I was at ease talking to Paige P about the settee and chair, she was cheerful and very helpful regarding my enquiry, and arranged for a specialist to set up a visit in the next few days.

What a disappointment!!! Spent thousands over the years and been very happy with furniture village Abingdon but not this time, purchased two sofas and a dinning table and 8 chairs from them spent a few thousand pounds. I was also persuaded to buy the warranty I was told it would cover absolutely everything , I thought it was a good idea because I have dogs ! my sofa is 19 months old and it is peeling really bad , contacted the supposed warranty that covered everything and they have said it’s wear and tear to go back to the shop. I went back to the shop and even the assistant said that’s it was not wear and tear. I left them with pictures and a few days later got a call to say nothing they can do. What has happened to furniture village it was our place to go ? all they need to do was repair it and everything would have been great and we would still have shopped there and recommend them. Very very poor service this time !!! I have been looking at reviews can any one tell me if Kieran who asked for more information actually helped ? I am just in the process of court action . I cannot stress enough I have always been happy but to spend your hard earned money and get treated like this is out of order SHAME ON THIS COMPAY !

Paige was very helpful regarding the stain on the armchair. She has now organised for delivery of a replacement chair.

The mattress I bought was brilliant, except that it was (is) too firm, & caused much pain & discomfort.
Having obtained the go-ahead to swap (under the terms of purchase) - & that experience was also 5*, thank you to the young lady on the 'phone)l - I asked in store, & their attitude was 'of course, how may we help' - just the manner of customer service from which many others could learn.
Friendly, responsive, helpful, open to feedback from users - a refreshing change, harkens back to the customer experience of many decades ago.
Two people in particular, but I won't name them - if they read this, they'll know.

I await the replacement one, soft this time!

I have no connection with them except as a first time customer &, when we need something else, they'll be our first choice to browse.
(I also purchased another pillow whilst there, another seamless experience.)

I recently ordered a large size bed from Furniture Village through their online store, and i am genuinely happy with my purchase. The price was very reasonable compared to others places I checked.

Great sales team, pleasure to deal with. No pressure to buy very helpful relaxed shopping experience. Brought a bed and sofa. Will definitely buy from them in the future.

Did not feel under pressure to buy today, but the young man who spoke to us was very happy to help offering advice. Very friendly but not pushy. Unfortunately I did not get his name, if it helps we brought 6 dining room chairs

My mum was at the replacement of the legs of the chair, they took off the legs that clearly had a spin on and repayment with basic legs, so chairs do not match. They delivery guys would have known this, but still choose to replace with different legs. Back customer care

We are in the process of buying a dining table and six chairs from the Abingdon store. So far so good. Carl has been great. He is very approachable, helpful and has been great keeping us up-to-date. We are looking forward to receiving our orders.

Really good at selling you a product, I paid nearly 7k for for 3 settees and one of them has an issue. Iif you try calling customer services you just go into a queueing system (I’m currently no 13) and will is hang up. Try calling the telephone number is store at Abingdon and you just get a message saying that they are all to busy to take the call…

Lovely store, lovey but not pushy staff, let us wander about looking and trying. But there when we asked them. Only problem was a little thing on 1 sofa not quite right. Went into shop nearly 2 weeks ago, showed him photos. He went online to service dept. But we have heard nothing from anyone. So 4* not 5*

It's always our pleasure to visit furniture Village in Abingdon. Every time we visit we find friendly face sellsmen and sellswomen.
There are plenty quality furniture in store. Our friendly and extremely helpful sellsman Simon who sold us 4x large walldrobes, a 6 draw chest of frawers, super king size massage. Reclining ottoman bed and a 2.4m long real wood with 3 chairs and a long bench plus a wall hung pictire. My sister also bought herself a large walldrobes, king-size massage, reclining ottoman bed, plus wall hung picture from Simon too.
We all are very happy with what we bought. Thank you Simon!
We will re visit our firniture store again soon to buy a set of settees.
