Sold my house via the modern method of auction..thanks to a recommendation by Allison Pallister. The process from beginning to end was seamless..would highly recommend!
Rented a property through Frank Innes
Rented a property through Frank Innes, Derby (12 months) and I have to say it has been the worst decision and experience of my entire life. Staff bent over backwards for me until my contract was signed and despite being told that the 'landlord wanted to put things right for me, after the previous tenant left the property in a very poor condition' this failed to happen. This agency neglects all duty of care for tenants. I have now progressed 2 complaints to the ombudsman as the agent refuses to take responsibility and is laying blame on the landlord. I'm not entirely sure who is worse! Throughout the 12 months, there was no inspections and had there been, my time at the property would not have been spent reporting an issue/fault every other week.
Despite this, they have very quickly re-marketed the property, again using images that are extremely old and do not represent the state of the actual property. I would never use Frank Innes again, nor would I recommend to any friends or family.
Even Ombudsman intervention was ignored
Rented through Frank Innes Loughborough - repairs took weeks to enact, some were never resolved e.g. damp ingress. Communication very poor, felt like a second class citizen because I was renting. Return of deposit took several months and a complaint to the ombudsman - despite confirming payment would be made it was still withheld. Would not trust again.
Discusting customer service
Absolute discusting way of treating people!! Natalie at Chesterfield branch no customer service what's so ever. After leaving the house we rented we couldn't get a company to do a "deep" clean on the house. And we couldn't cut the grass due to snow. We were treated like the worst people in the world. And we received a rude email from Natalie. It's taken months and months to apparently get quotes for stuff. Seems like the go to extremes to take all your money off you so you get no bond back. Would never use Frank Innes again if that's how you get spoken to
Brilliant team at Nottingham - Emily and Alison
The team at Frank Innes have been amazing, especially Emily and Alison from the Nottingham branch. They were always friendly. Accommodated various viewings at short notice. Even arranged for the keys to be delivered to a nearer branch for me to pick up. Will definitely recommend. Well done!
We were amazed with our agent
We were amazed with our agent, Lydia, of Frank Innes, for her continual supports, she answered our inquiries without delays, follow up our issues with extra efforts, her over the top services cannot be found anywhere else in Derby. We highly recommend Lydia to our friends and everyone who requires top graded services with care.
God awful
God awful! My husband put an offer in on a property, in excess of the asking price. To be told the vendor would prefer a cash buyer. It didn't say this in the listing and he even spoke to the estate agent and they never said this. My husband drove 2 hours to view this property. The estate agent said they would tell the vendor of our offer and get back to us. 3 days later, still not heard anything back so I put in a request to view the property to receive a phone call saying it had been sold, they never even told us our offer had been rejected.
Rude imbeciles, need to be more transparent about things
Bradley in the West Bridgford Office…
Bradley in the West Bridgford Office was brilliant at organising my new tenants contract and sorting this as smoothly as possible especially in such a short space of time. Thanks so much!
Waiting for the deposit refund for over 3 months!
I am waiting for over 3 months now to get a refund for the deposit. The property rented from Frank Innes West Bridgford was handed over back in Oct 2021 in very good condition with no reason to retain even £1 from the deposit. Every week I was told that someone will get back to me. This looks like a scam for me!
Avoid! Dangerous and lazy
Avoid! I am not one to ever write reviews but for the sake of future customers- This agency neglects all duty of care for tenants and represents illegal landlords. Even in the light of blatant law breaking from a ‘self managing’ landlord they represent, (including a burst heating pipe for months causing additional issues such as flooding and damp), intimidation and bullying, the agency did nothing.
In addition they sold the property incorrectly at the beginning of the lease, failing to disclose points of interest requested by the landlord to be passed on to prospective tenants. They also made errors in the contract. Just avoid at all costs, there are some fantastic, impartial but supportive agencies in Chesterfield, this is not one of them.
Zoe and a great team
The team at Frank Innes in Mansfield are very professional and friendly. Zoe Twells went over and above in ensuring that my sale was on course. She dealt with all enquiries promptly, professionally and in a friendly manner. I knew that i could always rely on her to do whatever I asked her to do.
I can strongly recommend Zoe and the lettings and sale teams at Frank Innes in Mansfield.

Excellent service from Rishi who kept us informed every step of the way so far. His professional approach highlighted how poor our own selling agent was in comparison. We have no hesitation in recommending him and his colleagues at Glumangate Chesterfield.

From start to finish we have nothing but excellent service from Alice and her team at Frank Innes Derby.
Thank you for all your help and would definitely recommend them to family and friends
Team Support! My First Investment :)
I am in the process of purchasing a house with Frank Innes Sutton in Ashfield. Professionalism from Lewis Moss - Sales Negotiator has been outstanding! He is knowledgeable and certainly an approachable individual with excellent customer service. As a first-time investor, the world of property is extremely daunting. I understand that estate agents deal with 'big' money and keen investors. Never once have I felt that my questions posed was insignificant or irrelevant. My lack of experience in this area did not phase Lewis at all. In fact, him sharing /educating me whilst viewing the property solidified the deal for me. A huge thank you, we are grateful! Additionally, prior to searching in Sutton In Ashfield, I have been liaising with Kirsty Kay in Mansfield, who kindly supported me with her knowledge of the area... and always responded to my inundated emails; about locations and potential future tenants. I appreciate that when she was not available Corinne Scott was happy to help, speedily responding to my enquiries. I look forward to this company and staff also managing our property as I feel confident in their experience, but most importantly their humble optimism and excitement about the projects our family are undertaking.
So far so good!
I contacted Frank Innes about letting my house out, and within a week it had been put on the market, had 2 viewings and a holding deposit put down. Another week later and the contracts were signed. Impressed and relieved with the quick and easy process.
They’ve also been really great with communication so far, keeping me up to date with the viewings etc.
Thanks Olivia & Lydia!
Eric Smith
After contacting Frank inns for a viewing of a apartment.
We were meet at the location by Eric, who showed us round the apartment in a very professional manner, and was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the apartment.
Eric is a credit to your company
Extremely poor service
We made an offer on a house and needed confirmation of acceptance or refusal as our own house has sold, having made numerous calls that go through to voicemail, leaving a message and emailing to find out where we stand we’ve decided to give up, as they obviously don’t want to deal with us, and look for something else.
Throughout ut our lives we’ve dealt with many estate agents but Frank Innes (or maybe just the Loughborough branch) have come across as totally unprofessional.
I’m unsure if the seller is aware that we’re pulling our offer, as his estate agent have declined to contact us!
I’ve noticed that for each review Frank Innes replies with the same off the cuff spiel to every one. Sorry this isn’t good enough, as you are affecting people ability to move on!

I've just spoken to Cathy who couldn't be more helpful. I explained that I'm looking at properties with a view of investing but that I'm a newbie so need some guidance. She gave me great tips, and volunteered to put in in touch with the lettings team for advice on tenants etc.
She's a credit to your company.
Lack communication
Applied for property on the Saturday morning gave all the relevant info over the phone was told they had 1 applicant already.
I was asked if I could could cut short my camping trip to get back on the Sunday afternoon for a viewing after 3.30. He said he would call me back with more info.
Not a word! blanked my phone calls to the mobile he rang me off. I rang back Monday morning to be told it was let and they had had 6 applications. I was told only myself and 1 other on Saturday??
When did these people have viewings?? The office is closed Sundays?
Something not quite right here.
Very unprofessional no communication or honesty.
