We recently purchased a house and used Fraser Brown and they were great. We used Debbie Commons and she was great. Handled all my endless emails quickly and was always on the other end of the phone. I’d heard lots of nightmare stories about solicitors and how drawn out the process would be but even with a good few complications being thrown in, it was turned around so quickly and I’m so grateful.

Wont be using again!
Have used Fraser Brown for Years & Years with Family Business & personal.
So feel very let down & feel we are not important enough nor a big enough sale to bother with.
Sale of a family property took ages to go through, not confirmed price at the beginning. so said he would do our leases for free! after chasing for months I give up. and to add insult to injury I emailed to complain! and surprise--- no reply :-(

We have used many different solicitors and never had a good experience. Fraser Brown worked on two property purchases at the same time for me and i would recommend them. All members were friendly and helpful and felt at ease with them first time ever with solicitors. If I contacted via email would get a response within the day and never had to chase them. If i called they would always be helpful. Will be using them again, very happy. They also kept me updated with any changes or concerns throughout the purchases.

I recently moved house which involved Fraser Brown of Nottingham representing the buyer of my property. What a nightmare that turned out to be.
Initially they appeared quite keen but how wrong was I. Dragged the whole process out, insisting on me as a seller to cover some legal fees for the buyer. My solicitor had told them on more than one occasion I wouldn’t be doing so (three weeks to be exact). So they started filling the estate agents with rubbish who then started hassling me to persuade/guilt me in to paying.
Failed to correspond with my solicitor several times. Again would liaise with the estate agents but not a word to my solicitor.
Unprofessional to say the least. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Richard Wollacott has been an absolute magician with our purchase. He was always easy to get hold of, everything was clearly explained from ambiguous terminology to the detail in the covenenents. I cannot thank him and his team enough for their incredibly professional service.

Wanted to buy my house outright removing the help to buy element. Luca Trivagno was superb from start to finish, ensuring regular contact by email and phone, ensuring all documentation was in place and providing an extremely efficient service. Would well recommend

We made the mistake of engaging Fraser Brown in June 2017 for what should have been a simple and straightforward commercial lease extension for a SUBWAY sandwich shop; owing to their incompetence it took 8 months to complete.
Since June 2017 when our previous lease expired we lived under the constant threat of losing our shop and our livelihood. There were weeks where no progress was made. Our calls and e mails requesting updates frequently went unanswered. When they did come back to us their tone was often surly and arrogant.
They posted correspondence to the wrong address and we didn’t receive correspondence they claimed to have sent. Delays were always blamed on other parties.
In the end, after 8 months of stress, they held us to ransom: if we didn’t pay their fees (which we still dispute) they would not complete.
If you are looking for an experienced solicitor whom you can trust to represent you well and your company’s best interest, do not engage Fraser Brown.
