The app have a good review because it's gives you a free key if rate it.

I have not experienced any spam or scary popup links while using it. The free version is a bit slow, but - I'm happy to use it. The company offered a free upgrade if you write a positive review - but they never replied to me. So, I don't really trust them.

I needed a downloader, found this on GOOGLE, tried it, and it worked. No Problems

Whomever I've been dealing with through Jira refuses to provide support for the issue I reported. This genius expected me to send a list of EVERY movie on Netflix that had the problem. (I don't actually work for you, it's the other way around.) The ticket closed 5 days later with no resolution. The email I received informing me that the ticket was closed specifically told me to open a new ticket if the problem hadn't been resolved. I did exactly that and then the "hard working superstar" told me not to do that because it makes tracking bugs more difficult. (THAT'S NOT HOW THESE SYSTEMS WORK.) They deleted my new ticket after posting to the closed ticket and now they've deleted that ticket too. Professional? Not even close. Competent? Dream on.

Hi, I used FlixGrab from FreeGrabApp for quite a while now, and I'm liking it.
FlixGrab allows you to Download Movies and Episodes from Series to your PC. You can select your own Resolution, Video Quality and Audio Quality depending on your Storage needs.
I personally used FlixGrab for quite some time and I had my fun with it. It works quite well. I used it for Downloading Episodes and Movies from Amazon Prime and Netflix without much trouble. I selected my wanted Video Quality, most Series were downloading without a Problem, only sometimes I needed to add the Episodes manually, but it rarely happened.
Furthermore, I can't understand some critics the other users have given. The download speed depends on your Quality settings and the Hardware you are using. Bad and Old Hardware results in low speeds because every Video needs to be encoded.
The other thing is, FlixGrab requires your Account login information because they need to log in, in your own Account. For Example, when you buy a Series/ Movie from Amazon Prime, you want to download it or not? How would they have Access otherwise?
But well even I had some Problems with FlixGrab, but most of the Time after a quick Bug Report most of them have been resolved relatively quick.

All in all, I really like FlixGrab from FreeGrabApp for what it is and for what it can do.

No subtitles of the film can be downloaded. After subscription in January 2022, no films have been downloaded. After sent enquires, no one answer. Rubbish app.

I purchased a Hulu free grab app and after a few downloads it says invalid license. I have left several help request with nothing but do not send more than one request.

I travel a lot and sometimes I don't have the ability to be connected to internet. which means I have to download all my tv shows in advance and because some streaming services don't have the download option, or they don't have it for all the movies and shows, I had to find an alternative.
I didn't want to believe that an app could be this useful. It is very easy to use, and there is nothing scatchy about it. Their website is also very easy to navigate and all questions i had, i could find the answer easily. It took me a long time to find an app that would do exactly what i wanted. I am not much of an reviewer, but this made me so happy I just had to post a review. when there is a movie or a tv show that can't be downloaded directly on Netflix, FreeGrabApp is my lifesaver. I only miss the ability to change the downloaded video format (mp4 vs. mkv) so I might have to use another tool to convert. Also, it's not entirely free, but that was something i already expected.
Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about FreeGrabApp.

There are shows that can just up and disappear, and with no alternate way to watch them (can't buy a BluRay or even a DVD version!). This lets you preserve those rare shows, and it does to in the simplest way possible. Paste the URL, click download. Worth every penny.

Super easy tool, I like it! Actually nothing more could be added. But let me tell you my opinion and my experiences with other alternative tools.
The FreeGrabApp is not an overloaded allrounder like some other tools, which can do everything but nothing good. It has no unnecessary functions, which you don't use in daily work anyway. One program - one purpose!
Simply paste the link, click download, and youre done. Some options are available, but I use the settings to set general options for all download jobs.
I only miss the ability to change the downloaded video format (mp4 vs. mkv) so I might have to use another tool to convert (which again can only convert videos - and nothing else. But it does that great! I use dBpoweramp Video Converter).
I recommend this tool without any restrictions to everyone who wants to easily download Amazon Prime videos to disk, without having to use the Amazon player.
