Had a pair of Skis delivered with bindings unmounted despite sending the owner of the shop mounting instructions and boot sole length.
No response to my emails or calls after 2 days.
Unfortunately until this is resolved I wouldn't recommend using this company for online orders.

I just purchased some ski poles through Freetime and the customer service was excellent. As with most things I left little time to get the poles delivered for my sons birthday on Friday but I called Freetime and nothing was too much trouble. They processed my order immediately and caught today's post despite missing the deadline.
Great company, great service, will be using you again.

Ordered hiking boots from freetime1.co.uk. Received them, but unfortunately the boots were narrow for my feet.
Nick helped me through the refund process. I shipped them back, received the refund from freetime.
Everything went well, I would recommend this company.

Great service and very speedy delivery

I knew the walking boots I wanted to buy. The product was cheaper on this site, the delivery was speedy. Overall very happy with purchase.

I suffer more than most from cold hands and after half an hour's skiing at -10C I had to resort to a cafe where my hands throbbed painfully for 20 minutes as they warmed up. At -5C and above, they were OK. I tried these gloves thinking technology might have improved since I bought my last pair in the mid-Eighties, but it doesn't appear to have. If you suffer from cold hands, stick with mittens.

I have shopped both instore and online at Freetime for many years finding the staff are much more friendly and helpful compared to most large online retailers who do not have the product knowledge or experience in my outdoor pursuits. They are all Outdoor Enthusiasts themselves !
I like the quality of the products they stock such as Arcteryx Haglofs , Salomon, Rab and Line to name a few. Freetime is also the only Ski and Snow Boarding shop in Carlisle and in the South of Scotland. So if you are shopping either online or can visit the shop you will not be disappointed with the service, quality of products on offer and helpful staff to give you all the advice you need.

I hobbled into this shop with a problem with my foot (Plantar Fasciitis) and in a great deal of pain.

The knowledge and expertise shown by the staff was second to none and I was fitted ( By Alex ? I think) with a custom made insole and walked out of the shop an hour later in comfort, the effect was at a personal level almost biblical ! I also bought probably the best fitting light walking shoe I have ever had .

My wife, as I was getting sorted also toured the shop and got the same level of expertise and advice that I was experiencing .

These people really know their business and care that the customer gets what they need and the equipment they hold in shop is extensive and of the highest quality . Could't recommend them more highly .

This company's website I found to be misleading. The prices are listed in US Dollars and shoe sizes simply as a number ie: "8"
So I ordered my shoe size and didn't realise it was a UK company. Shoes arrived in a UK size which are too big. Customer service was unwilling to help - and would not recognize that their site was misleading.
It would be as simple as listing shoe sizes as 8UK-- especially if the prices are in US dollars. Beware- they do not seem like a very reputable company. Very poor experience.

These guys had the best price on the web for the Salomon quest helmet and couldn't fault the service received. Would definitely recommend and will use again.

I was very pleased to be able to get Brasher laces as I can't get them in the US at all and I have an old pair of hiking boots that I want to hang onto. Service was fast considering it was sent international. Happy to recommend them!

Not the best price out there - still competitive though - and the best of those that had stock when I needed to order. Delivery was free and it was delivered AM the next day. Can't say fairer than that. Great service. Very pleased.

Great product range. You just have to ask and Freetime climb + ski will do their best to get you fixed up. Personal service and sound product knowledge from active users.
