Lufthansa FRA wheelchair LIES

Disgusting experience: wheelchair confirmed days in advance by Lufthansa but never provided at FRA.

Worse yet: a woman in uniform WALKED us to another level and through security, then said “sit here and an electric cart will come.” BULL HORNKY. She lied through her teeth - - - all chairs were taken as no cart had come for 20 minutes. Angry folks were missing their connections and this woman said she KNEW NOTHING.

Lufthansa’s in-terminal operations at FRA are a dysfunctional system from HELL.

A horridly late arrival made my Lufthansa connection too narrow to wait around so sadly and painfully I WALKED to the far away gate which had broken passenger conveyors belts along the way.

Frankfort Airport and Lufthansa airlines are run by demonic perverted fools and idiots who create a subtlety manipulated experience of abuse.

Lose the crap about an electric cart when a wheelchair pushed by a human being who meets me at the door of the aircraft is what was CONFIRMED.

Instead the plane was parked miles out on the tarmac and anyone getting off is instantly faced with 24 metal stairs and a steep step up onto a transport bus without enough seats for elderly and handicapped passengers. What an utter load of rubbish !

Lufthansa consistently deals out dishonest rot and should have it’s wings clipped, licenses to operate revoked in EU and USA until they can fly right and STOP LYING to passengers.

The worst hub I ever saw.

The worst hub I ever saw.
To change Terminal you need to take a super full bus, packed as animals, and if you can get in, you lose not less than 20 min. If you fly to US be ready to be confined in a square area without shops and with a broken toilet. If you need a coffee you have to go out and then through the security checks again.
Unbelievable.

Flight EY212 from Abu Dhabi …

Flight EY212 from Abu Dhabi All passengers were directed to Terminal 1 C to claim baggage. The sign was saying exactly the opposite, and when I pointed that to the clerk, she said that we were coming from Terminal 1 C.
Very odd, since we landed in Terminal 2 D.
I followed the instructions given anyway along with all the passengers.
We walked to Terminal 1 C to claim our baggage just to hear from another clerk with Lufthansa uniform that we had to go back to Terminal 2 D to claim the baggage.
The clerk behavior was extremely unpolite and arrogant.
Customer service at level zero.

Priority lounge/ prison mess hall

Well Frankfurt looks like you guys are really kicking some customer service goals here. Priority lounge is crowded and stinks of cheap sausage. Lift your game significantly please. Although I’m not holding out hope when writing this as I see you have managed to collect quite the number of undesirable reviews. Thankyou for making the flying experience just that little bit worse.

My experience is related to Tax Refund…

My experience is related to Tax Refund and guess what the counter was close upon asking they mentioned it will open the next day. LIKE LITERALLY! How’s the airport even functioning like with the basic services. We asked few co passengers who was travelling with us to India they mentioned even we put up our request in the drop box which was just right next to the TR counter they never bother to get back to us. The Luxury products that you buy in Germany will never be able to give you Tax Refund if you have valid receipts. Really disappointing nevertheless to mentioned the behaviour of the staff is always rude wherever you go in Germany. No Professionalism👎

Worst experience ever

Almost all service desks (Lufthansa) are closed. If you want to find one open you need to walk for more than 50 minutes. Really. Literally. Than when it’s finally your turn, you meet an unfriendly face saying that everything you suggest is impossible and you just have to except a 9 hour (!) delay. Then you can walk back, if you’re lucky on a (very short) working conveyor belt.
In short, distances between ‘stations’ is way too long, personnel is (sometimes) unfriendly / slightly arrogant. Many sausage booths are in the way… oh and toilets I have experienced are cramped and dirty…

Worst airport

Worst airport! Security staff are rude and seem to derive some pleasure from leaving your suitcase an absolute mess. Basic manners like please/thank you and not barking orders at everyone like a prison guard would be welcome. Few water bottle filling stations; the one I found was out of order. Cafes can't fill from their taps.."water not good" to quote staff. In Germany, tap water isn't drinkable? Very few food choices if you are connecting flights in terminal 1; you're stuck with their overpriced *one* bistro that seems to be replicated at every gate.

Takes the things u buy in tax free
Awful airport!! I bought energidrinks for 270 dkk = 36 Euro in cph airport in tax free. Had the receipt...
I land in Frankfurt where I have a connecting flight to Jordan. I still do have these redbull with me, because normally u can take it all the way.
They took them all from me and threw them out.
This is the first time this has ever happened and I am furious. They could see that I bought it in another airport..

Worst airport experience we have ever…

Worst airport experience we have ever had. We flew into terminal B from US and needed to get to terminal A for connecting flight. No signage, no assistance, no communication. Stood in line for 45 minutes in a line to catch a bus to terminal A- to then stand in this strange line with no signage to go through passport control for another 45 minutes with 6 agents trying to process what had to be hundreds and hundreds of people standing in a winding line through the building with no end in sight. We will never ever transfer through this airport again. Then we took another bus to get to our plane in terminal A that was a horrible experience. Every person was annoyed and complaining. Our luggage was left outside in the rain and when we arrived and claimed our luggage it was lucky our tags were still on with the transfer airport tags. They were falling apart from being left in the rain outside on the tarmac in Frankfort. Rude uncaring horrible airport. I thought Germany was known for its engineering which would assume they could build an airport with reasonable care in mind and engineering for flow through conditions- hell to the no! Does not exist. And the gate agents- could care a less.

All staff should be flogged

Worst shower of würstsuckers i've ever dealt with, was left 6 and half hours sitting in a 50° shuttle bus with 800 people crammed inside. My 4 year old child didn't make it through the experience and i was left with third degree burns covering my entire body

“Can this ai“Can this airport burn down in flames” will be your thoughtsrport burn down in flames”…

“Can this airport burn down in flames” will be your thoughts

I have been using weekly the Frankfurt Airport in the years 2012-2018 and I have recently gone back there

I remember, it was a good airport, and now it has an inefficient, disgraceful, piece of sh..t

Here is my experience in the 3 hours, I was there.

1) The Rental Car stations signage is a total trash. Assuming one manages to drop their car on time, finding the way to the Departure flights is a game of mastermind. Plan 30 extra minutes for it

2) Once someone is in T2, there is NO INFO whatsoever about the Lufthansa flights. One needs to ask for the helpers to find out, that Lufthansa is actually in T1 (no other airport in the world, makes this process so complex!)

3) To go from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 (the famous Lufthansa Terminal) is a total horror. I was told from the helpers on the ground (who speak no German by the way) to go outside (7 Celsius) and get a shuttle bus (?)
As you can imagine, outside there is no shuttle bus and the only one present is closed. Interesting enough, inside this one, there is a person who pretends not to see me waving at him asking for help or information – the classic egoistic behavior of “@sshole Germans” (masters of unhelpfulness)

4) I return inside the damned Terminal 2 and I see that there is some sort of “Sky train “going to T1 (The “helper” did not mention that) In the meantime she is disappeared. As you follow the directions, you come across broken escalators. The elevator behind it is full, but you do not see it very well, as there is a queue of over 30 people waiting to board it.

--> I load my 25KG Bag, plus my hand luggage, plus my backpack and adventure myself over the stairs (“can this airport burn down in flames” are my thought since I came in).
Once at the top, you end up in an abandoned construction site, with fences everywhere. There is no signage and a dead monitor showing a line of 8 large X on a blue, dead screen. Below it, a bunch of clueless people looking around and trying to understand if they are in Germany or in Uzbekistan

5) Passport control. As you approach it, there are signage ( yeah!) : right direction for EU citizens. Left direction for all others. As a EU citizen, I go right, to find out, that all automatic machine are not working. There is no sign, no info, no communication.

Behind those machines 2 police officers in their bunkers. As I wave them, letting them know, that EU citizens are stuck, they mumble something, which I perceive as they are done for the day and can walk away. Once again the typical Germany unfriendliness and unhelpfulness – the correct stereotype.

To the airport: A free advice I can give you: when you employ people who do not give a sh@t about their job and your business, just leave them home. Sooner or later you will lose your business. Customers are not stupid

6) The customer “service” of Lufthansa which is there to steal money and get people to pay twice the price of the ticket, will be dealt with separately with those scammers from Lufthansa Germany
Frankfurt am Main: overall zero stars for having been transformed into one of the s@ittiest Airport in the world, thanks to its world war infrastructure, disastrous communication, unfriendly and unhelpful employees.

Staff is so rude

Staff is so rude, I don’t know if they are all equally burned out or what. It’s kind of weird how they all behave the same way. I feel bad for them, it must suck to hate your job, damn!

Very poor offer in this airport even the basics are not fulfilled

Very objectively I had to pass by this airport during 2024 and I can say that it’s really near 0 in term of services, if only it was about the non existing extra services but no! The minimum of services are not provided properly, not enough seats, you have to lunch or to breakfast standing up because the public spaces of the airport are undersized in comparison to the number of people going around in the airport, the toilets are real mess, not clean, smelling bad, the food offer is undersized so you have to wait everywhere 10 to 20 minutes, the duty free offer is very minimal, smoking room are bounded and ventilation not working, spaces are ugly and not attractives, I personally didn’t find places to charge my phone or laptop except one space provided with 6 plugs and for sure bounded.
You guys you need to review the full public zone because you are not giving a good image of your country.
Big big deception specially for the minimal services

Worst airport EVER for wheelchair assist

Worst airport I've ever experienced for wheelchair assist!! We waited 45 minutes for a wheelchair, were treated extremely rudely, and actually had the attendant who showed up, shove my mother (who is a tiny, sweet woman) in her wheelchair into the crowd and throw down her bag, then abandon us. We had to run through this huge airport pushing a wheelchair and only made our flight because it was 45 minutes late. This was our 3rd, but definitely the worst, bad experience at this airport. We will NOT travel through Frankfurt again.

worst experience ever

worst experience ever, humiliating and intimidatory behavior of a ZOS in customs. Will avoid going to Germany forever.
Tried to do paperwork for tax refund of items bought in Spain (last port of departure Frankfurt) and I got abused but a junior low IQ "ZOS" with grandneur delusions or trying to impress his superior. Looking over the shoulder of people, shouting and out of his mind.
Embarrassing for Germany.
Whoever reads this, please avoid at all costs, be very careful if having to deal with German customs
