I searched for a monthly rental in Tucson, AZ for a few weeks and found most so-called landlords to not be completely forthright and even misleading. During that time I negotiated to book a rental wit... See more

Terrible experience with Furnished Finders we are still fighting
We had a terrible experience with Furnished Finders and still battling with the company. In December 2025, we used Furnished Finders (FF) in Phoenix, AZ to secure a long-term rental. We signed a 6 week lease with a property listed on FF and paid a $2400 deposit. After paying the deposit all communication with the leasing company ceased. We reached out to them multiple times for a refund and received no response. The lease we signed had a refund policy that stated "the renter shall be refunded back any payment if contract cancelled prior to moving in". We stated multiple times to the leasing company we wanted a refund of our deposit. We never moved into the property. We contacted FF customer support to report the leasing company and asked for its assistance in receiving a refund of our deposit. It requested multiple documents pertaining to the property we secured, which we promptly sent. FF responded that we need to contact our financial institution and file a dispute. When I pressed FF for an explanation as to why we have to resolve this with our credit union it stated they are unable to resolve issues with lease terms. FF is simply shirking its responsibilities and passing the liability it's solely responsible for on another entity. Per our financial institution's advice, we filed a dispute resolution with BillPay against FF requesting a refund of our deposit. Since FF is Better Business Bureau accredited, we also filed a complaint with the BBB against FF. Before using FF, please consider my story.
Furnished Finder bad for Landlords
Furnished Finder as a company does not treat it's Landlords right. The scam is that when you sign up for an annual membership, they set the auto-renewal and increase next year's fees. If you don't catch it in time, they will auto-renew you and will not refund you even if you call a day after the auto-renewal charged your credit card. Landlords, do not sign up with Furnished Finders.
Doubled their fees
Doubled their fees, now get $0 a year from me instead of $100. It was hit or miss before with renters anyway.
I was charged a $199 automatic renewal…
I was charged a $199 automatic renewal fee even though I no longer own the property associated with the account and cannot use the service. I contacted Furnished Finder immediately after the charge and requested cancellation and a refund, but both the representative and supervisor refused. I canceled the account right away, but they would not issue a refund despite the service no longer being usable. This experience was disappointing, and I encourage others to be aware of the automatic renewal policy.

The site blocked me from viewing my own messages. Truly incredible. If you want to rate limit users from sending messages, rate limit them. Why in the world would you block them from viewing existing conversations because they sent too many messages?
Beware! Auto-Renew Listings
Like many others, I have the same complaint – Furnished Finder charged my credit card $199 on February 6, 2026 without my permission because they set my listing to “auto-renew” without my knowledge. After seeing the charge on my statement, I contacted them for a refund and they have refused to issue it. The particular property where the listing auto-renewed, has long term tenants and the furnished finder listing is no longer needed. They are forcing me to pay in advance for a service that I do not need and that I will not use. Customers should be given a choice whether they want to renew a listing or not, instead of it being set to auto-renew without our knowledge. As other customers have mentioned, this is an unfair business practice.
Scam Artists..
Scam Artists... They don't want to tell you they auto renew and if it catches you by surprise good luck getting your money back. Have to dispute it now with the bank.
No integrity
I have to say this company has no integrity.
I had my account set on off for auto renewal. Not only did they renew it but they did not send me the email that they agreed to send 4 weeks ahead of time. The only email I received was once they were debiting my account for $200.
I had not used their service at 11 and 1/2 months as it yielded no matches for my area and for what I was offering.
And they knowingly take your money and make it impossible to get it back. I hope this website goes under because there are a lot of great websites to use to get your rooms rented short-term or long-term.
Furnished finders is a real scam and…
Furnished finders is a real scam and the authorities and everyone who has being scammed by them we should demand the authorities to close it, I use it three years ago and nothing happened the site has a lot of problems and they never discover to you that this is accordingly to them an anual payment, even though I never use them for two years last year the charge without any authorization my cc, and they are thieves materially.
this is really a scam.
Scam - Fake leads
I'm 2 blocks away from a hospital and couldn't get a single person interested in almost 1 year. I got a bunch of leads but I think they are all fake. Not one of them picked up with phone with the number they provided. Scam
Absolute scam company
Absolute scam company! They charge your card without permission. I called the day of the charge to have it refunded and they refused. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!
They are terrible!!! Don’t waste your money
As a landlord of many years after using furnished finder and having ongoing terrible customer service experiences with them- I can tell you honestly there are many other options that are much more tenant and landlord friendly. Modern day thieves- is the best way I can describe them. Find a better site!
They care about the money, not the clients...
This is a company that does not want to work with you, but they want your money.
SCAMMERS
SCAMMERS!
They put us on auto renewal and we did not authorize this. We have never booked anyone through them. Customer service is horrible - SCAMMERS!
Unfortunately
Unfortunately, my experience with Furnished Finder has been extremely disappointing. Despite having a well-maintained, fully furnished 2-bedroom unit priced well below market, offering reduced deposit options, and even covering utilities, the quality of leads has been very poor.
Most inquiries never respond back, feel automated, or show no genuine intent to rent. There is little to no accountability on the renter side, which makes hosting frustrating and time-consuming.
As a property owner acting in good faith, it feels like the platform prioritizes collecting listing fees over providing meaningful, engaged leads. I would not recommend Furnished Finder to landlords who rely on real, responsive tenants.
Beware of Furnish Finders
I sold my property and notified Furnished Finder within days. Despite this, they charged me for another full year and refused to issue a refund. It’s especially frustrating that companies like this outsource customer service to overseas call centers, which makes accountability and resolution nearly impossible.
Not so Great
I am a landlord with a property in Raleigh, North Carolina near NC State. I did get one renter for three months, and even though she was nice, she did not use the provided shower curtain in the bathroom, which turned into a total mess where we had to totally redo the bathroom and the ceiling downstairs due to heavy leaking. The rest of the inquiries were all scammy, creepy people that somehow got onto the furnished finder site. I got really tired of replying to people who told me just to use their phone number for texting. I would always call the number to verify that it was a person, and it was always not a legitimate phone number. The creepy scammers always said that they were in a “remote area” and could only use texting. It was really odd. Furnished finder would eventually tell me that the people I was interacting with were scammers, but couldn’t they screen them better? Nice idea for a website, and it might work sometimes if you have the patience to deal with and filter through all of the scammers. -Maryanna

Landlord is an alcoholic and a very unkind person.
its terrible
its terrible. No legitimate leads from this site. NONE at all! Lots of people looking for furnished housing but clearly not on furnished finder. They are only concerned with getting you to sign up for that reoccurring revenue and based on other reviews they will try to scam you into automatic renewal. if the site performed for people they wouldn't have to scam you into a renewal. People would gladly do it to get another tenant. I was only contacted by a few people who wanted me to sublease my property and I don't do that. Waste of the fee on this one, but we live and learn!!

Customer service is terrible and with 2 plus years of having my property listed and messaging over 100 potential renters I got zero tenants. You are better off with any other travel platform to list your rental property
