buy from them again.
