Excellent soft play - thoroughly recommend.

Great set up in Glasgow - both soft play and dress up section, as well as ride-on cars and cafe. Had to wait for staff members to let us in and out both times, but not for too long (would be good to have a buzzer to draw their attention). Cafe clean and spacious with lots of seating. Lockers if needed to leave valuables. Separate soft play for under 2s and massive larger soft play with 4 levels and several slides. Plenty of changing rooms for babies (although one door wouldn’t lock) and clean too.

Worth the money

I booked a session here as a special treat for my daughter who turned 4 midweek. I never consider it because its more expensive than our local soft play but to be honest our soft play has raised it’s prices that off peak this place is only about £2 more expensive and SO WORTH it ! It’s absolutely brilliant, loads to do, she had such a great time! I absolutely LOVE that it isn’t full of those £2 a go arcade games and machines! Had breakfast and coffee too and it was so nice. Will definitely be back, it’s really worth the extra cost.

Worth while

Excellent - staff all friendly and accommodative. With a dairy allergy the kitchen was deliberate and helpful with chef/manager coming to the table to help explain options and allergens. Helpful cake QR code to check those - though sadly all the cakes and biscuits on offer contained dairy - so that was not great. Alternative milk option only soya today but suggestion they normally have oat as well. Coffee delicious! Really kind and helpful team here. Could do with a little more frame-supervision to help prevent older kids from removing play items from each area and running riot, but this is only a suggestion as all kids were well behaved. Clever arrangement of apparatus and slides as well as role play sections. Large food area is nice.

Dirty & and wouldn’t even go to it if it were free!

When we arrived, we had a double pram. Opened the first door which we couldn’t fit through. The girl at reception, just watched us struggle. I eventually pulled back and asked if the other door can be unlocked to let us in. She had no idea what to do. Said she would need to get a manager. (Really simple FIRE RISKS, to not know how to open a door). Anyway, things didn’t get much better when we eventually got in. Place was filthy. They have not replenished resources within the role play areas so there’s not much to play with & what is there looked tire and run down. We had a 5 year old and 6 month old twins, baby area was absolutely disgusting. I know as well as the next person that soft plays can be a bit grubby but this one on particular was just outright, dirty! The mats were soaked, marked and smelly. The ball pit base had mould spots as did the baby bouncer chair. Just generally really unhygienic. I changed my babies on my lap in the end as the baby changing facilities weren’t much better. People assume because they pump artificial perfumes that it’s clean, they couldn’t be more wrong. I noticed so many children coughing and I do believe it’s down to the constant air fresheners used. I would not recommend and won’t be back.

Exceptional kids with needs

This was my first visit to a booking for children who have needs ASN. My 8 year old granddaughter was so happy got involved was not clingy, didn’t want to leave and actually played, the dimmed lights, less noise a limited people was such a bonus even I was happy, not having to constantly apologise for her behaviour. The other occations I have went to Fun Street I was stressed out, as she was consistently at my side not wanting to play. I’m hoping this is a regular time slot or occurrence it was even a pleasure speaking to other parents, grand parents who all understood the difficulties.

Badly organised and lack of training…

Badly organised and lack of training for staff. The girls in the room were very pleasant but inefficient.
The kids were told to come up for their food. Juice was on the table but not poured. The food arrived but the girls then disappeared looking for something to serve it with!! The kids were getting bored. The food did look appetising and tasted nice. There was more than enough for kids and adults. I asked for the food that had not been touched to be boxed to take home. Was told no - I said this was illegal and asked to speak to the manager. I was then given containers and told to fill them!! In general better more proactive organisation would have resulted in a much better experience. Unlike other soft plays there appeared to be no supervision of the children playing.
Overall poor value for money.

Disgusting behaviour from the owner Shafea

I have visited this place on a few occasions with my grand daughter and she loves it. However today I witnessed a quite traumatic scene with the owner Shafea, the way she spoke to a member of staff was shocking, shouting at him in front of the public because there was a napkin lying on the floor, he very politely said to her that they needed more staff, and following that she lost it and started shouting at him at the top of her voice where all the parents sitting a the tables could hear her. I approached her to tell her I was horrified at the way she was speaking to him and said I had been watching how hard the boy had been working all day , she did say thanks for that but in a very sarcastic way and didn’t seem interested in how she had shown herself up. The next thing the boy was taken away, I assume to be spoken too and then saw him leave shortly after that. I hope she has not sacked him for saying they needed more staff! Disgusting behaviour from the owner, no people skills at all.

Liars, Zero Customer service, Rude, Aggresive, poor experience

I recently booked my 5 year old daughter birthday party here, had a poor service on the day. Decor was nice, food was great, service was zero. The manageress came in to settle my final bill inside the party room with many witnesses in the room. I had paid a deposit for 10 children prior to making the booking. I emailed confirmation at the berginning of the week confirming that i can a confirmed number of 20 children with the possibility of more on the day which i obviously was going to be paid for and which i have already paid for in full. As mentioned the managaress came inside the party room (a public area not private in anyway) she asked me how the party went. I said give me full bill i will pay the complete bill then i will tell her how i felt about the party so it didnt seem as if i was doing this to cause a scene. my final bill was given me for 25 kids and 17 adults and i paid the bill promplty without questioning anything. Then i told here the things i was not happy with and she gave me the general managers email adddress to put my grievances into him. I came home and sent an email to the general manager and left a review on google. This is where the management lost the plot, the accused me of verbally abusing, shouting and bullying the staff, bear in mindmy duscussion with the manageress happened in a party room with many people as witnesses in the room. the owner of the business responded by saying it was my my fault by bringing too many people, however they were quite happy to charge me for those people and i was also more than happy to pay for those people, which i did. I have reciepts to prove this. The owner then took this a step further and said i had been reported to the police and they would be in touch with me. Today Sunday 13th Feb I went to Pollok police station which is across the road from fun street and spoke to office Brian and filled him in with all the details and he checked police scotland system and said there were no complaints against me originating from Fun Steet Silverburn Glasgow regarding abusive or aggresive behaviour. I have now emailed the general manager saying that their accusation against me is unacceptable. My review from google has been removed by them I assume. I have also emailed the general manager asking him to invite me and my lawyer to their office so we can review cctv of theses public areas and find out exactly who is lying, either me or the manageress. Its very simple, this will tell us exactly what went wrong, If someone was abusive and aggressive with my staff i would most definitly inform the police and would want to press charges. So if fun street is confident then i welcome them to let us review the cctv, maybe they will at my lawyers request. In this day and age i find it extremely unprofessional for fun street to not have the courtesy of speaking to me at least and showing me on their cctv where i was wrong, if i am wrong then their is absolutly no excuse for me, also vice versa if cctv shows that fun street were lying then there should be consequences of making personal attacks on my character and person. Other guests attending the party also left reviews on google saying the same thing and fun street responded to everyone with same respose saying you are from the faraz group, you are banned from our establishment and the police have been informed. I have email trail of communication prior to booking, i have my payment details proving i paid for every adult and child at the party, I have police evidence which proves they lied to me about saying that i have been reported to the police, and the cctv lies with fun street whic i assume has been installed to protect staff and guest, this would be an ideal opportunity for them to prove me wrong. The ball now firmly lies in fun streets court for them to proive me wrong.
