Dear Freelacermap team, thank you for your reply. I am glad to hear that you will review the way you're sending (better said NOT SENT) renewal notifications ... and that you say you CARE about your customers.
Maybe in the future you could, instead of hiding behind the small notes and disclaimers, proove that you really care by refunding, especially when people tell you this immediately after you put your hand in their pockets and charged them the real fee (2x).
Any way, I am very dissapointed, very dissapointed in your service and your attitude.
Despide this, my feedback is a real and honest one... related to your service, your policy and your customer relation policies.
‐-------------------------------
I was highly disappointed by the overall service but mostly by their customer support and 'professionalism'. Clearly, their focus is not helping the paying customers.
To be a bit more specific:
A) projects and postings: if you are not really an IT person (e.g. SAP consultant) this may not be the right place for you. Most of the Project Posting consultants... just send projects randomly without paying attention to your skills. Maybe they do not have the option to select the right filters - it's hard to say. Overall, the rate of reply to oneÄs enquiries is quite small anyway - so the value for the money paid seems way to small to me.
This is why, I wanted to cancel... but then:
B) - customer service and subscription: you need to remember to cancel the subscription a few weeks before. There are no reminders or flexibility.
Their business model seems to rely on tricking you to test their platform and... then... get your money.
You will get surprised when you will be charged (if you check your account frequently) for the renewal - as I said, without a warning and without any chance to claim anything back.
According to them, this is their POLICY and you should have read it carefully when you enrolled.
Well, long story short, unless you are an SAP consultant, the chances for you to make this subscription worth ... are nearly ZERO; the business model seems to rely on getting you on board and then making sure you are charged again, at least once... (or if you do not see in time... more times).
Be careful and avoid. There are other options there. Maybe slightly more expensive... but it is definitely more customer-focused.

They can't cancel my account instantly, they need to be warned 2 weeks in advance before starting a new payment period and now want me to pay for the next month even if I remove my account immediately. Sure, it is always more comfortable to deal with a client if you slightly twist off his arms. Be cautious, these guys are about taking your money, not about real service. And unavailability to read full mail on basic account is irritating. This all would have been not very bad, if the site worked for you, but with few requests over some years, hmm? Well, I was loyal to them all this time, but I quit now.

1. Profit vor Fainess
2. Transaktion vor Kunden-Beziehung
In unsere AGBs bla bla...
What is your refund policy?
Our simple refund policy is - we'll do what is fair. We make Padlet to make you happy, not to rip you off. For example:
If you signed up for Padlet Backpack in the last month and are not happy with it, we'll give you a full refund.
If you were just charged for your next month/year of Padlet Backpack and you meant to cancel, we'll refund you the new charge.
If you forgot to cancel a couple of months ago and you haven't used Padlet since, we'll give you a refund for the back months, no problem.
If you pay for the annual plan and want to cancel it 6 months in, we will treat your last 6 months as being on month-to-month plan and refund you the difference.
If your situation is not as clear-cut as above, we are happy to work with you to find a solution that is fair.
Geld zu bekommen ohne eine Dienstleistung ist sehr kurzsichtig und es bestätigt eure 1. 2. und 3. Prioritäte.

Dear face-less freelancermap support.
it's very easy to hide behind the label "Support von freelancermap" as a person-less and face-less organization.
Let me get this straight. Even though I canel the subscription a day before the exiry, you AGBs get you covered, one needs to cancel a month in advance???
I can understand that in real-estate, where one needs to prepare the apartment for the next renter, in order to avoid missing cash flow in the future. But on your platform, one month in advance cancalation is total nonsense. What's the reasoning behind? To rent my profile to other future users??? Or let's utilize the very probabilistic forgetfullness of our users and squeeze a couple of more Euros out of them??
In order to charge, you need to consider the value your provide. I myself too Am running several business and I rather concentrate on the value of the relationship rather than squeezing Euros out of the customers. But again, that's just me.
Now getting back to the value your portal provides. In the last 12 month, I'm getting ZERO leads from your portal. Most of them come from Xing and LinkedIn, so the value your portal provides to me is equal ZERO. That is at the same time the reason, I forget about your subscription :)
Instead of begging for review stars, concentrate on building relationships with customers and provide actual value and then charge for it. And you are right this should not be a 1-star review. It should be a 0-star review!
You mentioned other five star reviews. I would doubt that those reviews are real reviews as most of the users look for this kind of review tools, once they have negative experience. If I'm satisfied with your service, I would brag to my friends on social networks, and not here... I would really question your five star reviews :)
Don't worry, you will get your money for:
1. My deleted account (ZERO VALUE)
2. Paid for the next 2 years
Just because of your AGBs. Because you are so preoccupied with being RIGHT, rather than providing real VALUE.
Now, a couple of friendly advices, cause I see your trying to make yourself look good:
1. Reconsider the AGBs to incorporate some fairness cuz yes, people forget about subscriptions and I already gave you an example with Padlet
2. Put your real name, to get the feel that I'm talking to a real person and not some face-less organization
Have a great my dear friendly freelancermap support!
