Sales staff very good
Delivery very good.
BUT HAVE 4 LEG FITTING SCREWS MISSING, HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO SEND 4 SCREWS IN THE POST WHICH I WILL FIT MYSELF.
HOW MANY PHONE CALLS DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE.

Helpful staff and great choice of accessories

Went to Guildford store looking for a specific lamp. David Blacklidge was really helpful offered us coffee and cookie but left us to browse. We found the lamp also bought another lamp and a rug but David was extremely patient.
Highly recommend- great choices and good value. Will definitely return.

Faulty bed frame

I went into my local store to order my ottaman frame when it came and was built i noticed many defects ,too many to mention , including bent frame , so preventing it from closing smoothly.
I was very disappointed and shocked by what they had sent me , the men came back the next morning to inspect this and agreed it shouldn’t have been sent out , quality control was shocking .
Now awaiting a new bed frame.
This has caused uncertainty whether to shop with this company again.

Delivery was shocking

Delivery was shocking! I felt intimidated in my own home. My bed base was ripped because they used force to push the base of the wardrobe into my bedroom and part of my furniture was left behind and they had to return later with the missing draw chest later in the day. It's very disappointing, because we are returning customers and our previous experience was 5*

I visited Furniture Village Guildford…

I visited Furniture Village Guildford on Thursday 12th March and was greeted by Liam Eaton who honestly said that there was nothing in the store which would completely meet my requirements but........then showed me a sofa which was not the colour (dill) which I would have chosen and looked a bit bigger than I thought would fit in the space I had allocaeted for it and abit more expensive than I initially had in mind!! This sofa bed arrived here on Monday 23rd March.......and it is just the right thing! LIam was quietly persuasive and encouraging me to make a purchase which I think he could see was actually growing on me! Not at all pushy as some sales staff can annoyingly be! A really great experience.....nice hot chocolate and cookies too!
The two men who delivered the sofa and carried it up the stairs did so expertly anad carefully and were very charming.
All in all I am a very happy customer! Many thanks

i had an excellent experience with the…

i had an excellent experience with the service provided by David Blacklidge. From the moment i visited on Saturday just to have a look around, he was incredibly helpful without being at all pushy, which i really appreciate as a returning customer, he also made sure i received a discount on the items i was considering. i took some time to think about my decision overnight and returned the following day. Even though David was just finishing with a client he kindly made me a coffee and apologised for the short wait. the entire sales process was simple and smooth and i was promised delivery within 7 days. Impressively, by day 2 i was informed delivery would be arriving this week, so all within 6 days Overall my experience of the customer service was outstanding, thank you

Incompetent post-sales service

We recently moved to the UK and needed plenty of new furniture for our home. We made a large purchase with the main components being a bed for our son and a bed for ourselves. That was more than 2 months ago. Though the rest of the furniture has been delivered, including our son's bed, ours hasn't. And the most frustrating part is when I called the warehouse in Guildford for more info, repeatedly, I have been told that the bed is in the national warehouse in Milton Keynes, just not yet been delivered to Guildford. Nobody at the Guildford location can apparently escalate to the correct individuals to actually make something happen and when I went back to the store where we purchased everything, in New Malden, the store manager stated he would escalate further. It's been 4 days since then and he called this morning stating that he's sending emails but to no avail. When I asked if he could call someone there directly, he said no. Overall a very disappointing experience and I highly recommend that you do NOT purchase anything from them.

Helpful prompt attention

We were immediately helped by an experienced knowledgeable sales person
We were offered a style of furniture that we could immediately relate to and the whole process was completely ordered and paid for with a minimum of fuss.
